This is a better Wendy's than people make it out to be, and doesn't deserve the one star reviews. The food here is consistently good and comes out on time. And the value for your money is excellent as well. I have gotten the double stack on multiple occasions here, and it always comes out good. The fries are warm and crisp, the perk of a freestyle machine is great, and beef quality of Wendy's double cheeseburgers blows out McDonald's in almost every department. Additionally, the employees here are very nice and hardworking. The manager here is very friendly and cooperative. If I were to deduct a star for anything, it would be the floor cleanliness. The floors in this establishment are a bit sticky at times. But everything else here is great. read more

The worst fast food place in CT. Even at non peak hours you'll be lucky to get your food from the drive thru in under 30 minutes. If you go during lunch or dinner times expect an hour wait for the drive thru if you can even get in. When the line of cars gets too long it's impossible to even get in the parking lot and the line starts spilling into the intersection of a main road. If you're lucky enough to get inside the employees will ignore you while they gossip about personal problems and complain about how they don't like thier jobs. I deliver with GrubHub and this is the only restaurant I decline orders from. There have been multiple times where I can see the completed order behind the counter but the employees ignore me making the delivery take 10 to 20 minutes longer than it could have been. There was an employee standing at the counter that wouldn't even look at me when I was trying to ask about an order I was picking up. I put my phone on the counter so they could see the name and they just walked away. I ended up standing around in the store for 10 more minutes for an order that was already done. This has happened more than once. It would be better if this location was shut down. I care about this store the same amount that the employees care about their jobs. read more

OK, since my last reviews, a new, better manager has taken over, even the employees are happy. Much better after 11:00PM now, all the way to closing at 2:00AM. "NEVER get fries at a Wendy's though. Wendy's coffee is much better than the other quick food establishments! Their "Frosty" is good and creamy, I love the "Spicy Chicken" sandwich. The staff is great and go out of their way to satisfy the customer. They make an extra pot of coffee for me sometimes when it is close to closing and the pot is empty. read more

This Wendy's is atrocious. Today there was food strewn under almost every table and many of the tables were smeared with grease and condiments. The trash bin was overflowing with trash. There were almost no customers and lots of workers so clearly they were not properly deployed by management. Food is good, some days are better than others, but good; however, the disorganization at this location had been pretty significant my last couple visits: long waits, wrong order at pickup window and having to double/triple check my order, sometimes them not knowing what I ordered from 2 or even 3 employees. I went there last night, ordered several items, most importantly ordered a cod sandwich and 2 doubles, which showed up on the screen, and I paid for it. They gave me a cod sandwich, a triple, and a Jr bacon cheeseburger, of course I realized this after I got home. I've seen newer people there with every visit, and suggest to the manager, he/she needs to take more time to do a better job training his/her employees to be able to handle and organize orders when there is a queue of cars at the drive thru. I have been going to this Wendy's since it opened and have had no problems until the past month. Each time I have gone through the drive thru, day and night, I have had to wait a very long time, and they have gotten my order wrong each time. Last week, I sat in the drive thru (after ordering) for 20 minutes (there were only 2 cars ahead of me) and 10 minutes prior to ordering. They finally made the guy in front of me pull up so they could bring his food out to him. After sitting another 10 minutes in front of the last window, they hand me the wrong order- the fries are wrong, I hand it back to them. Then after another 5 minutes they hand me my order again. I decide to check the sandwich. They gave me a baconator when I ordered a chicken sandwich. I give it back to them. Then they give me the right order. Mind you, the car in front of me is still waiting to get their order. They finally get theirs and when I go to pull out, they started reversing because their order was wrong. I go again this evening and order an asiago ranch homestyle chicken sandwich. I got through the drive thru in 3 minutes. Awesome! But I forgot to check my order. I get home, and open my bag to find a grilled chicken sandwich with poblano cheese and salsa on it. Not what I ordered and not something I would ever order. I called and the manager told me to come in tomorrow for a new sandwich. We'll see. I don't know what is going on there this month, but the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I was so happy when I heard they were opening a Wendy's in the area. There hasn't been one around since back in the 80's downtown. Sadly, I haven't been there once and not had my order messed up. My last visit, and I mean my last visit was last week. Stopped for a burger and asked for mayo and ketchup, got a burger with everything EXCEPT mayo and ketchup. Last visit I wanted a baked potato. I happen to like this Wendy's. It is your typical fast food place. I have never had a problem with my food at this location. I just went there today for a chili salad. It was delicious. Everyone's order was correct and freshly made. I recommend this Wendy's location for a quick lunch. read more

From the outside this Wendy's looks good. One of the more up to date establishments. This place turns bad once it gets to the late night shift. Sorry to snitch on y'all but if you have not noticed your line of cars stretching down orland street due to the lack of speed is bad.
