Like the location.. right before you enter GSP . There are few restaurants in this road .. tried Wendy's for a quick sandwich. They have some parking in the front and rear , but I went drive through. They have a clear menu card at the entrance . Drive through was pretty quick . I ordered a sandwich and it was ready in less than a minute . Taste was ok. They put like onion rings on the sandwich , which was a bit oily. Could have avoided that. Otherwise the sandwich itself was tasty and ok for once in a month type of lunch . Costed less than 10$ . Great food. Great service. I went to this location around 9 pm on a Tuesday. The Dave's Double was made superbly; it's a solid great tasting burger. The pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger was made well also. The staff was friendly. I think this type of service should serve as a model for other locations. read more

I'm a creature of habit sometimes, this drive-thru is one of my favorites when I'm not feeling too well. Comfort food for sure! I go for the spicy chicken sandwich when I come here. I love the crispy spicy chicken sandwich because it gives me just enough kick and the Mayo with tomato compliments it to cool it down. I often get the fries here and just go straight for the sandwich. It's just a simple meal requests and something easy to grab when I'm not feeling great. The drive-thru here is always super quick and actually this Wendy's was completely redone so the inside is really nice. There is this fake fireplace inside and new wood panels throughout. There are some nice seats and new little booths as well. The custom soda machine and the nice Ambience inside it's not that bad when you want to sit inside with some fast food. Got accused of cutting in the drive thru line (Clark, NJ store) by people who weren't even in line when I pulled in from the school street driveway. If this place was efficient and kept the line moving, this would've been a non issue, but because I was waiting in line in the school street driveway, people called inside and I was refused service when I pulled up to order. I was told "we saw you do it" which I guarantee is a lie, because if you did, you would've seen that there was nobody beyond the turn of the corner of the line when I pulled in. If that isn't an entrance anymore, how about putting a sign or blocking it off altogether? There is no sign visible from that driveway telling people to drive around and enter from Central Avenue and the drive thru line is still accessible from School Street. Such a stupid situation to get upset over but I probably won't be back here because of it. read more

The old building that they had existed for a long time, long before I was born. When I was a kid, I came there for some of their burgers and a Frosty. I'll never forget that "arched sun-room" type corridor that housed several booths for people to enjoy their meals under the natural sunlight. Fine memories, no? "Out With The Old and In With The New" - Fast forward to today, that building is long gone. A new modernized building was in place. The parking lot was also repaved too. Does newer mean better? For this matter, I say YES! For the exterior, the building looked nice and clean. Several windows were visible on the bottom part of the building in the front. A long, red, vertical rectangle stood out with Wendy's updated logo and font on the right side of the building in the front. That should be obvious that this building got the revamp! I was really impressed by the interior of this new building! The floors were made up of dark wood. Most chairs and tables were made out of wood too. The lights above had "circular" coverings around them. There was a little area where people with electronic devices could plug them into a LIMITED number of power outlets and utilize the FREE WIFI (they didn't have any of these in the old building). You think I'm done? Oh no, there's some more. There was one small area where they had a TV broadcasting news, four comfy chairs made out of either leather or leatherette, and a table with flowers in the middle of it. A decorative fireplace-type display was placed below the TV. Some power outlets were there too. Acoustic-leaning adult-contemporary music played in the background. All of that inside provided a "coffee-shop" type atmosphere. Separate from all that, they had a silver Coke machine which was operated by a TOUCHSCREEN. Patrons could select their soda and add SYRUP to their drink. Now THAT'S updated technology! This time, we went there just to get some Frosties. We were lucky enough to enjoy them while sitting in the comfy chairs. I was able to charge my device while eating near the decorative fireplace-type display. A nice worker came by and took our trash away, which was nice. She even explained to us when this location was opened and that there was supposed to be heat coming out of the fireplace-type display, but they dropped that particular idea. Quite interesting. Overall, a perfect location to grab your favorite Wendy's meals. read more

I've been to this Wendy's location plenty of times only through the drive thru. Depending on which employees are working during certain times, they would get the order wrong. I would need to come back (my husband would) to pick up a missing item. The fries are the best at this location; nice and salty and crispy. I actually prefer them over McDs. They have limited time items that I fully took advantage of but they no longer have on the menu - some of which in the past were the pretzel burger, the fish fillet sandwich only offered during the Lenten season, and my favorite strawberry salad during the summer season. Their regular items like their hamburger and baconator are good. Unique from other fast food restaurants are their all too familiar chocolate and vanilla frosty(s). If you order drive thru from this location, please please please make sure to check your order to avoid getting frustrated when you get home and realized they missed something. read more

