Went through the drive thru and was rushed through the whole process so when we got to the window we added on a frosty. The young kid in there got it for us and a woman in there screamed at the poor kid telling him we can go back around through the drive thru if we needed something else!! There was no one behind us and if she hadn't of rushed us maybe we wouldn't have forgot. I feel so bad for that young man having to work in that environment. A disaster of an experience. Every countertop is greasy and dirty. Service is extremely slow. It's unfortunate S.C. doesn't require businesses to display their cleanliness rating because this location is definitely not up to basic Wendy's standards. Sanitation at the grill did not look good. For some reason five people were working on two burgers for a long while. Management was in disarray walking around doing nothing obvious other than salting fries even though the grill area was chaos. I chickened out and threw my food away as I walked out. Oh and there was a crack head passed out at the front tables. He got up and had bloodshot eyes when he went to the bathroom. Then he returned to pass out again in the dining area. This has to be one of if not THE worst Wendy's in the USA. Fortunately, there were only 5 cars in the drive thru when we pulled in. Unfortunately, it still took us over 30 minutes to get our food. When we finally got it, the fries were cold and the burgers weren't much better. They had no tea. They had no Coke. We both had to get Dr. Pepper. There was no need to complain about the food and wait another 30 minutes for a repeat. We just threw the food in the trash, drank the Dr. Pepper, and stopped in NC to eat. My husband and I stopped in the Wendy's in Florence, SC near the interstate on our way to North Carolina. We attempted to order from the drive thru and were told there would be a 15 minute wait. We were in a hurry, and they gave us no explanation as to why the wait, and people in line behind us were upset as well. This was my worst experience at a Wendy's ever, and we have stopped at Wendy's all over the USA. The staff were abrupt and appeared to not care if we got served or not and it appeared that looking through the window that they were just walking around, not actually preparing food. Some appeared to be on their phones. We left and the car behind us left as well. This is not the Wendy's I have known, and I wonder what Dave would say to this non service. read more

UNSAFE AND THREATENING!!!! I was behind a man in line waiting for my order (they told me it would be 15 mins.). The man in front of me was also waiting his 15 minutes for his food. The person at the window was screaming at him in his car. Then, the ENTIRE staff got out of the restaurant, surrounded his car, and screamed at him there!!!! I was scared and upset at the whole experience, and I got out of there fast without my food. These workers are unhinged and not concerned at all with cooking food and helping customers. Great job staff! They were so friendly and the burgers and fries were hot and delish. The only recommendation I would give is to have someone clean up the trash in the parking lot. Nice to have a decent quick place to stop while traveling. read more

Yikes. I'm a firm believer in giving all folks a chance when they are having a hard time, but the poor staff at this location were unable to handle 3 cars in succession. We waited patiently for things to ease up so that our order could be taken. We waited more than15 minutes, and the server want taking care of checking in at all. It felt as though these people had no training whatsoever in order to do this job. I truly felt frustrated, we wasted nearly20 minutes of our journey there in line only to never get the servers attention. Really sorry to add yet another negative post here, I see that this is consistently the guest experience at this location, but I wrote this with high hopes that all the negative attention will encourage chain management to get involved. I wish I didn't have to give a star just to write a review. This Wendy's is horrible. If you want Wendy's go to the one down the road by food lion. I went through the drive thru and it took me an hour. I had to wait to even order and then to even receive our order. Cars behind mine were even leaving because the wait was beyond ridiculous. They got the whole order wrong. One worker is poorly hiding in the back by the drive through window from the front end playing on her phone and the lady running the drive thru is extremely rude with her tone and facial expressions. I understand if they are short staffed due to the virus but their workers need to get their acts together. This is very sad. read more

The service was incredibly slow because only one register was working, but the workers were extremely courteous and polite. They took time with the order and got everything right. The floors were sticky, but that's better than them being slippery. The bathrooms were clean and had both soap and paper towels. Absolutely horrible. Bathrooms are filthy, sink is broken, trashbin falling apart, and the food is, well, somehow they managed to take a set standard for Wendy's, and make it horrible. As of August 2014 this restaurant hasn't change a bit from the previous review. The service was slow, even though we were the only ones in line. The bathrooms were filthy, the dining area looked old, a wooden part of the ledge that goes below one of the windows was all sponged out. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Not a FAST food operation. Delayed 20 minutes while waiting to place order. Will not stop at this location again when I am travelling. Management needs to review staffing for efficiency improvement. I felt bad for the one person (Gwen) up front with no one helping her fill the orders. I don't know how she manages to keep a smile on her face and be pleasant with all of the customers. And for the 5 people on the back they couldn't even get a simple change request correct when another customer requested "no sauce." Poor Gwen even had to follow up with the help in the back to get the correct order and then hand deliver it to the customer in the in room dining. And as she was coming back in, another customer from the drive through window brought in an incorrect order. Please give this woman a raise as she is the only one competent at this restaurant. And the reason this review may be longer than others is that I am still waiting for my very simple, no customisation order. I'm not hitting submit until I can actually confirm my order. And now I just watched Gwen fulfill an order from the drive through window too. Seriously, fire everyone else and let her pick who should work with her. And now finally someone is jumping on the group in the back "come on now, you got people waiting out front". Oh and customer #3 is back with a messed up order. Finally got my order.
