Was super busy tonight so decided to stop to grab a bite to eat on my way home since it was late. Went through the drive thru at 9:25pm on a Tuesday night. I ordered a single cheese everything on it combo large. Got home, took the fries container out of the bag to find it barely half filled. I was so mad. My sandwich looks like someone took their hand and smashed it almost flat. Plus the top of the bun seems greasy or wet or something. So disgusted. Over $11 and this is what you get. I don't know who gave a low rating but I'll jack it back up a bit. I would have gave a 5-star but I've had an issue here and there at this location before but it was just issues that happen at any fast food chain like a wrong item in a bag or the occasional rogue employee with a shitty attitude. Nothing that created a long lasting negative effect like an exchange at the Hardee's across the street would leave I've been coming to this Wendy's location for over 2 decades and it is one of the better places in Connersville to get food. And since the days of Covid, my experience here has even improved because you can mobile order and simply just come pick up your order up. As an introvert, the less interaction the better and my order has always been spot on since mobile ordering since I'm entering my order in to their system myself I just want in and out and the only thing slowing me down from being out of there even faster is other customers that arrive unprepared while trying to custom order 1 of everything off the menu. Let me just say, my one star rating is one too many, but I was unsure if zero stars was an acceptable rating. I am very much a drive-thru kind of person when dealing with fast food, as I'm usually on the go and do not enjoy the extra hassle of parking, walking in to the establishment, ordering, waiting, returning to my car, situating, and leaving. What's so fast about that? Do NOT expect a timely order if there is ONE car in the drive-thru. Apparently, multi-tasking is not a requirement to work fast food, in order to be able to take an order, comprehend who's at the window, and continue to be able to function. Literally, if there is one car in the drive-thru prior to your arrival, you will be expected to hold your thoughts until said vehicle has completely left the property. Therefore, when the first aspect of your restaurant which I'm greeted with is a bunk ordering screen on the drive-thru that shows my order in random, definitely-not-what-I-ordered jibberish, I'm immediately unimpressed. Recently, I ordered a Spicy Chicken combo with no lettuce and a large Dr. Pepper to drink. Simple enough. Memory fails me on the specifics, but my ordered popped up on the screen as something similar to the following: +++Sp^&Cy C000m ---leet67c9e +++222D P12/-*per 1/2 a prop to the employees for not asking if my order was correct on the screen. Once my order is placed and I'm (far from) certain it's correct, I pull around to the window. No matter the employee (as this has happened on more than one occasion with more than one employee), the window is flung open, no words are exchanged (while they're telling the car now at the drive-thru "One Moment Please" since I am the +1 car allowed here at a time), my card is yanked from my hand, and the window is closed. Quicker than I am able to process what happened, the window flies open and in one motion my card, receipt, food, drink, and maybe a stray cat are shoved out the window and I'm expected to be on my way, without a simple "Thank You, Stay Away." Oh, and please don't ever attempt to order a baked potato after about 9PM. If there are none ready, the employees suddenly become unavailable to take the ten minutes that I'm WILLING TO WAIT to heat my &$@^ potato! read more

Not sure about going inside since I very rarely ever do so, but I speak from experience in the drivethru. I usually go to this Wendy's every day, getting my usual. Somehow, they pretty much always find a way to mess up the order. Not to mention, they seem kind of annoyed to fix their mistakes. But, for Connersville, it's nothing different. I really love Wendy's, the food is great...most of the time, however, my friend's say that the burgers they received were raw, I usually get the chicken sandwiches. As for their service, the cashiers are usually pretty friendly, but the cooks often get heated. The inside is almost always dirty, trash on the tables and floor and the employees just walk over it. They have also charged regular price when there is a discount, this has happened multiple times. Overall, I personally love Wendy's food, but I think this Wendy's could use some work with it's staffing. read more

Connersville, IN Wendy's. My items: junior cheeseburger, ordered it plain, came with everything on it. The bun was dry and the sandwich was cold and more bun than burger. The sandwich must have sat around for awhile and I was the lucky one that got it. French fries, limp and cold. No freshness to either item. worst Wendy's ive ever ate at in my life. We just moved to the area and have been here 2x both times they gave aweful and rushed service. both times our fries were cold the second time we got spicy chx meals and the sandwiches were soggy and the actual chicken sandwich was on the same bun my kids cheese burger was on and so so small. Wendy's is just horrible all the way around. I'm so sick and tired of getting my food ( no matter what I order ) and they somehow manage to screw up the order. Order a sandwich they give me the wrong sandwich, order a salad or soup and no utensils .......and on top of it what is really irritating is the shove the bag out the window and want to move on to the next customer. I am not one who does reviews, but today I had the worst service that I have ever had!!! First I was ask if I could wait one minute, I was alright with that but that minute turned into 5 minutes or longer. I ordered a value cheeseburger, a value french fry, a value coke, and a vanilla frosty. The girl ask me if I ordered a sprite and I replied no that I ordered a coke, she then ask me again if I ordered a sprite and I told her that I would repeat my order and she rudely told me that she had my order. I understand that sometimes it is hard to hear, but that is no excuse to be rude to the customer. I will think twice before eating at our Wendy's again... read more
