Really cute quaint little spot for breakfast or lunch. I ordered the brisket breakfast sandwich. Plenty of moist beef brisket, with a fried egg and cheese on Texas toast. We also ordered the honey mustard chicken pita. Even the kettle chips were really good. Small critique: breakfast sandwich was kind of dry and could have used a side of salsa, but staff didn't come back to check on us until my sandwich was almost done. A local spot where I'm sure we, as non-locals stood out like a sore thumb, but what a great place. Small and unassuming, our breakfast was great and so was our server, Lyndsey. Friendly and attentive, she answered all my question, recommended some choices and was spot on with those choices. I had a ham, egg and swiss sandwich on sourdough toast which was very tasty and my granddaughter had something called Michelle's hashbag that had potatoes, peppers, ham, cheese and everything else in it. They were both amazing. My great-grandson enjoyed his Mickey Mouse pancakes, too. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Took a drive to outlet mall in Howell (only to be disappointed that the store no longer exists ) and we got hungry for some lunch and found TFBC's good review rating so we tried it. Loved it! Little diner atmosphere with lots of seating for the size of the building. All tables and chairs, tables for 2 & up with lots of space to maneuver if you're using mobility aids. No steps to enter from decent size paved parking lot. Decor is upscale country theme and home cooking. My sister couldn't decide between the Philly Steak or the fish sandwich so we got both and shared halves, since I couldn't decide period. I was just hungry. The 2 fish filets were decent size, smaller but thick and the bun was nice and soft so it was perfect. Came with cheese melted nicely and their homemade tartar sauce was delicious, I was using it as a dip for the kettle chips that came with the sandwich. My sister's Philly Steak and cheese also had the perfect hoagie roll, both soft & dense to hold it all in for the perfect bite each time. Waffle fries were hot, crispy. Portion sizes were standard but we were very satisfied with the meal. Food was fresh, hot, tasty and timeliness of our server to take our order and deliver was maybe 10 minutes- on a Monday afternoon. Not peak crowd time. The menu itself was smaller than other places but there are still a good number of options for breakfast, sandwiches, salads, sides. They had a Churro Sundae special that another server Highly recommended: waffle vanilla ice cream, cinnamon sprinkled all over and caramel drizzle, whipped cream = fantastic! The whole establishment was clean and tidy, in/ outside and boy/ girl facilities. Prices were $-$$ and the whole experience was wonderful! Worth the trip and we will keep this place on our list of places to go back to again! Put it on your list as well! read more

I've eaten here two times. The service is ok. The food is ok. The place is clean. Both times we had breakfast. The food is a fraction better than Denny's. The French toast was sad, basically now egg wash just bread. The omelette was ok. I don't like processed cheese. A few touches this place would be a lot better. I ordered split pea soup didn't get it but I was charged. The owner offered to give it to me to go. I declined but it was a nice gesture. Both times the waitresses were either dropping silverware ect or forget ig the order. The eggs and bacon were good. My wife liked her biscuits and gravy. To me the gravy was bland. I'll go back though the food is inexpensive and Fowlerville is a cool lil town. read more

Was highly suggested that I try this from Howell Livingston Airport. Am getting Carrot Cake, pancake, eggs and bacon. Water drink. Nice place and setting along busy main street into town. Cake is really good and obviously handmade, my opinion. Pancake was large and great texture like handmade mix. Bacon was pretty average. Eggs just right and good yellow yolks like outdoor, grain fed birds have. No complaints. So, my airport crew car self locked, as I had left it running Fortunately, a mechanic crew was inside restaurant and loaned me couple tools and was able to unlock and continue. Lucky day in paradise. I can't even begin to explain how much I love the feedbag now. About 2 years ago I stopped coming here because there was a new cook or something and the food was atrocious, I decided to give it another try a few months ago and was blown away! The food was amazing!! The waitresses we've had both times were awesome, the First Lady had patchwork-like tattoos and was super duper nice, and the Second Lady had dog paws on her leg and was super helpful and sweet. I'm happy to say the Feedbag has became one of my favorite spots again. Whatever cook they have in there needs a raise! The only complaint I have is that the young girl who was working in there reached over us while we were eating and took our ketchup away while we were using it, she said she had to refill it.. she never did refill it or return it for us to use because she was too busy flirting with the young boy working. The restaurant can be pretty noisy when you go on a busy day, but other than that it's super kid friendly and very family friendly. Love the Feedbag so much, just what Fowlerville needs. read more

I'm giving 3-stars for how wonderfully sweet these people are. Unfortunately, I have a Severe food allergy and the young girls who initially come to the table to help you are not qualified to help someone with a food allergy. I can not have aspartame, and I've gotten pretty good at knowing what's "safe" and not safe to order. I wanted coffee. I also wanted a white liquid that originated from a cow to go in the coffee, preferably, half-and-half but I'm not that picky so long as it's not spiked with artificial sweeteners and sends me into a seizure. SO... I ask the girl if she could please bring me "real half-and-half" and she goes to another girl and asks; that girl sends her to the kitchen and after a bit of time comes back out with one of those little national delight cups that are on the table of every diner in the nation. She asked if that's what I wanted and I told her that that's not "real" half-and-half and that it's it contains what I'm allergic to. She then asked me what half-and-half is. I wasn't sure where to begin on answering that question -- knowing this was the solution the kitchen had sent her out with. So I just asked for milk. I read on Yelp reviews that the pancakes were really good, so I wanted to try them. However, syrup is a huge problem for my allergy. A manager overheard me trying to ask the same, now confused, girl questions about what brand of syrup they use and if they use sugar free (they do, for any diabetics reading this), and she stepped in to answer. The pancakes were great, hot, fluffy -- ultra buttery (tasted like they were cooked on the same griddle as the meat). My husband ordered a hash which he liked. His egg was slightly under done, which he didn't mind, but had it been my egg I would have been sad. In the women's bathroom, there's a full, very nice baby's changing table. It's wooden, modern, and a lot of care has been taken to keep it very clean. The people here are exceptionally nice and well-meaning, but I think working in the food-service industry they need a bit more education on food allergies and have a protocol. I realize that I have an unusual allergy, but by not understanding "half-and-half" I worry someone with lactose intolerance may have a difficult time here. read more

While some lunch orders may be good like the roast beef sandwich, or coney dogs. The fries suck. Battered fries are really poor quality. What happened to Real French Frys? If your going to serve battered fries, List it, so I can say no thanks. The dinner menu is like a childs menu. How about a dinner menu? Like a chicken or beef dinner. Your bar B que sucks! Serve it as a lunch option. How disappointing. The sliders aren't sliders. There just small hamburgers. The bun is good. But the burger should be a lot thinner and the pickles as well. They have no understanding of what a slider is supposed to be. If someone could correct this they could sell a lot more! The new change in atmosphere say's they dont care they are in a small town with country guests. If they dont make serious changes, their going to go out of business. read more
