I stopped by here and placed a mobile order at 11:52pm for a 6 ct nuggets, jr bacon cheese burger, and zero sugar tea while on my way home. I went to the drive thru. There was no line. The lady at the window was nice and there was a short wait for my food. Some of my nuggets were overcooked and my bacon wasn't crispy enough. I love their nuggets, so that was disappointing. I used to love Wendy's. This particular wendy's has had lousy service for years, and issues with cold food, and missing items from the order. Last night was the last straw. They were not very busy, a few diners in the restaurant and a few cars. A young man took my order and I pulled around to pay at the window. He said my order was delayed and to pull up and wait. There were two cars waiting and no new customers. everyone was served, and there I sat waiting.... They simply forgot me. I was about to go in, when I see the manager and employee having a freindy chat. I gave them the death stare, and they finally relized what they had done. They appologized a hundred times. I did not check my order because I was done with them, It was there, but all cold, as it was sitting there the whole time. I could not even eat my food. Goodbye Wendy's! This was not one of the better Wendy's. Upon walking in, the manager was trying to straighten out a customer order gone wrong and other customers were bringing burgers that weren't right back. My burger was not quite right. I didn't mind since they put lettuce, tomato and onion on a burger that doesn't usually have all that. All I all the food tasted okay snd the temperature was good. They had folks cleaning up as people left snd the store was clean, as were the bathrooms. This was one of the last stops before the airport so we stopped here. read more

I am an African American and I am an Architectural Designer by trade. I go into the restaurant a lot normally order the same thing. I pay for my food with a card most of the time. The staff is usually pretty nice with the acception of one individual. Today, she boldly told me her name when I very nicely mentioned that I was going to make this review. Her name is Caroleena. She always speaks to me in a sort of racist and condescending manor. I don't know if it is my appearance, or if she thinks I want something for free. That's what she seems to insinuate with her mannerisms. Today I asked for a senior coffee and was willing to pay, though normally it is free with the meal. She quickly said in a very nasty manner that I had to order something. I then told her that I had already eaten. She got a very nasty attitude and said that it would be $1.49. I know the price, because I've paid for it several times before. I was very turned off and told her that though I have plenty of money, that I did not want it because of the way that I had been treated and talked to by her in this manner. She did say she was a Manager. In my opinion, she seems to be somewhat prejudice, with very condescending disposition, a terrible attitude, and extremely unprofessional. Stopped here on way back from Morehead city. The cashier was the best part of the visit, and the best employee there. Some street bum wearing a wendy's t-shirt came up behind us while we were placing our order. He may have been an employee. Not sure. He was looking at the credit card reader for some reason. His britches were down below his butt with plenty of underwater showing. Was wearing a toboggan and black gang coat, and yes, a black wendy's t-shirt, which looked questionable also. The man at the make-up bar had a headfull of dred locks with no hair netting. Some little Asian lady came in while we were eating and pltched a bloody fit about that. Meanwhile, the bum had left and I asked the nice cashier if he was an employee and was advised he was. The bum guy returned, went to the rr, started serving in the kit without washing hands or hair netting. The Asian lady continued to raise hell about that. The food was marginal in quality and the drinks tasted watered down. The guy with the waist long dread locks went to the rest room, removed and put his t shirt back on over dread locks being stuffed down back in shirt collar. Still no hair netting anywhere in store. Short Asian lady now at drive through again raising hell. Bad, bad scene. Time to leave. Wewill not be back! read more

Stopped here for a road trip break on the way to Raleigh/Durham area. The staff was friendly and the Wendy's wasn't at all that busy. Maybe because its a little offset from the main road (hard to see). I had to make a U-Turn to come back around and find it, but it definitely is an older location, but the dining room was kept tidy (new isn't always better). The chicken sandwich I got was made fresh and hit the spot. I end up getting a ton of fast food when I'm on the road so I do appreciate when the food is made fresh. Coke dream machine at this location so pick the soda of your choice/ customize it. I know Wendy's has their own Dave's flavors, but I was meeting some people for an interview so I didn't want to have to excuse myself if the soda didn't agree with me. read more

The ghost pepper chicken sandwich has been amazing here everytime. The baconators/son of baconator are always crappy and have barely any bacon, don't get them here. They always talk to you like they are in a bit of a rush even when there is no other cars there. Fries are decent here. At least they usually always get the orders right. Came to almost $20. Got home and only had a partially wrapped burger thrown in the bag with cold fries; no chicken sandwich; did get the frosty. Fuming . . . went back and spoke with the manager who agreed to give me the money back for the food but not the frosty. His 3 little stoner henchmen giggled and watched the interaction. We come here a lot, more often that we'd like to admit, the food is normally really good, the service, though often slow, is adequate. Tonight we had our worst servicing yet. When we pulled up to order, we could hear music in the background, had to repeat ourselves many times while at the speaker, then pulled up to the window, and had to repeat almost our whole order. The server wasn't very respectful, and gave us attitude though we had done nothing but patiently order food, politely repeating ourselves, even as the music continued to blare. The server didn't bother to turn it down when we got to the window, used short language, and when giving us our food, didn't say a word, slammed the window door closed so hard it opened back up, but didn't give us our full order. When we honked the horn she came back obviously annoyed, and we asked for the remainder of our order, she still didn't reply, grabbed it, handed it to us, then proceeded to slam the door again, and we left with our food, but a spoiled mood as well. read more

