Cold plate -- a tiny cup of fruit and a small scoop of pimento cheese.

This is a cute little spot with fast service. My husband had a yummy burger on a nice bun with crispy homemade potatoes. Had I ordered the same, my review would be five stars. His yummy lunch was $14. For $12, I got the cold plate, which included a tiny container of fruit (calling it a cup is misleading) and what they call a scoop of pimento cheese. Their scoop is like a tiny home ice cream scoop, the equivalent of about three bites. It should be called a small plate and about half the price they charged. It was hardly lunch-size.

DEFINITELY a place to stop for a bite to eat! Sorry no pictures of our lunch but took pictures of the menu. We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders with side salad (Ranch was my favorite dipping sauce). Also had the Mile's Chopped Cheese with Crispy Potatoes. EVERY part of our meal was DELICIOUS. Food was ready in about 10 minutes (maybe a little less). Wonderful break from fast food. Will be stopping here again when driving through Florence, SC

Delicious food and fast service. They took the time to butter and toast my gluten free bun. The dining area is really small. But everything moves quickly.. Not 5 star because I was charged 2 extra for the bum.

Fun experience here with my daughter for a quick take-out lunch. Loved the vibe. Will definitely plan to go back.

I remember when this used to be the Sanitary Cafe and Harry ran the place. He had a small display case with some of his old military stuff in it from when he was in World War 2. I was happy to see the stainless steel wall cover still there behind the counter. I met a friend of mine for lunch on my way to Myrtle Beach. We've been friends since 3rd Grade ! I had the Country Ham Plate with Mac-n-Cheese , Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , Roll , and Sweet Tea. He had the Patty Melt with Fries. I love getting Country Ham when I come home to visit because we can't get it in Las Vegas. It was good , but I have to say the portion was a little smaller than I expected. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was good , but the Mac-n-Cheese I didn't really care for. Sweet Tea was on point. My friend liked his Patty Melt and fries. He knew our waitress and she was nice enough to take a picture of us. Bennettsville is still the small town community that I remember and grew up in. I would love to see it grow again like many places have even though all the jobs moved away years ago when the factories moved overseas. My father and I walked the streets of Bennettsville everyday after he got off work and we visited many of the shopkeepers after his first heart attack to give him some exercise. He grew up in Bennettsville and never moved as many of the people that he grew up with. Bennettsville was a tight knit community then and I know the ones that I grew up with still have this place in their heart even being thousands of miles away like me.

Customer service is lacking. Slow service. Took over an hour to get breakfast. Owner is rude.read more

There are only a few tables, but they aren't cramped. You order at the counter and just take a seat, and your food and drinks will be served to you. I'd guess there's only two people working here on a random weekday. Expect your food to take a bit, but it's completely fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were large but balanced. I often can't finish sweet crepes due to getting sugar'd out. This one felt very focused on the fruit and allowing the Nutella to take a passenger, enhancing vibe instead. Omelette was cheese-central. I might ask for lighter cheese next time, but it was ridiculously delicious too. Croissants were SUPER light and fluffy, and they get served warm for you. Really tasty, perfectly baked. Bathroom was a single unisex room and older, but it was clean. Two booths that'll seat four people as well as multiple two-person tables with wooden, no-armed chairs. No stairs, and while it'd be a tight fit, a wheelchair could fit in here. (I don't think the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though.) The guy running the place wasn't super friendly, but he wasn't *unfriendly*, and he was very efficient. He also popped in to see if we needed things and was there to deliver silverware and other things before we asked for them. If staff reads this: please replace/update the folded, faded paper signs on the outside of the building. That's part of why we haven't given this place a try in so long - and I'm sad we hadn't!
