We are staying at the Holiday Inn. Went inside to order. All the tables had soapy soaking wet tops, there was not one dry table. We decided to get the order to go. While waiting a woman came in because her order was wrong, mentioning that they always got her order incorrect. We should have asked for our money back then. As we got on the road we realized not only were we missing an order of fries our food was not even warm. Even the hamburger patties were room temperature. Since it was raining we just kept going back to the hotel. The kid that took our order was out of it, laughing while having a hard time putting in our simple order. I believe he was high. Had the worst drive through experience. While ordering there was screaming inside the restaurant from employees. After repeating my order a few times I was worried it would be wrong. She was rude on the speaker. Felt like we were an inconvenience. She stuffed 4 meals into one bag and shut the window. I didn't leave as we didn't get our drinks. Long wait for a so-so salad with bacon it looks like they gathered from the bottom of the bin. Bacon was disgusting, see pic. Also, asked if southwest ranch is spicy at all and cashier at window lied. I had before and it was somewhat spicy but I listened to her and now I'm not eating the salad. Terrible customer service. I was trying to order and after ever item I asked for he would say the totally and tell me to come to the window, when I wasn't done ordering. When I get to the window the guy has his pants half way down his butt and his underwear is showing. He also has air pods in his ears and having a whole conversation (cursing) to who ever he was speaking to. The manager was working and never once said anything to him. The he food looked like crap. OMG, what has happened to my Wendy's?? Stopped in for late lunch today at 230; all the floor behind the counter was littered with fries and empty containers. There was a bad smell -- seemed likely from burnt oil -- that ended up attaching to my meal. First burger -- not what I ordered . The double that I did get was hard, overcooked, dry and flavorless. I walked in and a guy was sitting in the customer area I assumed he was a customer. Nope he was the counter help. I do want to say that he was very nice but I was a little put off by the fact that he was in basketball shorts, and a hoodie while serving me. Wendy's is one of those places you eat at when you're traveling and want a decent hamburger to fill you up on the go. My husband, father in law and I popped into this specific one on our way to Florida tonight and it was.....eh. There was one worker who I adored because he kept shouting the quote:"Service with a smile!" and I absolutely loved that and believe that more restaurants need that constant reminder. The cashier was nice too, she seemed relatively new, because she didn't quite know the menu, but I'm very patient with new employees so I understood. She was fast at taking our order though and the food came out it a good timely manner, except for the fact that she spelled my name wrong on the ticket. LOL! My name is hard though because it's a common name, with a non-common spelling. Which I actually got a kick out of because she tried, Atleast she left off the 'h' which would have drove me nuts!! Anyways, our food wasn't that great. I should have taken pictures but the pictures wouldn't have proven anything. I order the chicken jalapeño sandwich just to try something new. I originally asked if it had mayonnaise on it because it have a strong dislike for mayo and if it's on my food in anyway shape or form, I will not eat it. She said no, but that it came with some sort of jalapeño sauce. The jalapeño sauce was terrible. I did not like it at all and it literally tasted JUST LIKE MAYONNAISE but with a kick. ‍ That is nobody else's fault but my own but it was just, I couldn't eat it because they put ALOT on there, it was like a whole glob. My father in law got a barbecue burger and he said it was awful. There was barely any barbecue sauce and the meat was cold. My husband got the spicy nuggets and I shared those with him but they accidentally gave us one , just one regular nugget that we were pretty amused with. Wow! This Wendy's was nothing less than AMAZING!!! I walked in for dinner around 5:30 with a group of about 45 students on a senior trip from Concord, NC. We were on our way home and stopped to eat. We ran into a few snags and random issues on our trip down. The seniors are exhausted, but patient and happy. This Wendy's stepped up and provided us great service. I want to compliment the manager, Tiera. She opened another register, assisted the senior students and constantly checked on us; all with a smile on her face. I was very impressed that every single student's order was correct and anything they asked for or requested was done immediately. AND we were in and out with in 35-40 minutes! Impressive. This Wendy's definitely isn't the best Wendy's I've been to. Every time I I get a burger from here, the bread is either stale, or the burger just isn't fresh at all. I will say that their Chili is absolutely outstanding though. As for wait times, usually in the drive through it is slower than most fast food places, but not all of the time. The menu is over priced too, almost $3 for a large drink which is crazy. I recently came here and got a huge attitude from one of the employees, when she was the one who rang my order up wrong. This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. They were out of just about every soda in the machine accessible to customers, the food took forever, and both iced tea containers were sweet tea. I informed the staff that they were out of soda and did not have unsweetened tea and was given an eye roll as I asked them to empty the cups and refill with unsweetened tea. So I just went to this Wendy's through the drive-thru. First the worker showed me a half-filled frosty that I had ordered and said that their Frosty machine was being stubborn. She did tell me that they had another machine so I assumed they would be filling a new frosty or completing that one. Got our order, started to pull out of the parking lot, and realize they only gave me half of my order. I had ordered a number 1 (medium) with a frosty; a number 2 (medium) with a frosty. All I got was the number one with two frosties but only one frosty was full. When I went back into the store the workers at the cash register were polite however the manager was rude.
