I guess reading the reviews would have been helpful. We stopped here while on a roadtrip because there was a major accident on the freeway and this was a good excuse for a detour. Well, 38 minutes of traffic would have been better than sitting here for the same amount of time. Now don't get me wrong, the staff here are very kind and friendly...it's just that the service is so extremely slow and they forgot my husband's potato. At this point, I'm going to have to tell him no more potato's from Wendy's because no matter the location, there's always an issue with these dang tuber vegetables. So anyways, we went back into the drive thru because there was a huge line inside. I ordered online and when I got there I was told they changed my order to something else because what I ordered was not a available. Why would you not wait to see what I actually would have wanted it changed to? Then when I told the woman at the window that I didn't want the changed order and that I wanted a refund she started cursing at me with her manager standing next to her doing nothing about it. I should have just left like the car in front of me that also experienced a bad interaction with Ms Nasty B. I will never go there again. It's sad that her manager did nothing. 1:30 pm on a sunday and had to wait 30 minutes to get food. Lots of standing around looking up at screens. Order was right and the food was quality. Just seemed like they were making 1 order at a time instead of keeping the grill full. read more

This is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. The restroom was horribly dirty. Service was slow and they would only take another order after the prior order was delivered to the customer so be prepared to wait to order. One good note, the woman who took our order was friendly and nice. The inside was clean and organized. The service was exceptional! They brought the food neatly packaged and organized to us at our table. They were kind and got our order perfectly! The bathrooms were updated and clean, and the parking lot was, too. Will visit again on our way back home! read more

We just waited in the drive thru line at least 30 minutes and waited at the window for 20. We heard one worker telling another that they were out of bacon. How does a restaurant where 1/2 the menu contains bacon run out of cooked bacon? Those 20 minutes must have been for them to cook more. We ended up with ice cold sandwiches (but the bacon was warm!). No one attempted to explain the issue or apologize for the delay. And why on earth not cook the rest of the food once the bacon is ready? Of course we weren't provided with the receipt so we cannot provide feedback directly on our specific issue. Poor management and abysmal customer service. $27 wasted on a miserable meal. Repulsive -- food and service. Had to give 1 star just to leave this review but would give 0/5 if possible. Stood there for 10 minutes waiting to place an order. All 4 people working were chatting at the fries, not acknowledging us and the 5+ other people in line. MIght be the single worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Hungry from a long day of driving we saw the Wendy's sign right before the Interstate exit. We pulled off and went inside and saw 3-4 people waiting for their orders to be made. Odd. We waited for the cashier to come to the register to take our order but it turns out she was in the back cooking. Wow. When she did finally take our order, she went right back to cook some more. Have to admit I've never seen that at any Wendy's. Needless to say, things here are SLOW. Try somewhere else. read more

This place is so disorganized. Out of potatoes. The oven was broke the girl said the manager left to get some from another location. We get our order it was wrong. Gave her two sandwiches back and she took them back and put them back into the kitchen which is against the food code! So wrong! This place serves cold food. Don't bother stopping if you're looking for hot food. I had to ask the kid to put my fries back under the warmer while i waited for the sandwiches which took about five minutes and were still cold when I got them. Like I said, don't bother. Stopped on Saturday, August 14th on our way through from Durham. Needed to use a bathroom, but their dining room is closed and it is drive through only. Went to McD's across the street, and then came back to Wendy's as we wanted strawberries, and being tired of McD's. Got in line to get food, the line was out of the parking lot and into the access road. (I should have seen the warning signs then!) we waited for a while, and slowly moved two car lengths forward, then waited even longer. We decided to see how long it took to get our order. At a snail's pace (sorry, snails are actually faster). 20 minutes after we started keeping track of the time, we got to the speaker. We waited for 5 minutes, then some said something to us that we couldn't understand as the speaker was so busted. I assumed it was "Sorry for the wait. Can I take your order?" and I started to place the order. I got through one meal order and started on the next when the voice said something else, and the speaker seemed to cut out. I said hello several times, and nothing. I said hello again...and nothing. More of this nothing for another 4 minutes, then something that I believed again was a "Can I take your order?" Like they had never said anything prior to that. I figured I had better order quick before the voice slipped back into the void. I placed our order a #1 single with cheese, no onion and a #5 grilled chicken, no tomatoes and the voice said what sounded like an amount of money. We waited for the cars in front of us to move. I hoped before they rusted in place into the ground. It took ten minutes after we ordered before we actually got to pay! The worker said what I thought was $15. something, and I handed them my credit card. My wife said "You need to ask them how much, because that didn't sound right." I did, and they answered "$52.84". I said we had only ordered 2 meals and that couldn't be correct. They changed it to $18.36, then said their card reader wasn't working and that I needed to go to the next window to pay. 7 short minutes later, we get to the next window, and they take our credit card, and give us our drinks. Three minutes after that, I ask for a paper copy of the receipt, and was told that the machine was out of paper. We got our order, looked in the bag and the sides were correct and there were two sandwiches inside, so headed onto the highway. Shockingly, the sandwiches were incorrect, we got a double cheeseburger with no onion and a single bacon cheeseburger with everything, and no napkins. This soured us on Wendy's, and unless we want to be frustrated and have plenty of time to waste, we won't be going to one for a long time. read more

This is not the place to go if you are looking for fast food. We ordered 3 wraps and then waited. After a while we heard one worker yell back I need more wraps. A sign our food was not coming soon. Having worked in a restaurant I could tell that the cook line had likely not been swept all day....not a good sign for cleanliness. We finally got our food as a huge line had formed. When we went for a table most were greasy and dirty. Not what you come to expect from a Wendy's. Needs to get it together. Go elsewhere! read more

They opened at 11 am. I went though drive-thur at about 11:10. They act like they were still asleep. Then my fries were cold and no salt on them at all. Very hard to drive and drink your drink with no straw. They didn't put anything in the bag straw napkins nothing. Makes me want to stop eating here at all. Plus the prices are to high. read more

We were passing through from Ohio to Kinston NC. It was snowing expecting 10 inches and all the other fast food places were closed. They greeted us and got our food promptly. I would have given a 5 but when we came in we heard the order taker say how she would like to get home safe. I get that but she was still on the clock. read more
