We did a mobile order at 11:28 p.m earlier tonight after leaving an event at the Nutter Center. A Friday night. The hours said open until 12 a.m. We were in the drive thru-line at 11:33 - 5 minutes after placing our mobile order - with 6 cars ahead of us and two behind us and the dining room was closed. We get to the speaker, tell him the name on the order, and he pulls us through. By the time we get to the window to get our food its 12:08 a.m., we had been in the drive-thru line for 40 minutes and the guy claims he has no order by that name, even though he said he did and pulled us through. The Wendy's app I used to order it through said the order had gone through and was checked in by the cashier, so that's a lie. It was checked in at 11:48 p.m. - when we reached the speaker and told him the name on the order initially. He proceeds to say that he turned his grill off early with 9 cars still in line so we could no longer get our food nor order if we wanted to. Our order still wasn't ready after the 40+ minutes of waiting in line. He proceeds to claim he's not arguing with us, while full on arguing with us for 5 - 10 minutes, insulting us, calling us liars, saying we're lying about how long we had waited and how many cars were there, when there were 8 other cars in line to testify to this truth about how long we had been waiting and how many cars were there. He then screamed obscenities and cursed at us as we pulled off. The guy claimed he is a manager and that his name is William. Yet, he wasn't acting like a manager - treating us like shit, insulting us, blaming us for his mistakes, calling us liars, and denying us the food that we had pre-ordered before ANYTHING should have been shut down in the kitchen. We waited in line for 40 minutes and got pulled through just to be told he doesn't have our order, hadn't started making it, he turned his grill off, tells us we can't order anything, insults us the entire time, then curses at us as we drive away. THIS GUY is what you call a "manager"? HORRIBLE. Wasted our time, our money, and caused us emotional distress while refusing to do his job. The WORST service I have ever received. The "manager" shouldn't be treating customers the way we were treated. This is not the first time we've received horrible service from this particular store. Get it together. I will never order from this store again. If you're hungry, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS STORE. The employees will just throw insults, call names, curse at you, and call you a liar the moment you call them out for shitty customer service. After waiting, be prepared for the attendant to tell you they are only taking cash which has happened numerous times and can be easily resolved by posting a sign on the drive-thru screen! You cannot go inside to place an order, the lobby has been closed since who knows when. One of the last times I ordered food there I had to return my fries and ask for fresh hot fries because they were stale and lifeless. I went to Wendy's at about 10:50 this morning. I ordered a 4 for 4 - the Wendy's poo poo platter, if you will. Everything was awful. The soda was flat. Fries were cold and had no salt. Nuggets were cold. Worst of all, the main entre, my double stack was awful. Bread was stale - I'm saying totally stiff. Onions were chewy. Pickles scarce. To top it all off it had ketchup and mustard smeared all over it. I got some other food too but my appetite is ruined. So to sum it all up - I had a bad experience at this Wendy's and would recommend going to the Frisch's BigBoy next door, they have a drive through and it's worth the wait.. We went back through, where the cook tried to argue with us saying he put it in and we were lying about it (which is definitely not true) we also were missing sauce. BLATANTLY LIED TO! In town for a concert. After the show we went to Wendy's because it is two down from our hotel. Walked in at 11:20 PM. The lights in the dining room were off, even though the dining hours listed outside said it was open till 12 midnight. There was a tall guy with glasses and a goatee that said the dining room was closed. I asked if we could still order at the counter and he said no, drive thru only. He claimed he had already closed the counter registers. I asked why the dining room was closed when the hours clearly stated they were open till 12 midnight. He has nothing to say and just stared at me as if I have five hides. I asked if we could still order at the counter and he just use the drive thru register but we would have to wait for any and all cars to go through first. Then a tall guy with dirty brown hair came over to write down our order. He discovered the register at the counter hadn't been closed down and was still full functioning. We were blatantly lied to so that they didn't have to serve customers wanting food after the show. Ridiculous. read more
