Doordashed from here 30 minutes ago. I ordered a 10 piece nugget meal along with a 10 piece nugget by itself. Got the food, reached in and ate a nugget, two minutes later, my mouth was on fire. Why? I got SPICY nuggets instead of regular! I clearly ordered regular nuggets on the app, NOT spicy! Thanks Wendy's! I feel like shit now with a gurgling stomach. Do NOT order from this place. I know Wendy's catches hell with reviews sometimes, but my experience was so pleasant, I immediately told my coworkers (who I was with) I'd come here to give 5 stars. If Roland is working, your day will be made. Plain and simple. I've dealt with him at another eatery years ago, and he was just as delightful then. However, literally every single employee working lunch on Fri, 10/20/23, was very nice and helpful. They all had smiles and genuinely looked to be enjoying working with each other. I eat fast food very little, and it made one of my rare visits enjoyable. I do not know any of the workers personally, and I hope the manager sees this because job well done with that crew. I understand that you are a chain franchise but come on! You spend all this money on a renovation and the TVs are busted, the place is filthy and the help is nonexistent. Why have to fountain drink dispensers if you can't keep them working? At least keep them clean. I do feel bad for the management because the locals that make up the work force suck! Noticed I haven't even discussed the food?? Well that sucked too. Fries under cooked, no salt and even after they come out the fryer they seemed to get cold in an instant. Burgers dry and over cooked, buns were stale and hard. It's a bummer but no wonder that places like 5 Guys is blowing there old chains out of the water. To much spent on gimmicks and flashy advertising but not enough on quality. I miss the hot and juice burgers they churned out back in the day. read more

Second time here the food was fresh and warm, but they messed up my order both times and the service "professional" was not friendly at all.

Again, how do you write a review for a fast food place? If you come here expecting gourmet, you will be disappointed. The fries are cold sometimes, and the service is slow. Sometimes the people at the register are confused, and they get things wrong. But geez, at this location, they try to be polite and the restaurant is clean. Half the time the employees act like you're bothering them by being there and the last 3 times i ordered they completely ignored the no tomatoes extra cheese but made sure to charge me for it. HORRIBLE! At the drive thru I ordered 2 sandwiches and a drink. The order came up wrong on the screen and I asked the employee to correct it. He got rude and said "I told you I will change it after you finish." He was very sarcastic. It never changed on the screen so I pulled forward. He told me my total was $17 something. I thought that was really high for two sandwiches and a soda, but figured I would just check the receipt before asking about it. The employee gave me my order but no receipt so I asked if I could get one. He told me I couldn't because the machine wasn't printing receipts but he would take a photo of the total if I let him use my phone. So now I have no receipt with the manager name, store number, transaction number. Nothing. My sandwich order was correct, but there were fries and two bbq packets in my bag which I did not order, but I'm guessing I got charged for. I will never return to this location again. read more

This Wendy's rarely has what is on the menu. No beverages besides water tonight. My salad was wilted turning brownish and red on the lettuce. They slapped a glob of blue cheese on it and didn't even offer salad dressing options. It does not help to hear cursing at the drive thru when you are getting your order. as with any other local fast food place, this location bites! the two stars comes only from the fact that they have one of those drink machines that gives you umpteen billion flavor combos. my personal fav is diet vanilla cherry coke. the other reason they get the extra star is they usually have fresh salads. however, on two occasions in a row they were out of the dressing that comes with the salad. they fail to mention that until the salad is made and being handed to me. the problem with that is, it's an asian salad and they expect me to put random dressings like ranch, italian, honey mustard, etc. on it. um, i ordered the asian salad because i like the mix of what's in it with the dressing. i wouldn't mind that yall are out of the dressing if you would let me know before and give me the option to re-evaluate what i want to eat. the first time this happened i told them i did not want the salad and the employee got angry with me. i'm sorry, but you're giving me something other that what i order, i don't believe you have the right to be angry with me. might i also add that while i was being showed all the salad dressings they do have several were dropped on the floor and put back in the cooler. so, please wipe them before using!! other things to note are that the employees are generally unfriendly and rude. most times i go in there the employees are arguing and yelling at each other. other times, they are too busy goofing off with each other to notice you. there is one employee there, i wish i knew her name, who is extremely nice and helpful. i wish she did more than just hand me my food. let's put her on a register helping people! also, the inside is fairly clean except by the drink machines. they could use a little attention. honestly, i'm sure the only reason any fast food in the boutte/luling locations are open is because there's just no where else to go when people need something on their lunch break! read more

Never had my order messed up and the workers are always very nice. Only complaint is they often are out of several menu items.

