This particular location is sub par. The employees are hit n miss on service. More than often the food order will be wrong or below standard. Customizing your order sometimes helps but is not a guarantee. The dining room is also hit or miss on cleanliness. We have never really seen it sparkling clean. Now we have more options and have been visiting the others when craving fast food because they are better in all areas (food, service and cleanliness). I was behind a man waiting to order and you can tell she got annoyed and started to hurry him along by making hand gestures. Then when it was my turn she didn't even ask me can I help you she just looked at me with a blank stare. A young man was making a sandwich and she looked over and saw he put what she thought was too much black olives and she proceeded to berate him in front of me and another customer about how he put too much on there. He told her well they paid extra for the olives and she said no! That's too many. Olives are expensive. She started aggressively removing all but a few olives. I feel that the way we treat young people in what could be his first job could shape the way they feel about the work force and may push him away from working. Her behavior was rude and she lacked customer service skills. Not to mention that she was wearing a hoodie and in no way had the subway uniform on. The only way that I knew she worked there was that she was behind the counter. She could use some coaching on kindness, professionalism and customer service. It was only her and the young man working. I wanted to tell him to hang in there but unfortunately he was so defeated that I didn't want to even let him know I heard her belittle and berate him. If you are the young man that works there I am sorry I didn't speak up for you and I am sorry that you have to work with someone that is so rude and unprofessional. Customer couldn't figure out a coupon, employee comes over and pushes it through for him, then afterwards the manager runs out from the back and up to their table while yelling across the store for him to come back with the coupon. The free fries are not worth losing your job, Nicole -- let the man and his family eat instead of causing a store-wide scene over a $3 fry. I have come upon the staff cleaning on more than one occasion. Everyone who works there is polite and helpful . The prices for gas are average. EZ exit EZ entrance. Plenty of places to park after you get gas to go into the shop. The station is always busy. The product is always fresh. It's convenient and well priced.