I went tonight for some cravings, and the people working the drive thru were friendly, upbeat and efficient. The person who took my order was patient and whoever packed my stuff made sure it was hot. I didn't get 4 days worth of napkins, and I got one honey mustard rather than a week's worth. Usually kids at drive thru windows just give you a bunch of stuff not caring about the waste, or the money it costs the businesses. Props to you guys! read more

I mean, it's Wendy's. The experience you have at this Wendy's probably isn't much different from any other Wendy's. It just so happens that this is in the area that I prefer going to most, and not only because it's the closest location to me. I usually use the drive-thru, which I find to be quick despite a long line. The employees are generally nice to me and quick to accommodate me. Sometimes, I like to dine in. They recently renovated the dine-in area. They made it very inviting and clean. There's new soda machines with a wide variety of beverages, nice seating, and even a fireplace. I can actually imagine coming here to relax and maybe even study. For a fast food joint, one of many fast food places in the area, I'm really impressed by this Wendy's. read more

I was at Wendy's on Monday at around 11:30pm or midnight, trying to get some food. There was a dark skin colored lady with short hair taking orders, and she made me wait while I was ordering my food, she gave me an attitude, she was serious and very rude. I nearly had a stroke when I was charges $8.11 for a 1/4 pound single cheeseburger and a small diet soda. When I asked for a receipt... the paper was out of the machine and they couldn't produce one. For $8.49 I can get a 1/2 pound Classic burger with bacon and cheese along with fries "To Go" around the corner at Applebees. For that same $8.49 I can get a 1/2 Old Timer burger and fries at Chilis Overpriced for fast food, the quality is OK for fast food, but it is still a step below the competitors who actually charge less when you add in the weight of the meat and fries. read more

I went in to try the new breakfast menu. The cashier was very friendly. He gave me a coupon for a free sandwich. I had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I could taste the real egg. I felt the need for this review because my overall experience tonight at Wendy's was about how the team went above and beyond for the customer. Let me start out by saying I was dining with my two young children tonight at Wendy's. First , the young man at the register was extremely polite and paid great attention to the details of our order. I can honestly say I'm a plain eater and always modify the sandwich to my liking. After we received our order and sat down to eat the manager (Marlin) immediately noticed we were given an incorrect sandwich. Marlin quickly corrected the mistake and provided me with the correct sandwich and to my liking. By the end of the night as I was leaving with my children I dropped my debit card without noticing till an hour later that it was missing. I immediately panicked and retraced my steps to my last location of using my debit card. When I called Wendy's , Marlin answered the phone and I explained my situation. He had me verify my information on the card and confirmed my card was found and returned to him by another customer. Felt the need to share this, I was driving home late at night and dying of thirst. Pulled through the drive thru and ordered a bottle of water. The lady apologized and said they were out, and so I ordered a small soda. When I pulled forward she insisted it was on the house. I know it's not much, but the gesture was so well received. I wish I knew the young girls name, who absolutely insisted I take it even threatening to shut the window on me if I wouldn't accept it. A small gesture goes a long way! read more

I have to say first, the renovations are fantastic but that was the only good thing about this visit. We ordered 2 kids meals w/cheeseburgers ( nothing on it but cheese). Also subbed the drinks with Frosty's. When we got to the table both kids meals had just burgers w/ onions and pickles. No Frosty's. I went back up to let them know, which was all noted on the receipt. They just took the 2 burgers and added cheese after taking of the other stuff. Now with a cold burger and unmelted cheese. I then asked again for the Frosty's again and was given major attitude. On top of that I got a pretzel bacon cheese burger w/lettuce and ketchup only. That came out correctly but in all honesty the burger was barely luke warm, cheese unmelted and bacon barely cooked. They definitely had cooked burgers on the side and threw it together. IT WAS NOT WHAT WENDYS IS KNOWN FOR - Fresh cooked product. To end this off with a bang, all of our fries were obviously sitting for a while as they were not fresh nor hot and had so much salt on them they were almost unedible. I've been a Clark resident for 16 years. So , I've been here before the fairly new renovated facilities which occurred last year. I was a big fan of the old building and I absolutely LOVE the new building. However , for years now it seems every other visit , I get horrible customer service. Tonight for example, I placed my order via drive thru . After I was done ordering , the lady yelled with an attitude to drive around. I tried to explain that just a month ago , I was yelled at by an employee at this very Wendys store for driving around without being told to. And now I'm getting an attitude / yelled at for patiently waiting ? Preposterous! But then again , the lady was probably just upset because she works at a fast food place.
