While this was not the place we were thinking about stopping for lunch during our thousand mile drive home, the local CFA had a line that wrapped not once but twice around the store which meant that Firehouse would get the nod. First two obvious points: 1. This firehouse is indeed connected to a jewelry store. Nothing inherently wrong with that but like another Yelper already mentioned, it just looks odd. 2. This Firehouse has a drive thru window. The two Firehouse locations that I've got near me at home are both drive thru free and with how long they normally take to render an order I couldn't imagine placing an order that way. Maybe this location magically can turn things out faster but I wasn't going to chance it so I went inside. Normal ordering process that was non-noteworthy. Unlike the locations that I normally go to at home this location does a "special" medium sized sub of the day for $5.55. This worked out well as the Saturday special is the #1 Hook and Ladder and half of our group wanted that one. The order itself, which also included two #10 brisket sandwiches, was ready in about eight or nine minutes which wasn't bad as they had a steady stream of people coming thru the door. Flavor wise everything was as expected and the only half negative was that the cooler with bottled drinks was essentially empty with only chocolate milk in there. Sure this chain is priced more than Subway but the trade off to that are the subs which actually have that crazy thing called flavor. Is it worth the couple extra dollars to come here versus Subway? Eat here twice a month. I love the firehouse sub on a roll. Always the same every time. Eat there twice a month and my wife does too.

Of all the firehouse subs we have enjoyed all over the Southeast........... this one by far is the worst......... we needed 3 sandwiches with a few ' dont put that on there' requests...... so rather than try the drive thru we wanted to make sure we got everything correct with face to face ordering............... so we went inside we ordered .......... and then the show began ..... lol ....... 5 people working behind the counter and 2/3 sandwiches were not what we ordered and the third sandwich took 30 minutes for them to finish ( and it was not complicated at all) one sandwich had no jalapeno, oooooo tough , one sandwich had no mushrooms , again a super tough task lol , and the third sandwich was basically no mustard........ not sure why that took 30 minutes......... only 1 out of the 5 people working seemed to have a clue as to what was going on on as far as making sandwiches............ idk i think this is a systemic problem in the food service industry....... its unfortunate and sad and frustrating all at the same time. We wont be back will definitely vote with my dollars............ what a circus........ smh read more

I didn't get a freaking pickle. The food was good but I guess because if inflation they don't offer pickles anymore.

My wife and I stopped in while on a road trip. It's not far off the interstate and a much better option than a fast food drive through. The restaurant is connected to a jewelry store. My wife and I found that weird, don't know why we found that weird... we just did. The staff was great; polite and professional! My wife ordered a mini Italian sub and I had a large Club sub. Fresh and delicious! We were in a bit of a hurry, so at first I was getting impatient with the wait. In fairness we were in there at noon and it was pretty busy. The online ordering experience is really what makes me love this restaurant. I can order online, pick up through the drive thru, and am always greeted by someone friendly and not surprised I ordered online. I've never had an incorrect order either, drive-thru, online, or sitting inside. Seating is a little weird when it's full, but you can't beat this place when it comes to chain subs. read more

After watching everyone making piles of meals, and me being the only one waiting on food, the one kid they had making my sandwich said it took a long time because they had to heat up the oven since it hadn't been used in a while. I've only eaten at Firehouse Subs twice and I WILL be going back again. I am vegan so finding fast food that is suitable is tough. I ordered the Mediterranean Sub without chicken and cheese and it was amazing. Nothing like any sub I've ever had. Definitely unique. The guy that took my order (not sure of his name, but is bald with glasses), was very attentive and even apologized for the wait after they had to fix my sub because they put cheese on it the first time (but didn't serve it to me). First time eating here. 8" sub for about the same price as a subway 6" and way better IMO! I had just the sub and that was more than enough for me. The ingredients were of good quality and not just cheap tasting out of the package kind. Will be eating here again. read more

Prices are comparable to all sub places. This is my first time at this location. Overall I was pleased. Customer service was good and my food was ready very quickly. The only hit I would give this place is that it could have been a little cleaner. By no means was it disgusting, but just a bit more well kept would have been better.
