Not a great experience with their customer service staff. I was a payee on my sister's account. She passed away on 04/15/2026. I went to the branch and was given different information. I was told social security would take the money because she was on SSI however over the phone got different information. Went to my sister's bank and was referred to the the dept. That handles it. I got different answers from different people. The manager in Vallejo on Admiral Callaghan Lane passed me off to someone not familiar with the process. The lady wasn't helpful and it took an hour. Seemed like no one was following procedure. read more

This bank shouldn't even get any stars at all. The service is always the worst. Lines are always long. I see that they have enough employees but only a couple of windows are always open. I don't even know why this bank is still open. I don't why they can't render good customer service to their customers. They don't even care even when the line gets long. read more

Chase bank does not represent its customers. It has a fiduciary responsibility to those of us who bank there but it's loyalties are to its affiliates such as visa. Recently someone apparently duplicated my card and used it five times at two gas stations in a 12 hour period to run up a bill of more than $500. When I saw the charges I called the bank and told them they were fraudulent. I live in Northern California these things we're done in Southern California Hollywood to be exact. Chase took my complaint, checked it out and decided that it was not fraud. I was told so many lies it was ridiculous. First I was told they decided that it wasn't out of my area. They weren't sure where the gas stations were but they were sure that they were close to me and that I had done this. Then they told me they could not return the money because it already been paid. What? Credit card companies always return your money. No, I was not allowed to reopen the case. I would have to pay the money. When I asked why they had allowed me to be overdrawn like this and never questioned it they said they had an agreement with visa. What has that got to do with anything? Then I went into the branch in Lafayette and the gentleman there forgot all about me for several days but when I called a second time he was helpful. He found that if I filed a police report and got statements from people who could verify that I was at home and not in Southern California when it's occurred that they would reopen it. So I did exactly that and I sent in my documentation and two weeks later they were still calling in collection for the amount that I was overdrawn. I told no less than three people that I had sent in the documents but that didn't do any good. So I called back in again spoke to someone who agreed to reopen the case . Now mind you, in the meantime, I also have an account at Wells Fargo. I was traveling from the bay area to northern climbs and on my second ATM usage they shut my card off and sent me a notice asking if it was me. I wonder why Chase didn't do that? It was obvious someone was using my card standing in the same place selling gas why would they allow that to go on and then insist that it was not fraud? So now after seven collection calls threatening my credit they have finally deemed that it was fraud and all is well the money will be returned to my account and all is forgiven. My ass! I'm not forgiving. I'm closing my account and saying bad things for the rest of my life about Chase. This was so unnecessary and so wrong. It was obviously fraud from the very beginning. Why did they put me through two months of misery? Why did they not turn the card off when it was being used Like that? read more

I felt as if he addressed every issue promptly and professionally. I appreciated his ability of being able to explain each resolution very thoroughly. The parking is insane.... you cant park on the street because its a red zone and its always packed! the small parking lot is always full of people trying to get in and out the atms are right in front of the redzone and the parking across the street is stupid because its one of the busiest intersections and the light to the cross walk takes forever to change... read more

Staff is Ok, but need more tellers. They rely on their ATMs to do your banking for you and frankly, I have zero trust in any machine, they make mistakes too, which seem to be more difficult to unravel once the deed is done! Chase mobile app is only good for checking your account balance, do not use it to attempt to pay bills or make deposits, it doesn't work and is untrustworthy to accomplish the task. read more

Helpful experienced staff and manager. I went to 2 other Chase banks in Marin and Sonoma to help me with a trust account. Mr. Dildine, the manager was the only one I've met who had the experience and expertise to help. I very much recommend this location for its professionalism and know how. came in for some information for a business account and was left waiting while a worker by the name of Ashley was very rude and also failed at really explaining why i was left 20 minutes with no help, when i desperately needed to open up an account. she proceeded with a tone of irritation and was not friendly at all after i accepted the wait. i understand personal issues but i do not think it is fair to have gone to so many Chase Branches and get this service in my own neighborhood. the young lady was very unprofessional and i am use to better management from any Branch i visit. i would expect better service next time around but i also feel your workers need some sort of empathy training. I work nearby this location and stop by from time to time after work. I try not to because the usually don't have change. I went for change one time for a yard sale....... couldn't give me any. They asked if it was for my job and I said no. They started talking amongst themselves and only have me 1's and 5's. I had to visit the branch in Fairfield, no big deal, I just thought they were low on money. At church, we sometimes host a game called left, right, center and need lots of change. I came in asking for 6 rolls of each. Again, they asked is it for your job? I said no and they leave me there for a good 10 minutes discussing it and the answer is no again. I'm upset at this point because I'm not going back to Fairfield so I have to stop several places to get what I need. THIRD TIME! Again we are hosting the game, this time with all kids and need a $25 case of pennies!....... bo big deal right? Wrong! Why did I come here? I forgot they are not here to give change even though it's a bank, but I had a deposit also. They talk, leave me hanging for 15 minutes and say they have nothing to give me....... why did it take that long? Why does a bank not have change when needed? I leave, stil needing change by 2pm so I call the next closest bank. Not being a customer I'm expecting them to laugh at me. But no. USBANK helped me no problem.
