We have video and photo evidence that shows complete damage to our property, even after they attempted to resolve an issue. The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. I had 4 quotes total and these guys had the best price by far and they were rated highly on YELP. So I gave them the order. The workers worked neatly and efficiently. When i inspected the work after they left for the day, I found 3 minor issues to be fixed. I took pictures of them and sent them to the saleslady, Malak. The workers came back the next day and repaired them to my satisfaction. I wanted to rearrange some of the furniture and the workers were happy to so. Not so easy as everything I selected was the same-not available. Why would you even have discontinued samples on your display? They don't have much choice to begin with so it just got worse. The one I ended up ordering took forever and then when it was delivered it was totally matted and the installer said it would never look any better and suggested I not accept. So it got returned. I ended up spending a lot of my own time researching options with the manufacturer to find SOMETHING we could use. Finally found one and they said it was more expensive. (Sure it was ) I paid the extra and got it installed. It was supposed to be one of those great pet and kid proof wears-like-iron types. Nope. Had it cleaned (I'm really picky about floors being clean) and it would not clean at all. They were here forever and could not get it clean. Had a friend who is in the business come take a look and they said to remove it-the fibers were crap and would never look how they should. So over $2000 on a small bedroom later, we're pulling the crap up and putting in hardwood. I hate to say it but I regret ever going in that store

They came out and measured the kitchen to make sure the measurements we gave them were correct as well, which we really appreciated. After 15 yrs, it's time to re-do the flooring in the kitchen once more, and we will be returning to Christoff and Sons Floor Covering. I really like going to "small" hometown businesses !!! We were treated like family. I am looking forward to returning to Christoff & Sons once again. It's great to see that Jackson MI still continues to have a few privately owned "mom" & "pop" businesses, ones that we can get that "special " treatement from, instead of being made to feel as though we are just "another " customer looking for a "deal". Dealing with small businesses gives us the pride of keeping our money in our community !!

My salesperson, Stephanie, told me I needed to pay for the carpet upfront before it could be ordered. I brought in a check for $3,660, as they offered no credit card or electronic payment options. By that point, my installation date had already been pushed back because Tom forgot to measure one of the bedrooms and had to return. Then, after business hours on a Friday, Stephanie sent an email to my work email at 5:11 PM informing me they didn't actually have the carpet and would not be meeting the agreed-upon installation date. No phone call. No text. Just an email. I called first thing Monday morning and requested a refund because I had made my timeline clear from the beginning and had no flexibility left. Stephanie flatly refused to return my money and told me it wasn't possible to speak with an owner or manager. Since they wouldn't refund my payment, I reluctantly agreed to another installation date. Things only got worse. Christoff's sent out their "premier" installation crew (one person) to begin the project, assuring me the carpet was definitely on the way this time. The installer put down tack strips and padding, then attempted to install the completely wrong carpet. I ordered a tan carpet, and they showed up with a white Berber carpet. To this day, I have still not had a direct conversation with either owner, Ted or Tom. Ted will send text messages and Facebook messages but refuses to actually get on the phone and discuss the situation. To make matters even more uncomfortable, Tom spoke negatively about his own employees. Specifically referring to the "girls in the office" Poor communication, missed deadlines, incorrect materials, and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend this company.

I had to hire one of the contractors to redo.
