They have a foot doctor, in every room from 2nd floor is a different doctor. You have to call 24 hours in advance to make appointments. Is not a very far place, it looks like a small hospital. Like the way everyone treat everybody. Some of the nurses are very friendly and so nice. I go here thru my husband's insurance plan. And the pharmacy is right there one block next to it. Now I don't have to pay for my medications.

Last year, when Dr. Oosterbaan brought it up during my annual appt, she was fairly understanding and made some good recommendations. Fast forward to this year and my weight came up again and she basically encouraged me to develop an eating disorder if I wanted to lose weight... She suggested I skip breakfast, eat three hard boiled eggs for lunch, and have plain grilled chicken on top of a bed of plain lettuce for dinner. And if I wanted a snack at all during the day to have a cheese stick. She also said that peanut butter and nuts are too caloric, and that I should never eat those. And forget about carbs! She said pasta and bread are a huge no no (even in moderation) and that she never eats carbs. What was I supposed to say? Congratulations on depriving yourself of tasty foods? She was also super abrasive and rude when she said she wouldn't write me a prescription for Ozempic (which, I never asked for one and wasn't planning on asking for it!) She brought it up on her own. I've never left an appointment feeling so horrible about myself, but there's a first time for everything and thanks to Dr. Oosterbaan, that's exactly how I felt. If this is how she treats someone who isn't considered "overweight", I'm scared to imagine how she treats someone who is. Two and a half weeks later and I'm still disgusted by this conversation. I'll find someone else who treats their patients with respect and understanding, which you won't get with her.

First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. I personally under appreciated Dr Pryba because I didn't have anyone to compare him with. I never had insurance and obviously procrastinated it wheb I had it so now that I dont have him as a PCP I value his way to help me manage my health. Since day one he addressed my concerns and was sensitive about my concerns. I don't remember having a lot of tests / screening before him but I'm glad my insurance was really good because this allowed me to have a better control of my health. With Dr Pryba and his follow ups I was able to manage my cholesterol to normal levels. He is very knowledgeable and explains thoroughly about everything. He doesn't leave any stone unturned and listens to onces concerns. Keep up the good job !
