I've had to come to this branch for over a year now and they always have long lines with 1 or 2 tellers open at a time but bankers sitting at desk not doing anything to help the line move. They no longer have there merchant line for business banking and expect you to wait in line for 30 plus minutes regularly. They give you a hard time over money orders when money orders are the same as cash it shouldn't matter who signs or puts the name whereas long as the "cash" is not fake or altered. I'm happy I do not personally bank with Wells Fargo and I never will with how they are in this branch. read more

We started going to this Wells Fargo when we moved to town 35 years ago and it was the only branch in town. It was ok back then but these days We do all of our banking at the Safeway branch in Glen Cove where they are efficient, friendly and have no to very short lines. These are the things I expect of a branch and all of the things that the main branch doesn't offer. The last time I went in I was quizzed by their rent a cop as to why I was there and when I told him it was none of his business he got all COP on me, saying if I didn't tell him I would have to leave. Wow I received excellent customer service today. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I had misplaced a money order both the manager and a banker named Vanessa helped me resolve my problem. They were able to stop payment for the lost money order. Yes, there is a fee but I needed to cancel it and get a new one for my work. Vanessa found out all the information and made several calls to make sure everything was done correctly. Yay! I got my new money order for my work. I really like baking with Wells Fargo and recommend this location. read more

Got robbed of my purse in their parking lot on 2/1/24 at 3pm in broad daylight after withdrawing funds from inside the bank. Two security guards in the parking lot not paying attention to anything. Some dude with "TMC" red striped shirt behind the counter, acting like I'm ruining his day for asking what I I do about my card that isn't working in the atm outside, finally tells me they don't have replacement cards there. The singularly 2nd worse bank in the universe after Bank of America. Let me tell you specifically why I think so: 1. Horrible and unclear customer service: they give unclear directions that lead to a waste of time. I was told that I need to call the bank to close the account - I cannot do this in person which I find preposterous. So I called and I was told that I had to call between only certain hours to close the account. 2. Impersonal and lack of concern. This is standard operating behavior for all banks. It is not the fault of the branch personnel. They are just doing their job. I fault the bank and their policies. Their policies are not designed to support the client. They are designed to make the processing easier for the bank. Do not use this bank or Bank of America. read more

I've been going to this Wells Fargo for over two years now. It's located at a corner which makes it easy to get to especially since that road can be pretty busy. However, it is hard to get out due to the fact of how busy that area is. The bankers are friendly and professional. They usually have 4-5 available tellers which is great given how busy this branch is. So the wait won't take too long. They also have 4 atm machines outside for your after hours money biddness. The main reason why I go to this particular location is you are able to withdraw a big amount of cash. Compared to other locations, you would have to call in beforehand. Probably because this is the only Well Fargo in Vallejo that has their own building and not inside a Safeway, Raleys, etc. Do I recommend this bank? Answer: Suuuure. #roadtoelite read more

I love this branch as I have a lot of wonderful memories there. Over twenty years ago, I worked there. The difference now is that mostly it's crowded parking and very difficult to get in and out of the parking, specially and specifically during the start of the month. So far, no good. Hate 1-starring, but this one screams for such rating and is fully earned. Very difficult organization to work with on many levels. Biggest gripe at this location is the medieval practice of making customers line up outside in the cold or heat and only letting 5-6 customers inside at a time. "Line up for your free soup & bread folks!" Like images of food lines during the Great Depression. Maybe could understand better at the start of Covid, but we've graduated beyond that. And it's the only bank or business I know of that still does this...for un-posted reasons. Is it a staffing issue? Hire more people! Most of the staff, including the personal bankers, act like they've only been on the job a week at most, maybe their first day, idk? (Ex # 1: my teller didn't know the difference between their own WFB routing number and my personal account number! Yikes-Seriously?). Ex # 2: Personal bankers kept ping-ponging me around because they were unclear on policy & procedure. Even after the supervisor in the back told them what to do, they still resisted and were confused. Ask for more training friends! Study up on those policy-procedure aids on your downtime. Parking lot's a dump also with no litter abatement. Sad state of affairs. Your multiple 1-star reviews speak volumes and aren't a coincidence. You can & should strive for better folks! read more

In October, I worked with a bank rep. to set up a WISE international currency tranfer for my checking/savings account and we did a test to send funds to an Australian bank. It worked fine. Then, I met with the same rep. to close out my accounts right before I moved to Australian. I thought we would use the WISE app but instead the rep. issued cashier checks for over $20,000 US dollars. I attempted to deposit the funds in my new Aussie bank and they could not accept the checks. I was devastated and sent urgent emails to the rep. and the bank manager, with no response! I have over $20,000 US dollars frozen in cashier checks I cannot deposit. Wells Fargo is forcing me to get the US Consulate in Australia to notarize a Wells Fargo request form for an electronic transfer. The earliest appointment is scheduled for November 29th. This should never have happened when I met the rep. before I left for Australia. I am in a financial crisis because of their mistake and customer service is not helping. Beware! read more