TERRIBLE!! The Cashier could not hear and kept ringing up wrong items. The ketchup was out and my some asked for packets and they gave him HOT SAUCE! I had to ask for my cups and they asked to see my receipt...I am dining in and have not moved...really?!?!? This is the WORST Wendy's I have ever been in. Has anyone ever seen the episode of Chapelle Shows "pop copy"? In this hilarious episode the employees of a printing company give customers the worst service they could possibly give them on purpose. This is basically what it feels like going to this Wendy's! It's almost as if the employees know they are giving horrible service and they don't care one bit. This place should just go out of business already and stop giving Wendy's a bad rep. Honestly this Wendy's is slow, the food always is cold. The fries even when fresh taste horrible. Almost like they never have changed the oil since the place opened. The only reason I ever stop here is because I've just neglected eating and tell myself "maybe they've gotten their crap together". Needless to say every time I'm wrong. We used to go here regularly and it was a 3 or 4 star place. Went there recently and the reviews below are right. Went inside, wanted to eat in. Ordered #1 full meal and #2 sandwich only. Fries were on the tray quickly but no sandwiches. Then they took the tray away and set it on the fry station. After ten minutes or so one sandwich was put on it and they offered it to me. I pointed out two sandwiches were ordered; I should have been more specific. After some more minutes they gave me another sandwich; took tray to table. Both sandwiches were #1. Took one back; in only a few minutes they gave me the right sandwich. The staff must lack training. I hate to see the place become useless but I cannot see us going back there for a long time or till I see some good reviews. read more

I walked in and the manager kicked me out. She said that the door should have been locked and that they are understaffed on Sunday. There was no sign on the door, but she escorted me and my six year old out. Then, they screwed up my order. The same manager claimed that it was my fault that they screwed up my order. Wendy's food has gotten better over the years, I'm not just lowering my standards. Their spicy chicken sandwich is solid. They've got some solid sides besides fries: salad, chili, baked potato, but not here sweet potatoes. Their chicken salad is good cause the chicken comes out hot. Can't beat that. I just had an exceptionally high level of good service from a most unexpected place. It was mostly the gentleman working the register, and also very graciously cleaning up the spill that happened at the table next to mine. He was Very genuine and great about it, without the usual grit teeth and fake commentary. Is this still North Carolina? I know... It's just a fast food joint. I stopped here once before, about a year ago, and was not very impressed with anything other than they actually got the right stuff I ordered into the bag, and out the drive through Windows, and to me, the correct person. But otherwise, the service was 2 stars, at best. One employee (and a Jalapeño Cheddar burger on special) has turned this place around in my eyes. Even the parking lot is clean. Someone spent a lot of money making this Wendy's look less depressing, but the employees didn't get the memo. It used to be dark and drab, so they put in some lights and a new coke machine. Don't bother going inside, the staff don't want to take your order. The line is perpetually long but the drive through is always moving. Getting back onto the highway from here is impossible because of Chapel Hill's terrible street layout. read more

I have visited the place 3 times. The problems: can't keep up with demand, smells unpleasant inside, lacks order accuracy. On one day, when it was lunchtime, they couldn't keep up with the orders. Many people drive away because it takes too long. The person taking orders sounded disgruntled as well. On a separate day, I ordered two shakes and two single burgers. They gave me the burgers (which were cold after 10 mins) and one shake. When I asked for the other one, they handed it to me without an apology. Every time i go here its a problem. Either they make the food wrong give me the wrong food or their rude. Your lucky if you even get a response when you pull up to the drive through. Its almost as if they want to see how bad you want food and if you'll wait for it. I try very hard not to go to this wendys. Wish I could give this restaurant a zero. Not really sure where to start. There was no one else in the restaurant and I waited several minutes after ordering, at least four minutes to get a cup. Took 4 minutes or more to get my order only after an older employee stepped in front of me again I'm the only one in there and grabbed my bag and walked off. She proceeded to clean some restaurant booths and seats along with my order. The girl at the counter freaked out of it looked at her knowing what happened and ordered me another meal. The burger was fine even though it didn't have all of the accoutrements as described. The fries were disgusting to be honest. The top three fries were hot. The bottom ones and all of the rest of them were cold and floppy and none of them had an ounce of sea salt on them. I still have those in my car and I'm going to present them just someone that this a restaurant preferably above the idiots at the store. I will never come back. Avoid avoid avoid Oh and by the way. My family jokes that this has to be the worst Wendy's in the franchise. The drive-thru staff is never courteous, however it's gotten better in the past month or so. Good crop of new hires, I'm sure! But our main issue is that 50% of the time, our order is wrong. We have to park, pull everything out of the bag, and check... every single time. So frustrating. read more

I've frequented this Wendy's multiple times and it always has been "acceptable". Nothing special but not really anything above or below my expectations. That was until June 8th, 2018. Apparently this location has had some bug issues that week, I normally order drive-thru but that evening I decided to eat in. Ordered a 4 for $4 meal without issue and everything was going well, right up until the one thing that forces me to give this place one star. I was sitting in just about finished with my food when the cashier waddles from the register over to the drink machine and unloads a massive spray can of bug spray. I'm not exaggerating, she literally sprayed the whole can of bug spray over the drink machine. My appetite was gone, I'm never returning to that Wendy's. read more
