The ribs looked like competition BBQ, but flavor-wise they mainly introduced me to black pepper and then left the conversation. Sides review: the twice baked potatoes were seasoned well and definitely pulled their weight. The mac and cheese was okay--nothing offensive, nothing life-changing, just there for moral support. That was a miss, especially since that's something we were looking forward to trying. That said, the burgers absolutely made up for it. Both were cooked right and had great flavor. Solid, well-done burgers that hit the mark. No complaints there. We also grabbed a blueberry cheesecake to go, which turned out to be a great call. It was rich, flavorful, and a good way to finish things off. Service hiccup aside, the food quality, at least on the burgers and dessert, was strong. We had a great time dining, conversing and watch the river lazily flow by. The river in the park is very interesting, if you watch it carefully, you'll notice it changes flow when they open the flood gates.
