Service here is usually very slow and some employees are friendly and some not at all. I wasn't planning to do a review but I just tried their new breakfast today. I had the maple bacon chicken croissant (forgot to take a pic) and the seasoned potatoes. We waited 12 minutes for our food with no one else in the restaurant. The sandwich I got was good but not as good as I was hoping. The seasoned potatoes are a 5, soooo good! I hate hash browns because they hold so much grease so this is a nice option compared to other places. read more

Stopped by Wendy's with our soccer team. I went in before they saw the bus to tell them there was only 15 kids on it so they wouldn't panic. As I walked in one employee was yelling at the other to lock the door and tossed her the keys. As she was running...and I do mean running...to lock the door I spoke up and told her there was only 15 kids on the bus. She began to tell me how busy they were and how long it would take to serve us because they had 3 cars in the drive thru. The players began to come in and I told them we weren't wanted there and we left. We went to the nearby McDonalds and they were happy to serve us and also served another bus that came in behind us. Both restaurants were under staffed but the McDonalds employees were gracious and very happy to accommodate us and we were happy to wait a little longer to get our food. read more

Burger was dry. Place seemed dirty. Service was ok because the place was almost deserted. Fries were the only good thing.

I visited this WENDYS location And my order was taken by Erica And the rest of management team, they seemed too be very much unprofessional and unorganized. My husband and I were not greeted or acknowledged by them for about almost 10 minutes standing directly in front of them. They finally asked what do you want? Instead of the traditional greeting" Welcome too Wendy's" at the least! Anyhow I proceeded to recite my order and they were all sorts of misconstrued. Definitely lacking customer service and order in this establishment. However, I remained respectful and even friendly, despite how I was being treated. Also unhappy about the service my husband and I were receiving. After 20 minutes of leaving the establishment I decided to put the remaining Berry drink from my husbands , into cup too mine. Upon opening the lid I saw a dead bug, a fly inside. After my husband expressed how angry and disgusting he was, as well as me with the findings. I contacted the establishment too notify them of my findings. I Asked to speak too a manager and after she listening ,she than said hold on. While on hold, I heard them laughing in the background. The general manager came on the line and Was FAR from remorseful, and very nonchalant. Instead of apologizing and trying too aid the situation . She insinuated that it was not from her establishment by saying"that it's not possible because the cups are turned over and it couldn't of gotten in the drink from the machine ". So I asked her, what do you think happened than? . It is not my job too find out how it got there , it's your job too investigate. I told her well it got in there because it is in my drink and is still there and can bring it in to show her. She was being very unprofessional at this point and what I do believe racist because she knows who I am from just leaving the store shortly after this. I even asked her for a refund in which she said she cannot do.I asked her , her name and number for corporate and she rudely told me that the corporate number is the back of my receipt. I asked her many times for her name and she would ignore me and tell me no or tell me too contact corporate . She also hung up the phone on me and after calling back asking if she did, she said I told you too contact the number for corporate, I found this amusing at this point that a general manager would act in this way. I work in customer service and also run a store of my own ( not fast food) and I WOULD HAVE NEVER HANDLE A CUSTOMER OR SITUATION IN SUCH DISRESPECTFUL, unprofessionalism as she did. I will no longer eat at Wendy's and will use my platform too discuss the important of good management and customer skills as well as being sanitary in the work place . My question is who hired her and also only God knows how many flies my husband digested! We do not go out to eat very often due to fast food not being healthy, but sometimes it is unavoidable due to the rush of life. In the 3 times since shutdown (March) that we have gone to this location, they have gotten our order wrong 2 of the times. The service is slow as well. I have worked in the fast food industry for 7 years and there was always a bagger who placed the food in the bag(s) and the person who passes out the food who also checks to make sure all the items are in the bag(s). Not at this store. Very disappointed and we will never go to this branch again. I don't care if it is fast food, there still needs to be quality with the service. read more

I used to LOVE Wendy's! Their square burgers, 99 cents value menu and Frosty's are among some of my fave's. They switched their fries to the new 'sea salt' and I haven't been able to enjoy their fries as much. Some have loved it but I miss the old school fries. Frosty's are still king on a hot summer day as well as their push for healthier food. Keep it up! read more

So, I just waited in line for 20 mins behind three other cars that did not budge the whole time.... I get my order finally and the fries and chicken nuggets are cold which I doesn't make sense to me because if I just waited 20 mins it seems like they had all the time in the world to be making hot fries and nuggets... not to mention I ordered a southwest avocado salad as well.... but it had no avocado. Run away from this one folks. Takes for ever to order and receive food. The screwed up multiple orders. They let a guy in the kitchen take a break while it was really busy. He ordered his meal and received it while customers were waiting. They weren't happy with the preferential treatment. While I was waiting on them to correct my order, I spoke to a lady next to me who said she used to work for the health department and just bit into an undercooked burger. This is the absolute worst Wendys. The district manager is the most unprofessional ruthless rude uncaring person there is...the manager is not much better. You see I have a 19 yr old responsible girl that is going to college full time for criminal psychology and working very hard at it. She informed them she was taking on another job to help pay for her car she had purchased. The next week they gave her 8 hrs. Then my daughter gave her 2 wks notice.Instead of working with her on her hours as she tried to make them understand she needed her job they let her go. I went to the drive thru today and ordered a cheeseburger with just ketchup and a value fries. A whopping $2.91. I could not eat the fries because of the amount of salt. The cheeseburger was cold and RAW! The meat was actually BRIGHT PINK ALL ON THE INSIDE!!! I am not sure it was even put on the grill. I will not go back to this Wendy's. read more

This particular Wendy's has real issues with drive thru orders. I live nearby, and despite better judgment, will stop here on my way home from work. The folks who work the drive thru are pretty consistently rude. The most frustrating thing is they always leave items out of the bag, requiring a visit inside, defeating the purpose of drive thru. In my latest visit, I ordered a combo, a small chili, sour cream and chive potato, and 4 piece nuggets. Upon inspection as I pulled off, I was missing my fries, sour cream, and straw for my drink. I had to go inside, and the employees working inside were completely unapologetic. After getting home, the food was cold, and was probably that way before it was given to me. Just poor all around. This is almost every other experience I have here. The only positive is the convenience due to the location. I hope this place improves. read more

The quality of this Wendy's has slowly declined. Today I was waiting in line and noticed that they had messed up all of the orders of the people that had ordered before me. I was still waiting and had not ordered yet. There was no sense of urgency or care by any of the employees or management. There were still 3 orders to be placed before I would be waited on so I decided to leave instead of continuing to wait. This is for the Wendy's drive-thru on N Franklin Street in Christiansburg, Va. I could not get it to pull up on Yelp. I went to the drive thru on 10-21-16 a Friday night. The cashier ask me what I wanted, I ask for a taco salad and large coke. Note I have not been to this drive thru or to eat inside for over a year due to the nasty customer service. After I paid at the first window I went to the second window to pick up my food, the guy said we don't have salsa for the the salad or the correct chips. We had to go buy them and put them in baggies. I said that's ok just give me an extra regular sour cream. He said that's find then he smarted off and said it's not like you can't go get a taco salad some where else. I said you should have told me when I ordered you didn't have the correct items to make a taco salad and I could have drove off. But true to form the Wendy's on N Franklin Street in Christiansburg, VA, has the worst customer service besides Walmart and Krogers on S Main Street in Blacksburg, Va. Then they gave me light sour cream, so I went in and the manager wanted to argue with me that they always had light sour cream. I told him that was not true and then he said or for at least a year.
