We were getting hungry but only had time for a quick stop on our way home from a property inspection. So that narrowed our options to mostly fast food. Since we really like the premium or large or whatever it's called, Grilled Chicken Sandwich at Wendy's we checked our Wendy's App for deals and did not find the BOGOF offer. Then I remembered we had some old fashioned paper coupons and I checked what was offered and...Yes! BOGOF Premium Grilled Chicken Sandwich was there. So we watched the highway signs for any upcoming Wendy's and ended up here. It wasn't busy when we arrived and we were able to place our order immediately: BOGOF deal and a Large Chili ! The young man taking our order was friendly and pleasant and got our order placed and filled quickly. The food was hot and exactly what we were looking for. I do miss the Multigrain Buns they used to have for these sandwiches but they're delicious and still my favorite fast food Chicken Sandwich. This was a great Wendy's. The person helping us had the best attitude and was super helpful. The food quality was great too. Our fries were hot and fresh. The sandwiches were made well. My favorite part was the nice guy who helped us- he was awesome. Our food was also ready pretty fast. read more

Covid has hit this place hard. I didn't mind the wait and everyone working hard, but watching the guy sweeping with a gross broom handle and then work the grill one handed without washing hands and still with a broom in hand was disgusting. read more

Wendy's has the best french fries and the best hamburgers. The coupons are my favorite,though. You can get a lot of food with those coupons and it's not as expensive as sit-in diners. read more

Management really has problems. When pandemic first hit this place was great. Masks everywhere, food was hot and quick. Now... this place is horrible. Yesterday was a Saturday and they were closed because of no workers. Several weeks ago when they were open there was a lady working there that sounded so angry that I asked one her colleagues to ask her to take a break or have someone else take orders since it was painful to order from her. I go there about ounce a week and food quality has dropped significantly. I am lucky now if my food is lukewarm. Management needs to step it up and make it better for their workers. A&W down the road seems like the workers are so much happier, food is always fresh and hot, and A&W has never closed down. They are still wearing masks too. Today I went through the drivethrough and tried to order a potato but they didn't have any cooked and ready. No biggie I know sometimes it's hard to keep up with potatoes because they take so long to bake. I ordered a burger instead and the bun was ice cold and fries had clearly been sitting for a while. The sandwhiches were wrapped very poorly and there was greece and sauce all over the outside if the wrapper. I used to work at Wendy's when I was a teenager and my manager would have fired me if I handed this bag out a window to any customer. These a very simple things to accomplish. At 10:50a, the doors were locked. Could see staff inside and one was in parking lot. I pointed to the hours sign saying they should be open and he said "we will open once everybody gets a break and once everything gets done." This place is absolutely ridiculous. They never have any chili or salad and this was before the pandemic. The staff is rude and always outside smoking. Every single time I have ordered from there, something in my order was wrong. Whether it be the size or something has simple as not giving spicy nuggets when specifically asked for. I always get my receipt and I show them that they got my order wrong and they give me a ton of attitude for something easy to correct. PAY ATTENTION! The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Slowest Wendy's in Michigan. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. Just seems to be dumb luck we end up at this exit ever so often as we cross the state. Always friendly, the food is fine, but it is sooooo slow. read more
