Old school drive up hotdog and hamburger joint. I was in the area for business and decided to drop in after seeing the reviews. You pull up and it's curbside service. They literally come up to your car, take your order, and bring your food back. I loved the old school feel. It took no time for my food to arrive-about 7 minutes. I got a burger, onion rings, and a hotdog all the way. The onion rings were fresh, hot, and had the perfect amount of salt. The burger was well seasoned, had that crisp, grilled taste. I gave two stars instead of 1 because of the beautiful woman that initially came to out car. She was sweet, kind and patient!! We ordered 3 sandwiches. One being a hotdog that we asked to have cut in half for sharing. They literally cut the dog into two, directly down the center. I had to split the hot with my fingers! They missed my onions. My friends toasted ham, cheese and egg was so salty (that's not good ham for cooking) ... We asked for nothing else om the sandwich. We had to pick off the lettuce and tomato. My friend has an allergy to tomatoes. I knew my burger would be better than the rest of the food ... NOPE. Frozen Patty! Salty and Groce. Most of the "food" went to the trash. This is a nice, cheap stop. The service was really quick and the lady who assisted us was really friendly. We got a dude burger, cheeseburger, onion rings, fries & and soda all for $21. Can't beat it for the quality as opposed to what you'd find for the same price as one of the fast food joints nearby. I would do without the fries next time - but that's the only thing I felt weren't great. They weren't bad either, just nothing special. The onion rings are a must have. Barely got my car in park and the waitress was there to take my order. Food (enough for five) was out in less than ten minutes. Food tasted great, fresh, obviously fried but not greasy. It will be a regular stop for us! Outside of building and picnic area was immaculate. read more

This is always the best place to go! They are quick, and the food is excellent! Their fries, thick crinkle fries and so good! The service is always excellent, and you can get in and out of there pretty quickly. It's a great place to go for lunch. You have plenty of time to order, eat, pay, and leave, within a half hour to 45 minutes. The prices are very fair, and you are always treated like a valuable customer. I was a little thrown off by the rules of ordering, but turned to be a decent burger.

$24 for 2 small cheeseburgers and 2 small fries and 2 small drinks is kinda ridiculous, food was mediocre but made a turd, but economy at a all time high of greed so not surprised. Service was good though atleast they have 2 pretty ladies to look at. Overall give it 2.5-3 stars read more

Nostalgia is what comes to mind when I think of my experience at Dude's. They have carhops who come right to your vehicle in the parking lot to take your order. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple, plus the prices are rather reasonable. The food is hot and fresh when brought to your car, it simply lacked seasoning. A little salt goes a long way. The waitress brought out the food in a paper sack, which was good. But the drinks were what I had issue with. One was in her hand, which was cool, but the other was kind of snugged up against her chest/tucked in the crook of her arm. This where I think they would benefit from using trays/baskets/drink carriers to transport the food from inside to the cars. Just a suggestion. read more

Not sure what the fuss is about. Maybe things have changed since the price of beef is so high, really high. Everything tasted fine, nothing to write home about. I just got the basic burger not the dude burger so maybe that's where I went wrong. The beef didn't taste much different than McDonald's the fries I can make at home, I guess it was convenient that they walk up to you instead of you driving through the drive-thru. I pass through on the regular, Don't see any reason to stop again. Parking was decent since I'm between lunch and dinner but I can see where it would be a problem. Popped by with my husband before a drive-in show a few Fridays ago. The Dude burgers are fresh ground beef made to order, I believe. For a quick service restaurant, I thought it was beyond excellent! I used to love this place but the quality has gone down so much. The buns are so soggy and the meat is very pink to the point I was d armed to eat it. The lettuce and tomato were old and mushy. The gator tots were barely cooked and not crispy at all. So bummed! The service is not great. I used to love the food so much!! read more
