My husband and I were traveling through and stopped for a quick bite at this location. The customer service was excellent and we recieved our food very quickly. The food quality was the best we have had at a Wendy's in a long time: hot, fresh, and delicious. My husband noted the bathrooms were also clean. We arrived as a family of 7 at 9:30pm, 30 minutes before closing. The employees had to have been looking forward to an easy end to the day, but that's not what they got. Unfortunately my adorable nephew was carsick from a long drive that day, and wound up spitting up on the floor. The staff was completely understanding, and promptly came out to clean it up, refused a tip, AND to make sure my nephew walked away happy, gave him and his brother a couple toys to boot! Driving from PA I needed a late morning cup of coffee. This Wendy's is right off the exit and very convenient for hop off/hop on highway access. We were too late for breakfast so along with coffees, I ordered fries. They were made fresh when we ordered and brought to our table. I'm not usually an eater of 'fast food'. However, we were on a schedule and needed to move along. There were a number of people in here, even at an 'off' time of day meeting up with friends. The staff were very nice, the restaurant and restrooms clean and the fries are very good. I would totally stop by here again. read more

Stopped for eat-in on a long drive from Cooperstown to central NJ. Restaurant was clean and somewhat busy. Counter staff was upbeat and efficient. We usually order "sandwich only" and add fries, no drink. I did that (10-piece Nuggets, Pretzel Burger, large fries), but remembered at the last minutes I needed a large coffee to refill my travel mug. Cashier, without asking, changed my "sandwich only" to a "large meal", and saved us some change. Order came out quickly, items were hot, fresh, and tasty. This is one of the few restaurants in Deposit. The high school had a play this night, so it was busy. The store seemed understaffed, and not prepared for the influx of customers. In lieu of this, sanitary procedures should still be upheld. I found 2 long blonde hairs in my salad. Additionally, the food was not fresh or satisfactory; the buns were stale, and there was barely any cheese on the Baconator Fries. After finding the hair, I drove back to rectify the situation. We were greeted by the manager, who was apologetic and asked for the salad back. She then asked if we would like another salad, and I conceded, yes. As the window was opening and she handed the salad to me in record time, and proceeded to offer a refund in addition to the salad. I gave it 1 star because you can't give 0 stars... Well since the country gave you the rights to freedom of speech... this place is the worst place to work... it may be owned by a descent company but the GM. Is only concerned about herself ... managers do not follow policy and procesures there, and when they do there called mean... the Gm sets forth company standards but don't follow it clearly ... they are all back stabbing... they talk about each other, there is so much drama in this place it's rediculous .. couple have been there for years not sure how... no one is happy working at this place clearly by what is said daily in this establishment... but coming from alittle town people have no where else to work close to home. So they hang on hoping for it to get better, it will never get better if they keep running this location like they are ... YOU CAN NOT TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU DO... you can't fire someone for doing there job and because certain team members don't want to do there jobs they get mad, or the fact that they walk out on there shift.. now that's grounds for dismissal but nothing is done.. few sit texting on there phones all day. Then touch food , cross contamination, you can not enforce policy and procedures when it's ok for one not to follow but others have too. It was never allowed for managers to have the volume on, on the floor now a few selected one have it on everyday nothing is said .. employees get injured on the job, they don't care... and at there neglect of knowing the equipment was damaged .. The Wendy's in Deposit NY is, by far, the worst Wendy's on planet Earth. I have gone to this particular Wendy's no less than 8 times over the years. I have been somehow disappointed in the food, my order accuracy, wait times, employee lack of performance and an inability to demonstrate any level of organization. It may be the best restaurant in Deposit, NY but that's not saying much. On the plus side it was very clean, the drive-thru and parking seemed efficiently laid out, the staff were friendly, and the piped in music was unobjectionable. But my grilled chicken sandwich seemed warmed over as the lettuce and tomato were wilted and it was really heavy on the sauce, enough that I was continually wiping my hands from the dripping. An unexpected, yet delightful surprise on a recent trip through central NY. The Wendy's in Deposit, NY ranks #3 in my personal ranking of Wendy's locations in New England (the Amherst, MA location was knocked out of the top 3 based on a recent experience with bad chili cheese fries). The service was lightening fast as the employees acted with the speed and precision of an F1 racing pit crew. The holiday decor and giving tree were simply delightful and brought the warmth of a spicy chicken sandwich to my heart. My one piece of disappointment was that the mustard I had heard rave reviews about was not to be found in squirtable form next to the ketchup. #condimentequality. read more

We tried to eat here tonight 11/4 unfortunately all of the help was to busy screwing around to wait on us. Then a worker complains about already telling a co-worker to wait on people. This Wendy's has really gotten better. It has new owners and a new manager. You can really tell they stepped up there game. They take credit card now "welcome to the 21st century" and rarely make mistakes at the window. The food has gotten better and faster. The only reason they lost a star is because they don't do all the promotions that every other Wendy's do. For example after 4pm kids meals are $1.99 but at this one you need to inform them of that. read more

Definitely the finest establishment in Deposit, NY. I stumbled upon this restaurant with my family of five on a Thursday evening and was pleasantly surprised to see they offer drive-thru services, or as I like to say- delivery! The lovely "waitress" who assisted us at the window was very attentive and helpful, answering any questions we had on the menu (good news- baked potatoes are available!). Unfortunately, we had a significant wait time but we were pleasantly surprised to see all five of our suppers were individually bagged, which made things much easier when we divided everything up while eating in the car in the parking lot. Big downside was that the staff was found smoking cigs in the back, including the manager. Perhaps management should review the break schedule to keep things moving in the kitchen. Also, fries really could have used a heavy serving of salt. Other than that, only positive praise coming for our car! We loved it to so much, we managed to circle through the drive-thru a total of five times, with our last run just to bid adieu to our new pals. Cheers! read more

Food tasted just like the other Wendy's restaurants, so that's good! It's easy to get here from the freeway, they've got a drive-thru and are open for breakfast. The restaurant is clean, employees are friendly and there's lots of parking, even for big rigs. read more
