Great food and taste , portions just small or would have been a 5 star all the way , Don't think they had AC it was hot inside , I got it to go , ate at the other one in HH and the portions was at least double . This place is very good! I have always gotten their bourbon chicken and mixed rice, but the rest of the menu looks good! Whenever I think about trying something new, I just can't resist their bourbon chicken and end up getting that again! My toddler loves their Mac n cheese! Something for everyone. Hubby and I visited Bourbon Boyou Bistro on a slow Wednesday afternoon. After trying the fabulous Bourbon Chicken at the owners previous location in Xenia we were thrilled to see they landed in out hometown! We walked in expecting to take an order togo. (Remember the terrible small booths when it was Foys?) But we were pleasantly surprised to find tables and chairs in a nice open space. We ordered at the counter and I got a seat while hubby got the food. I ordered the Bourbon chicken on a sub sandwich and hubby ordered the Bourbon chicken with two sides - a spicy rice and Mac and Cheese. We also got a side of corn bread and a couple drinks. Everything was fantastic and the menu was bigger than in Xenia but the star is still the Bourbon chicken unless you count the sweet cake they call cornbread! read more

A small cafe style restaurant located downtown Fairborn was a pleasant surprise. The chefs were friendly and explained items on the menu. We had Bourbon Chicken, spicy rice, beans and mixed steamed vegetables. The food was cooked to order so it was steaming hot upon arrival at our table. This is Not Fast Food, and the smells makes your mouth water while you wait. I would give the overall experience a B+ and we'll be back ! read more

The actual food of this place is really really good but we have ordered take out from this place a few times and every single time, they do not get the order correct so by the time we get home, we realize we are missing the cornbread and extra sides we've paid for, which is incredibly frustrating. Especially when it's happened more than once.... Also, if you are ordering takeout, just know it will not be ready on time, by a good 30+ minutes. We have literally ordered food and walked in to pick up at our pickup time only for the staff to not realize we even placed an order. Don't offer an online order option if you cannot get it right. read more

Brand new restaurant in downtown Fairborn! Newly renovated space and tasty tasty bourbon chicken! I have had this bourbon chicken from the food truck and now I don't have to chase down the food truck, I can go have it whenever I want. I had the Bourbon chicken with lo mein. My kids had the wraps and the quesadilla and French fries. The bourbon chicken is sweet and tangy, the fries were crispy. They have a lot of different sides and a lot of different items to chose from. I'll be back! read more

Slipping away a little , brought the family here to eat and the portions are getting smaller and smaller and the pieces of chicken are so tiny it is ridiculous. Very slow service and not very busy. And what chicken you do get is small and burnt . The drinks options are not consistent and they are Faygo from dollar general and most of the time you cannot get diet soda . Food is good. But they have a lot of problems to work out with service...chaos is the best description...waited 20 minutes yesterday just to be order...#3 in a line of 9 people. They were turning away call in orders because the three employees couldn't figure out priorities. Sad as I had high hopes for this place, but it won't last with poor service. After, my food was prepared it took over 5 minutes just to pay! That's 25 of my 30 minutes for lunch... won't be going back for this reason. Food is good. read more

Four and a half more like it. We were there literally on the day they opened on Main Street, so the service was just a little rough around the edges, and the menus weren't ready. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food is great. Five stars on the blackened chicken with beans and rice. The spicy chicken was really good and the cornbread was what we used to call "Amazeballs." I wouldn't mind seeing a few more Cajun items on the menu. Cajun-inspired burgers and subs would be a great addition. (They might offer these items, I can't recall the entire menu.) I would love to see more cafes on Main Street in Fairborn. read more

Need food saftey 101 !!!! Well this places just opened. I wont be back. Walk in to place my order. I was completely grossed out. The (owner) maybe? Not sure. Threw the chicken on the flat top grill to cook. Placed bowl off to the side. As she trying to show the guy what he needs to do she yells sorry they are new here. The guy handles some raw chicken as well and with the same raw chicken gloves grabbed cooked chicken to cut up. Yes same gloves!the first lady grabbed the empty bowl that had raw chicken placed it back in the fridge. Only a matter of time before theres a shortage of Toilet paper in fairborn and lot of sick people.. They need the health department. read more
