This one is an old favorite from my college days. I'm pleased to report that it's even more delicious now than it was then! Great service and ambience as well.

Came here for lunch on a very cold Friday afternoon. We made reservations, don't think we'd have had a wait if we didn't, but it was fairly busy. I think dinner on a Friday or Saturday night would need a reservation, otherwise you're probably fine just walking in Considered a classic amongst students for a reason, and happy to say it lived up to my memory! As always went for the rigatoni ala vodka, which still has a comfortable place in my S tier of pasta dishes If you're a student or visiting Binghamton I'm sure you'll have plenty of people recommending you to come here, and it absolutely lives up to the hype

A good night and some great appetizers was on a business trip and wanted across the street. Sad thing was I lost my dog the day before so the last dog was my place to reflect.

While headed for points South, we consulted the Yelpverse for a place to stop for dinner in the Binghamton area and decided on the Lazy Dog. We ended up parking in the parking lot nearby, although it looks looks you can snag a parking space right out front if you're lucky. We arrived around 4pm (on a Friday) & were seated quickly - place was quite lively and at least 75% full from what I could tell. Very cool bohemian vibe for lack of a better description. We started off with Spinach & Artichoke Dip which was truly awesome.. which I correctly took as a harbinger of things to come! for entrees we selected Sesame Ginger Salmon and Greek Salmon - both were winners. Both of our salmon filets were perfectly cooked - great flavorings, too! We capped it off with Bread Pudding for dessert - maybe not the best of all time but more than adequate to close out dinner;) Pace of the service was perfect - would definitely stop here again if I find myself in town!

Arrived for a late lunch with a group of 5, was seated quickly and appetizers of Dumplings and Burrata came out quick. The lunch dishes took approximately 35 minutes to come out which was surprising for 1:30 pm. Overall the food was good!

Came here with a group of friends and had a great time. Friday night was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Service was prompt and friendly Atmosphere was welcoming, and the music was good. I had the Rigatoni ala Vodka with meatballs, and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend and I hope to come back soon.

Thanks to Sara B for this recommendation!!! Just loved our visit to Lost Dog for lunch. Cute, eclectic vibe with friendly service, was the perfect place for a delicious lunch. Street parking was easy at this time, but I'm sure it gets rough for evening time. The bf ordered the meatball Sammie and just loved it. Yummy meatballs in an amazing sauce on roll. I went with the tuna poke bowl. Phenomenal flavor and an extraordinary amount of tuna for the price. Tasted delicious, but as someone else mentioned, I would ask for a bit less of the sauce and spicy mayo...not enough for me to knock off a star given the taste and value of the bowl. No room for dessert and too early for the enticing cocktails... would love to return to try both!!! Maybe for my nieces graduation next year!!!

I attended Binghamton University over 20 years ago. Friends, family and I had eaten at the Lost Dog Cafe all those years ago. So when I decided to visit the area, I knew I wanted to reminisce by having a meal at the Lost Dog Cafe. The Lost Dog Cafe still has its eclectic and fun atmosphere. Saturday at lunchtime had a nicely filled restaurant, but you could still get a table and it wasn't overly crowded. The food is very good too. I really enjoyed the LDC Eggs Bennie and garlic broccoli. I thought the Steak Frites was a little pricey and the steak was a little chewier than I prefer. But otherwise, I'm very happy that The Lost Dog Cafe is doing well and I can't wait to visit again in 20 years.

We did a quick stop here for lunch on our way driving to Canada. The food was okay, not as great. Customer service was nice. There is street parking in front of the restaurant.

Came here twice for dinner while in town for a week. It was a larger group so we had to wait but they were very accommodating. The servers and staff were all top notch service and friendly. The menu offers quite the variety of options, and everyone I was with loved their food.

The vibe of this place is exactly what's needed in America. I wish there were more places like the Union Hotel. It looks so fun and funky, everything is clean and I'm being serious, it's clean! Fried cheese curds and fried pickles...if that's all we ordered we were already hooked! Then our wings came!!! Pry the sauces out of my hands, I had it on my face, up my arms, the wings were exactly what you beg for anywhere else!! A spiedie, (pronounced "speedy", ) famous in Binghamton, is simply a marinated chicken sandwich on a roll. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. I ordered a 6 inch sandwich. They have several different styles, but I simply went with the original. Oh, my, I can see why this sandwich has such a following. The sesame seed roll was tender, and oh the chicken... it was chock full of chicken, It was moist, it was tender, and yes, it was marinated very well. I don't know what they use, but it was just absolutely an amazing sandwich. A simple 6 inch sandwich, and I was stuffed. A sandwich and a soda, and I was 10 bucks and change out the door. Extremely reasonable. Thank you so much!

They are my personal favorite place in the area to get spiedies. They remodeled this old Pizza Hut building and moved across the parking lot into it a few years back, and their efforts definitely paid off. It can get quite busy in here, but the seating area is cozy, spacious, and comfortable enough to accommodate the traffic. Even when it is crazy busy, the staff does a wonderful job of keeping the line moving and getting your order to you in a timely manner. And the food is always delicious!
