Every time I go to this location they are never trained. Last time they tried to correct me on a flavor then realized they do have it but explained how they don't know how to make a flavor that is offered on their coke machine. Make it make sense. Then tonight they informed us that they close their frosty machines at this location at 10:30 even though they close their store at 1 am. Minimal care taken to ensure that orders are correct. It's all true. All of it. Except nobody noted the really weird, stale oil smell that has saturated this place. All I wanted was a frosty, and when I walked in there were about 6 people already eating food, which indicated that this establishment could successfully exchange money for food items. But there was no way to know how long that exchange of money for food would take. I came inside and stood as the 5th person in line like a muppet for around 4 mins while the cashier did something with the lady at the front of the line. Was she trying to win the Guinness World Record for slowest swipe of a credit card? Did the lady order everything on the menu, but with no onions and extra tomatoes and origami sandwich wrappers? I'll never know because after she finished ringing up that lady she just sort of walked back into the kitchen out of sight. When she finally came back out, she wasn't ready to help the next customer for some reason and yet she didn't have anything for the lady who just ordered either. She was like a mint condition beanie baby in a display case: she was so close and you could see her, but she wasn't usefully engaged at the moment. Then about 6 more people filtered in behind us. At that point, one of the kitchen staff pokes her head around the corner and really loudly panic whispers, "Oh my gosh, there's like 20 *more* people in line now!" Firstly, that makes it sound like the place was hopping before, when in reality there was only a handful of patrons in the dining area and I'd only seen one car get its order in 3 minutes (though there were more schmucks waiting unawares in their cars outside). Secondly, that also makes it sound like the arrival of (maybe 10 total) paying customers was unexpected. Like, if someone played a prank on you and invited people to a huge party at your house without telling you? You'd be like, "Who ARE all these people and WHY are they HERE?!" Yeah, that's the voice this employee had in describing the people in line at this Wendy's. Why are you here?! Lol. I had no idea what was happening anymore and was about as interested in pursuing this frosty craving as I was in continuing to smell the weird oily odor in this establishment. Only one woman had her order taken the whole time I was in there and I didn't have the wherewithal to wait overnight for my turn. So when I pull up they can't find my order. So I'm like an issue must have happened but it's fine. I've been charged though and showed them that it was charged on my account. So then I got so frustrated that I actually stood physically in the drive-through since that was the only thing that was technically open and waited and waited and WAITED! So then when I finally came up to the window I said I've been waiting there for 15 minutes so then the manager explains to me that there was a mistake on the app and I need to call customer service. I said that's all you needed to say to me and I would be fine. I realize mistakes happen with technology but your staff is ridiculous. So she then proceeds to make an excuse saying they were in the weeds. Look. I bartended for 10 years. I know what the weeds look like they were not in the weeds two of them fools were sitting at a table chitchatting! Not one weed to be found. I'm all for supporting local businesses but this one is officially completely banned on my list. This Wendy's can f### up a wet dream. I have been there three times and every single time my order is wrong. I love Wendy's burgers and when done correctly they are amazingly good. After my third visit I have pinpointed the issues that continue to haunt their drive-thru. 1. The order screen never works! Now I'm not sure if it's broken or that they are trying to push more orders than they are supposed to but the purpose of the screen is to ensure accuracy. 2. This place will not repeat your order. I drove up to the window and forced the guy to repeat the order. He seemed rather annoyed by having to do this. 3. They never check the bag before that hand it to you. I end up looking after the guys hands me the bag and I'm missing condiments and napkins and my sandwich is incorrect. 4. Customer service sucks! I walked in and asked to speak to a manager and never saw one. The poor girl at the counter seemed more interested in making me happy than the manager. 5. They rarely hand you a receipt. The whole purpose of a drive thru is to get your food quickly without leaving your car. There is no reason why I should be putting my car in park in a drive thru smh. THEY NEED TO CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!! It's almost like something out of a sitcom. We spent 20 min in the indoor line, then were told that they needed a finger print to restart the cashier machine, which could only be done by one person who didn't exist. Second, they almost never get the order right and both of these could be because they never have enough staff on duty and when they do, the whole staff seems irritated because of the manager christine but when she isn't there, they seem less irritated but things still go by a little slow.
