I'm in a wheelchair; I found the museum to be very accessible. Admission is $10-12 at most, and Veterans are free. But seriously, consider making a donation anyway. These wonderful places require so much upkeep. We don't want to lose them!

The front desk worker was a bit brusque in their interactions, however there were a few of us entering at once, so it might have just been a bit overwhelming for them. As someone on a budget, the price was a little on the high side, however nothing exorbitant. The exhibits were easy to navigate and good use was made of the available space. Artifacts were meticulously laid out both inside the main museum and in the pioneer village. The Great Northern Railway car was open to exploration, which was very neat. The whole pioneer village was well maintained and a great way to get some context for what life in Cashmere was like in the past. I noted a few bloopers on my visit, one concerning geology and one concerning currency. Some people I know love bloopers, in Hollywood they are something that might go wrong in constructing/putting together a movie and are visible in the final product, and they feel it can add to the overall experience. However, I am not currently the biggest fan of bloopers, though I used to enjoy them more, perhaps I am just a bit rusty on their enjoyment value.

Our show was sold out. Not a bad seat in the house. Live band. Local production. Very well done. Might want to bring a light jacket for when the sun is setting. Once the show was over, you make your way down the hill or take the shuttle bus again. By the time you get out of the amphitheater and into your car, it's clear sailing out of there. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend a Leavenworth summer evening. Might want to get tickets in advance as we did.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake when booking and my tickets are for this Friday instead of next Friday. I made a mistake, yes. However, when I called, they said it's their policy to not correct mistakes or even exchange the tickets. So, I'm out $95 because they don't want to move the tickets to the night I could go. The tickets are during a sold out night. The two tickets would sell in a heartbeat, but they are not willing do anything. This will be my third visit, actually my fourth since we are seeing two separate shows two nights in a row. I will never make this mistake again, but I won't return now. I think this policy is horrible and I will now boycott them. They get 5 stars for the shows and venue because the talent is truly great. They get 1 star for terrible customer service. I met both in the middle with a 3 star review.

Art In the Park is a mainstay in the center of Leavenworth. It's runs from May through mid-October…read moreeach year where several artisans can be found in tents selling their hard worked, handmade goods. This ranges from professional photography prints, painted works of various styles, pottery, jewelry, artists who will draw you as a caricature, metal sculpting and much more. The tents are located right near the event gazebo in the center of Leavenworth. Hard to miss. There are Artists who find residence for the duration of the season of Art in the Park, but there are also new artists joining so any visit to Leavenworth will mean a good reason to stroll through Art in the Park if you like crafted works. In addition, the regular artists may have one of a kind works so if you see it once, you may not see it again and on repeat visits the likelihood of something new being for sale is high. If you're in Leavenworth, along with all the sights you take in, pass by Art in The Park. Support local artists and maybe find that one of kind gift or decor for yourself or a friend.

Walking into this theater instantly took me back to my childhood. It's dang near identical. I will probably end up doing some research to see if they were built by the same franchise/owner back in the day. The ticket booth is located down the street- really that is our only complaint. For the tourist it was a very minor difficulties/confusion. But once inside I felt like I grew up here. Now I've said this and many other theater reviews- You already know that snacks, popcorn, water and sodas are outrageously priced, prepare for that and don't complain. With that ..... Spaces comfortable clean seating from what I could tell. We watched - The Joker.

He said he's been there three years and will be moving to a new location out of town. It's really not suited well for downtown Leavenworth but we loved his store and his ideas. We came here on the advice of some friends, and, after reading about their yearly rendition of the…read moresound of music, where the characters actually come out of the forest! We bought some last-minute tickets for what ended up being there, last production of the year, and it was phenomenal! It's quite literally an amphitheater up on a ski hill, and is a little bit of a hike from the parking lot. There's an opportunity to purchase food and beverage at a small lodge about halfway up the hill, and overall it was about a quarter mile hike from the parking lot up to where you were seated. They have pillows that you can sit on, for purchase/rent, and since only about two or 300 people are able to sit in the amphitheater area, there's not a bad seat in the house. The, production of sound of music that we saw was fantastic, and really was made better by the surroundings. There's something quite magical to being able to sit outside on a nice summer evening and watch a play. If you haven't done it, it should be on your list of things to do!
