They were able to accommodate us and the server for the adults was perfection! The kids server was also good even though he questioned one of the kids orders ;) I get it, Filet for a kid is unique. The food came out in a timely manner and not one of us had a complaint. While I didn't try the drinks those they did loved them but they did need a wipe on the glass so they weren't so sticky. A couple Sundays ago, the Queens and I got together for a late lunch at Copper Canyon in Woodmore Town Center, and we had such a wonderful time. From the moment we sat down, our server Chad took great care of us. He was attentive without hovering, kept our drinks refilled, answered all of our questions, and even helped us find the perfect sauce pairing for one of our appetizers. When you're out catching up with friends, having a server who helps the meal flow smoothly makes such a difference, and Chad absolutely did that. I started off with the Fleur de Lis. And it was perfect! For Apps, we started with the fried green tomatoes topped with crab and balsamic glaze, the calamari, and the crab dip. All appetizers were delicious and disappeared quickly from the table. For our entrees, our group ordered a variety of dishes including the salmon, steak salad, seafood pasta and a trout dish. Everything that came out looked beautiful and was enjoyed by the person who ordered it. We spent just as much time admiring everyone's plates as we did eating them! Of course, I couldn't leave without dessert to take home!! The caramel macchiato cheesecake sounded delicious and turned out to be a perfect ending to the day while watching a movie!! I went to this location when they first opened and was disappointed and haven't been back until now. It's still overly disappointing! It's packed and loud inside BUT don't let the smoke and mirrors fool you. The food is overcooked and lacks season. My advice save your hard earned money this place and their food TERRIBLE. Parents anytime a kids says, "these chicken fingers don't taste like anything", and then I try them and it taste like chicken no seasoning just fried chicken with absolutely nothing. Let's talk about Copper Canyon...I started off with the Flowering Peach and LET ME JUST SAY... the drink is absolutely gorgeous! Like, picture-worthy gorgeous. It tasted good too -- smooth, sweet, but STRONG!! REAL STRONG!!! The type of strong when you know you better stop at one...LOL. Then came the spinach dip with the salsa and sour cream, and listen, it was EVERYTHING. Creamy, flavorful, and just downright addictive. Thinking about now makes me want more. Never lets me down! Been here a few times and I can comfortably say I won't hesitate to come back. All the staff is wonderful, ambiance is great, and the food is appetizing. I've had the salmon, crab cakes, chicken tenders and steak frites before. None have disappointed but on this particular visit I had gotten my usual, steak frites. That had to have been one of the best meals I've had here. I lean towards fattier steaks and this piece had the perfect amount of fat. Not too much and not too little. This was my first time visiting this location, and I was really impressed by how beautiful the restaurant is. My friend and I started with the cornbread, which had a slight kick and was absolutely delicious. I actually had to stop myself from eating too much just to save room for the main meal. My friend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but we were seated shortly after we checked in with the host. There was ample parking around the restaurant. Our server Amari was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered the Barbeque Pork Ribs and to our pleasant surprise it was this full slab of flavorful slow cooked, crisp on the outside and fall-off-the-bone tender, served with shoestring french fries, coleslaw and barbecue sauce. I of course had to partake of this delicious dish. The entree I got was equally delicious. The Short Smoked Atlantic Salmon was this generous portion of flavorful smoked and grilled salmon topped with mustard sauce. It came with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. We enjoyed every bite! My job took us to Copper Canyon to celebrate Principal's Appreciation Month after work. We were a party of 12 or so. As a group, we had a couple of appetizers (Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and Chips and Salsa). That was the first spinach and artichoke dip I have ever had that had nice chunks of vegetables in it. I could literally taste/distinguish the artichoke which I loved. I had the fried fish and substituted sweet potato fries. It was pretty good. My wife and I stopped by for a lunch date and kicked things off with the peartinis--because we never pass up a good pear cocktail. Asha, the bartender, was incredible--she made and served our drinks both times and had such great energy! The bar area was clean, calm, and surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening, which we really appreciated. The Crab Dip was Very soupy with not a lot of crab meat so I felt a little disappointed with it overall, but I must say we both enjoyed the egg rolls they were Delicious. For entrees my lady ordered the Steak Frites prepared medium, with mash potatoes and sautéed spinach. I ordered the Roasted Half Chicken , mash potatoes, and a house salad . Overall the entrees were pretty Good nothing really to write home about, but I would rate the whole experience a 8 out of 10 because of the Service and Atmosphere. Today I went to Copper Canyon in Woodmore Town Center with friends. I haven't had the Prime Rib in a while so I decided to have that for lunch. They had a live jazz band playing softly in the corner. However, if you require any special seating accommodations, it is recommended that you call ahead. We had a situation last night where the original designated seating could not accommodate our group. The hostesses didn't seem equipped to "shift" and make a decision that could fix the conundrum. However, a manager was asked to step in and we were taken care of. We were actually seated in a private room. Upon initially sitting in the space, it was very cozy. However, it eventually got a bit chilly. After several requests to adjust the temp, we were still uncomfortable. I am not sure if the cool air blowing also caused most of our meals to be lukewarm at best. Also, a few people in our party complained of the food not being well seasoned. I will say, the salmon, pot pie, and collard greens were home runs! Don't hesitate to visit and form your own opinion. It was served with a small amount of tortilla chips though but when asked they brought plenty more at no extra charge. Had the rotisserie chicken entree with mashed potatoes and green beans. If I visit Maryland again, I wouldn't stop by even though she made every effort to make up for the negative experience. Food Ribs were hard on both ends. Center of the ribs was dry and chewy. Title: A Redemption Rack of Ribs at Copper Canyon Back in town on business and decided to give Copper Canyon Grill another shot after a so-so experience about eight months ago. Last time, the atmosphere was great, but my meal fell flat. This time? Let's just say I found redemption in the ribs. The ambiance is still as elegant and polished as I remembered--perfect for an upscale dinner that doesn't feel stuffy. I went with the barbecue pork ribs this round, which came with shoestring fries and coleslaw. The plate arrived piping hot and looking like it belonged in a magazine spread. And the ribs? Oh man, they didn't lie--meat fell right off the bone like it was trying to impress somebody. Tender, flavorful, and just messy enough to remind you that you're still eating real barbecue. Nice touch here: they brought a warm, damp washcloth after the meal to clean up, which I thought was a thoughtful gesture--especially after tackling a full rack of ribs. The shoestring fries were the only weak spot for me. Just a personal thing--I think wider-cut fries would've been a better match. The coleslaw, though, was a win: moist but not runny, crisp, and just tangy enough to complement the richness of the ribs without overpowering anything. I also ordered a mixed drink, and once again, the cranberry element was practically on vacation. But my server, Matthew, was quick to make it right. He brought over extra cranberry juice without hesitation--even though it was a busy Wednesday night--and handled everything with great professionalism. All in all, much happier with this visit.