Disappointing experience at the Boutte location. I ordered a Baja Chile Salad that supposed to have green lettuce, chili, guacamole, pico de gallo, and crisp tortilla strips. Lettuce was white, chili was lukewarm, small amount of guacamole, and NO tortilla chips..."dey ran out." Partner ordered a hamburger that was just okay, and commented that it was not good as before. The only thing good was the chocolate frosty. It will be a long while before we dine here again, if ever. This Wendy's was empty at dinner time, but the Popeye's Fried Chicken across the street was busy. The parking lot was full and cars were going in and out the drive through. Was it by chance or did they know Popeye's was better than Wendy's? read more

There should be a special 0 star designation for this location. It's fast food and a chains it isn't like I'm going to review their food, so it all comes down to service. What a joke. They begin running out of ALL their food 2 hours before they actually close, and that's simply because they are lazy and management lets them get away with starting the closing procedure at 8PM. They're rude, they mumble, they get your order wrong even if they do decide to provide you their full menu. This place would be closed if it wasn't one of 3 fast food options in the area. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! It literally takes 15 mins to get your food if you're going through drive thru! Plus the night crew on a Monday night looks like they don't what they hell they're doing. First, my boyfriend ordered two 4 for $4 meals, ONE Bacon Cheeseburger (with fries, nuggets & a drink) & ONE Jr Bacon Cheeseburger (with fries, nuggets & a drink). When he got the order, he received the order with TWO extra burgers! One was a Bacon Cheeseburger & the other was a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger with NO straws for the drinks! I took notice of this after we pulled off & was halfway home. For one order, he was given an extra nugget when he was only supposed to have 4 nuggets for each order, which I'm not complaining. HOW CAN YOU DRINK SOMETHING WITHOUT A STRAW?? Luckily I had a few extra straws at home. Not to mention, the pink lemonade isn't as sweet as it was a few months ago. I've frequented this location because it is the most convenient food on my commute to work, but this is only true if geographical location is the sole arbiter of convenience. Beyond that, there is little to recommend this location, other than the fancy soda-fountain with 538 possible flavor selections. Of course, at least one of the two fountains is invariably out of order, and the functional fountain will often be out of popular flavors. Bear in mind that this review is coming from a frequent Wendy's patron. The chain is by far my preference for quick service dining. On my most recent visit, I went through the drive through with my wife. About half of my visits involve the drive through. On this particular occasion, there was one car in front of me at the speaker, and none visible ahead of it. I waited approximately 5 minutes for that car to place its order, then I sat at the speaker with my window down for over 7 minutes, and the first words said to me were, "go ahead with your order." I ordered a #2 meal for myself, large chili instead of fries, and a bottled water. For my wife, a #6 meal, chili instead of fries, and a bottle of water. I noticed that the display said "small chili" with the #2 meal, so I pointed out that I had asked for a large chili, to which the employee responded, "It only comes in small." Now, the menu clearly advertises both the small chili and the large chili, but I decided to give this employee the benefit of the doubt and assume that she meant, "only a small chili can be substituted for fries." Then I tried to forget all of the other times, at other locations, that I've substituted a large chili for the fries. I reached the window, and the employee opened it, saying, "$15.16." I handed her my debit card, and she closed the window. A moment later she opened it again and handed me a bag. "That's your chili." The window closed, then opened again. As she handed me the bag with my sandwiches in it, she said, "we don't got any crackers." "That's fine." I said, and drove away once she handed me back my debit card. About five minutes later I opened my small chili, only to find that it was actually an extra-small, since she had only bothered to fill it up about halfway. In case you weren't keeping track, all of the words that she said to me were: "Go ahead with your order" "Will that complete your order?" "Will that complete your order?" "It only comes in small." "$15.16" "$15.16" "That's your chili." "We don't got any crackers." "Your welcome." This was easily my worst experience at this location, but it was not terribly atypical. You will almost always wait a long time, feel like the employees resent having to serve you, and have slightly below average food for Wendy's. read more
