I have never had Wendy's for breakfast before and decided why not on this stop. This is attached to the Love's so it is a shared space. You can go back and forth between the two. Plus restrooms are on the Love's side. When I approached the counter there was one customer in front of me. He was taking his time and had no awareness of his surroundings. I think he finally caught on when the lady manning the register kept darting eyes towards me as if to say sorry it was taking too long. With him finally out of the way, I was able to get my order in and just wait for it to be ready. I just wanted something small that I could eat in the vehicle while I kept travelling. Finger food basically. I just got a huge Fresh Lemonade and an order of the breakfast potatoes. Needless to say, the order was completed fast. I had it in hand and was out to my vehicle to get settled in for the rest of this travel. I guess you could say that this wouldn't convert me to a regular breakfast person, but in a pinch it would do. The potatoes weren't bad, but not something I would crave. read more

come to this Wendy's twice a day, every day. I work from the dining room, so I see and hear a lot more than someone who just pops in once a week. That's why I want to take a moment to shout out the amazing team at this location. It's easy to judge from the outside, but this crew works incredibly hard. I've watched them deal with rude, impatient, and downright nasty customers--and still handle every situation with professionalism and kindness. The manager, Christine, especially deserves recognition. I've seen her deal with some really tough situations, but she doesn't let it affect her attitude or her team. Are they perfect every single day? Of course not--nobody is. But overall, this is a group of people who consistently show up and give it their best. They know their regulars, learn your name, remember your order, and genuinely ask how you're doing. That means something. It shows they care. I hope Wendy's sees what a great team they have at this location. These people deserve appreciation and respect. It's a tough job, and they take a lot of crap they shouldn't have to. But they keep showing up, doing their jobs, and treating people right. To the team here: I see you, I appreciate you, and I hope others do too. Average location. Not bad, but nothing above average either. It took a manager to understand I ordered ONE large sweet tea and ONE large cup of ice. That's requires 2 cups, capiche? Dining area & condiments bar were dirty and in disarray. (See pics) This location is inside, or attached to, a Love's Travel Center & Truck Stop. Typical laziness! 5:30 pm, start of the dinner rush and they've already run out of tea, taken the containers from the drink area and have no plans to make more. The biggest problem being you can still order it on the app, just to get there and find out they don't have any. Really pathetic. read more

Overall good place The staff is very bubbly, excitable, and young. Very attentive, and super nice. They got my food out quickly and efficiently, and it was all made correctly. Got away spending 12 bucks for a grilled chicken sandwich and a chili. Pretty empty in there a little chilly but otherwise decent place. read more

I frequent this Wendy's often. I've usually had good experiences in the past , but the last few visits were very disappointing to the point I will not return. They seem to ignore the counter for the one or 2 cars in the drive thru. When The counter person finally acknowledged me standing at the counter , she told me they were only making breakfast . This is a 24 hour Wendy's in a truck stop that serves the whole menu 24/7 and it was almost 10am. I've ordered lunch items at anytime previously. She seemed annoyed and dismissive when I told her that , and she told me your going to have to wait. . I told her it was fine. She then and got my order wrong and told me she couldn't change it. I didn't even pay yet , not a big deal , I wanted a large order and she put in a regular. It was more the annoyed attitude that was off putting than anything else . I told her I'm fine and Just left . Ordering off a simple menu shouldn't be a debate with an annoyed employee. I'll continue to frequent other Wendy's where I've always experienced excellent service , just not the Kirkwood NY location as this has become a regular occurrence there, another time waiting more than 10 minutes at the counter before being acknowledged by an annoyed employee who was chatting away about her personal life as she walked by me several times. I expect sometimes employees being a little frazzled during busy peak times , but these experiences have been during slow periods where there should have not been an issue. I'm a former restaurant owner and I'm glad I don't have to hire from today's labor force as courtesy and pride in your work has become a rarity. Dave Thomas created an iconic brand , but the founders key beliefs are severely lacking at this store. read more

Wendys is Wendy's wherever you go. This one was no different other than the fact we had to wait twenty minutes for our food. I can understand if it were busy but we were the only ones there. Once we got our food it was nice and hot and it really was fresh so I guess it was a trade off. This Wendy's was at a rest stop so I guess it may be a little different. read more

Located at the Loves Travel Stop, they have a nice layout and offer the typical Wendy's menu, including burger with complimentary lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Also available are garden fresh salads, chili, and one of my favorites - chili-cheese fries. Sweet and unsweet tea available. read more

So yesterday i stop in before work for just 1 breakfast sandwich, no potatoes, no drink, JUST 1 breakfast sandwich. I waited for (I wish I could make this up) 20 minutes, which in return made me late for work. Today I figured I'd go through the drive through and hope for a better experience this time. Not only did I wait 5 minutes for the girl to actually take my order of 1 breakfast sandwich and 1 potato. She was EXTREMELY rude over the mic and even when I finally pulled up. The girl snatched the card out of my hands. After waiting 5 minutes at the pick-up window she told me to park in the parking lot and she will bring it out to me. So I park my car, in the 10 minutes I waiting in the parking lot i notice that 2 other cars are also waiting for their food. FINALLY a girl walks out with my food and i drive off. On the road i notice they never gave me my potatoes i paid for, OR OFFER ME MY RECEIPT for that matter. Oh and I was late for work AGAIN because of them. I will NEVER go to that Wendy's again! If I could pick 0 stars I would. The only decent worker that actually apologized and was empathetic was Sarah. She was great, everyone else was rude, including what looked to me the manager. If you want Wendy's in the Binghamton area I recommend avoiding this one at night. Every time I stop here when the 3rd shift is working they provide old food and wrong times. I've honestly never received my order fresh or correct at night from this location. The location also has higher prices because its at a truck stop. I can't speak for any other time of day but avoid the place at night if you want fast food. read more

Imagine a cloud, but this cloud is filled not with moisture but with spicy chicken. Mhhhmm Now, onto the wrap! A fluffy yet tender breaded chicken cutlet snuggled gently inside a pillow, so to speak, of the finest tortilla known to man. Finally, Wendy's famous French fries. 72% of the French fries I consumed may only be described as "a heavenly marriage" of hot oil and potato seasoned lovingly with a pinch of the Atlantic oceans finest sea salt, cradled warmly in a box. The reason for the ominous lack of a fifth star is the ketchup. When I think of ketchup, I think of a parade of tomatoes mixed together by a hurricane. The ketchup was "off fleeck".
