On Dec 30, 2024, I had a "mini check-up" with Dr Jeff Wang who I like as my doctor. A "mini check-up" is what I call our visit where we mostly just talked. I informed him that my insurance was expiring and I probably would not be able to see him. He told me that they have a special $80/per visit for people who are uninsured. So I did another mini check-up in April 2025. I specifically told the ladies at the front desk/reception that I had no insurance and I prepaid the $80. Then I receive a bill in June 2025 that I still owe $117. I called, spoke to billing, and was told I am still responsible for the bill because I did not specifically request a "waiver." WTF?!#@*??!! I pleaded with billing to grant me the waiver as NO ONE told me, or was it posted anywhere in their offices, that I specifically had to request a waiver because they would not offer it to me, But the lady said "sorry, you should have known and it's already in the system." I started with Wellspire Cypress in January as my primary care provider. Communications on referrals was poor, apparently the office was way backup, and the excuse even by end of March was still working on beginning of the year rush. Do not use them as PCP, we made an extremely bad choice for our needs of a PCP. read more

This place is great but they have a NP I seen at there location in Cypress who also works here. She also said I needed to eat better. First off I am by no means lazy. Yes last few months I'm not as active because I had knee surgery. Yes I'm on the larger side but I have always been very active. I'm not large due to how or what I eat. Yeah it's not perfect but it's not horrible. I have been trying to lose weight. I don't have high blood pressure or cholesterol or anything like that. I have done everything I can short of spending a fortune on injections again. Yes they work but as soon as I stop taking them I start gaining the wait .No matter what I do . I left in tears. I came in with an issue that had nothing to do with my weight. Instead of focusing on this and helping me with this she instead insulted me. I know I'm heavy the whole world does but you don't have to be rude. She could have asked what my eating or cooking habits are or how much activity did I do. Not tell me I'm fat and quit sitting on the couch all day. She accused me of just restarting my hormone meds the week before and that's why I left so upset. That was not the case. I left because well let's just say it was better for everyone. Now the office in humble has wonderful people there. My doctor left there otherwise I would still be seeing Paula Layhe. She was the best and I would drive to humble if she was still there. read more

Today Wellspire gets one star! The only reason I am writing a Yelp review, is because I am unable to speak with the Doctor, according to Christina if I want to speak with Dr. Mehta, I would need to make an appointment to come in and speak with Dr. Mehta, she refused to take a message and have Dr. Mehta call me. I have been a Wellspire patient for years, customer service has never been a strong suit for Wellspire's, Humble Office. Today I received a call from a collection agency, stated that I owed $25.00 for a missed appointment on September 15, 2020, I responded to the caller that on September 15, 2020 I was in bed with covid, and I would call Wellspire and handle the dispute, the collection agency agreed to place the collection on hold and give me an opportunity to handle the dispute. I called the business office in Humble and spoke with Christina, I informed her that I had COVID on September 15, 2020, instead of saying, I'm glad you are OK, her response was, we have sent you four notices and you have not responded, so the bill was sent to collections and there is nothing I can do about it. I called the Atascocita Office and spoke with Noemi, who looked up my information and confirmed that I had called in on September 14, 2020, and that Kira Moss, PC, had noted my file that I had a fever, and COVID, and that I would not be in for my appointment on September 15, 2020 at 11:15 AM. Noemi, then called Christina in the Humble office and explained that I had indeed called and that the Atascocita Office was aware that I would not be in on September 15, 2020 for my 11:15 AM appointment. Christina informed Noemi, that she would need to speak with someone else about the situation. What do you think wold have happened had I showed up in Wellspire's, Atascocita Office with COVID? Apparently the only person this is important to is me. I am seventy nine (79) years old and deserve better treatment than this. It appears this is all about the money, with little or no concern for the patient. read more

I am so disappointed in the care of my loved one during office visits. How can i rate this facility as a ---10. Receptionist will loose your documentation, doctors have bad bed manners, office management is a joke. My letter to the doctor board is on its way to Austin. Stay away if possible. read more

Dr. Syed Shahid is a jerk. I expressed to him the issue I was experiencing and he did not believe me. He was rude, condescending, and would not listen to anything I said. He then tried to give me diet pills. I can't believe that he's actually a doctor. Do not see this man. He and Brian Chou from the Atascocita office are both terrible doctors and treat people with zero respect or sympathy. read more

So far I've had good treatment here - it's not easy relocating and finding a doctor especially when you have disability and condition. Dr Meghan treated me with respect as did the nurse, and I usually get a lot of stigma for my disability. I got a little lost in the maze and it felt sort of like a twilight zone in the blood waiting room like some room you wait in while waiting in limbo for some judge to decide if you go to Heaven or Hell - an odd bell and an empty room of chairs and take a number sort of thing - then again that's probably my imagination. The bloodwork lady - I've got my blood drawn regularly for many years for needed checkups - and it's never hurt that bad - It really hurt... she could use some training and bedside manner. The office people in the back seemed professional and busy, not like very cheerful but helpful and doing their job. The front desk people greeted me with a smile though and were kind and welcoming and got us in to see the doctor within a week. I need to make my husband an appointment. The location is convenient although the parking is a a bit squishy. read more

I live in Willis and refuse to see anyone else. This office has been taking care of my family for generations. The doctors and nurse practitioners are amazing and actually listen to you. The front desk is knowledgeable and polite. Never have to wait too long either. I will always recommend this office. read more

Same day appointments when there is a problem, nurse line quick response, friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean office. Efficient and fast, but you leave with answers and solutions. More specialties coming soon. read more

Front desk clerk Amanda was very rude. She acted as if she didn't care that she was at work. She snatched my insurance and ID card. She also had an attitude about answering questions. The wait time is far longer than the actual visit. No matter what you come in for the doctor seems to always find a way to blame it on allergies. Even after I told her I my cough went away with antibiotics. Which brings me to my final point. It is so hard to get scheduled that I ended up scheduling this appointment for a month away and had to go to urgent care to get treatment. I only went to the appointment to confirm that the cold was gone. I will not be returning to this establishment. I'll have to hunt for another PCP because it's not worth the head ache or lack of attentiveness towards patient concerns. read more