I dont recommend going to this bank, i have heard on the news that thieves have been stealing large quantities of money from costumers once they are out of the bank. Somehow thieves know which costumers carry alot of money and get targeted. i saw the report in Univision and one client thinks that maybe the cashier tipped the thieves. read more

I've been here a few times before I started to yelp and it always lands around the first,15th or the Friday of which is usually the busiest time for any bank. Ive been a member at numerous banks due to lifestyle changes or banks being bought by the major ones but this specific one is FAST. I would normally withdraw out of an ATM but there are some times that you just need to go in or just don't want $20s for days. I go first thing in the morning and there will always be a line. I would say that there are usually about 12 people in front of me but never in my experience had to wait for more than 10 minutes. I can go to another Wells Fargo and do the same thing but end up waiting. Even if I have to drive across Vallejo to get to this one, this branch has earned my business. I've had different tellers each time and I have been more than satisfied with the experience and the service. read more

The COVID virus is here and to be safe we wanted to add a name to a bank account. You can open joint accounts online and never go into a branch office but to add a name to an account even for people in the high risk categories you must go into the office. We spent over an hour on the phone and no one could find anyway to do this without us going into an office, getting a power of attorney which would require us going into an office. We could open a joint account and then transfer the money which would only entail us having to fix direct deposit without going into a branch but nothing else could be done. You have to be flexible in unusual circumstances you have to understand that whether I add a name to an account or open up a brand new account the requirements should be the same. Do not bank here find a bank that will work with you. read more

I don't have an account here but my Landlord does so I pay rent here. Last month August 2014 I went into pay rent and had extremely poor customer service. I went to a young lady that has a desk by the doors that face south. She was extremely helpful and apologetic. I was given the Mgr's number, I left several messages, I have'nt received a return call yet. Today I go in with my service dog. The same young lady at her desk sat me down and was preparing a deposit for me. An older security guard caming walking up to me and the employee behind the desk started telling him that I had a service dog and that it was ok, he continued telling me that no animals are allowed, ignoring the young lady. She then said that we are almost done everything was ok. He still didn' pay any attention to her so I then started to tell him about service animals. He then interrupted me and asked what was wrong with me and were are the papers all in a very rud and condasending tone. By this time I was so insulted I explained to him about ADA and the laws. He again intrarupted me and asked me if he brought a lion in tomorrow that would be alright. I replied that he was being very rud and condescending. As he walked away he kept telling people very loudly that tomorrow he was bringing a lion in and no one can say anything to him, because he can do anything he wants. I looked at the young lady helping me and said that I really needed to change to another bank. She apologized again and said that she remembered me form last month and the issues I had then. On my way back home I looked up the phone number there and called to speak with the manager again. Upon asking for the manager a woman asked ( why do you want to talk with her ) I said that I had a problem at the bank. The employee then asked what the porblem was. I repeated that I wanted to speak with the manager. The employee then said that the manager wasn't in and she can take my name and number. After I gave her the information asked when the manager would return and the employeed hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS BANK THERE IS ONLY A COUPLE OF EMPLOYEES THAT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS THERE. I WILL BE GOING TO THE ONE OF THE OTHER 2 IN VALLEJO IN SAFEWAY OR DOWN ON SONOMA. PRAYING SERVICE IS BETTER AT ONE OF THEM. read more

Came to apply for a car loan and David Catap was the one that helped me. He was so helpful and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, the bank was offering me less than what I was looking for so I decided not to go with Wells Fargo. If I ever need to open another account or apply for any loans I will definitely talk to David again. I paid to have a check delivered Fedex overnight to me from my brokerage account to pay some bills that were due. I deposited the check in a Wells Fargo ATM and the funds were placed on hold for 5 business days. When I went to the bank to find out why I got alot of shrugging of the shoulders and no help. I came to this branch to pay my rent because my landlord has an account. On Feb 2, 2015 at 5pm. I walked in and the line was long. I waited for ten or more minutes; there were 3 tellers. Once it was my turn; the teller Sam assisted me and asked how was my day and how was his service. I told him everything is great but I was honest and told him; they needed more tellers. Despite her terrible attitude and acting as if she doesn't have time for any customer I had AMAZING customer service from one of the personal bankers, Eric M. He seems to be new there because I've been coming to this one for some time but he was awesome. He helped me open a business account and I didn't feel pressured at all to sign up for any other acct or anything like that. Which is the usual. He was charming and had a great attitude twords me. This is not my bank and will never be my bank due to the poor customer service and unprofessionalism at this branch. I am the treasurer of a small non profit and need to make deposits for the organization. I was in the branch yesterday, they closed down the merchant window after my transaction because they said they didn't have staffing but the floor manager (at least that who she appears to be) was chatting and laughing and carrying on with another employee who was using her cell phone on the internet for the duration of my transactions which took at least 10 minutes. If this was a one off I would not be writing this but this is standard at this branch.
