It was extremely thin and unimpressive, which made the whole sandwich feel underwhelming despite the good bread and toppings. The Dominican hot dog was even more disappointing. I had high hopes for it, but it tasted like a generic, water-filled beef dog you'd grab from the convenience aisle at Market Basket. Nothing special or "Dominican-style" stood out. For $45 total (two chimis + one hot dog), I expected more from their signature outdoor offerings. The food I saw being prepared inside looked like standard fare, but the outdoor Dominican items I came for didn't deliver. While the meat was delicious and tender, it could have had even more seasoning on it, and there was an unexpected amount of fat on the shank.
