This is a counter order place with delicious, healthy bowls with options like hatch chili farro, salmon, kale caesar loaded with cashews, herb brined chicken breast, falafel, umami broccoli... Just so many good choices! And then at the same time, they serve fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. And the prices are very reasonable. I got two sauces with my bowl and didn't end up using either because everything had so much good flavor (yep, brought those home). My sister and I showed up at lunch and got easy parking just on the other side of the street. We ordered at the counter and as it was our first time had a number of questions. The staff was super helpful and my food came out much quicker than I expected. They have lots of coffee and other specialty drinks but there's also water available in the counter area where you also get your silverware and napkins, a perfect arrangement for us heavy water drinkers The decor is funky and fun and definitely heavy on a chicken theme. I try out a lot of good places but this is at the top of my list of restaurants I need to return to soon. Thought this place was really fire. The lady at the register was super friendly a d get some good food recommendations, even let you try a few of the prepared items. I had the chicken honey, which was excellent. Son had the chicken tenders which were very good. I also had some corn dish which was pretty great as well. Definetely will check again. read more

As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! WOW!!! This chicken is no joke - It's some of the best chicken I've ever had...and I've eaten in the South - where they know chicken. We ordered the chicken sandwich and split it. (but got the sauce and cole slaw on the side - which I would recommend personally). The slaw was not good imo. I don't know if this batch was off, but a good slaw should be vinegar based...little bit of a sweet flavor to it - this tasted off...but since it was on the side, I just tried a few bites and then tossed it. The sauce is good-I think that is Thousand Island/Russian dressing-based and I like it-but since I brought it home we just put mayo on it and that is amazing! I think I saw smoky mayo as an option and we hope to eat in restaurant sometime and I will try it then and update our review. We also got a large chicken finger and split that. Two of us didn't need to eat all the chicken since we split the sandwich and weren't starving...I thought they gave us a fair amount of chicken...hope they don't change that. I think right now they are at a fair price point-not cheap but in line with what you would expect given the cost of food these days. Anyway, the chicken fingers are amazing. The best way I could describe it is if KFC original chicken and a fancier fried chicken place had a baby...that is the taste-refined but not so refined that people who like fast food won't like it. It's so tender it must be brined for awhile. 5-stars. Can't wait to try it for dinner with mashed and a biscuit. TLDR - Excellent chicken. Good Nan sauce. Nan's Kitchen has been a very popular farm to table eatery in Metrowest and North suburbs of Boston, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Their fried chicken sammies are their staple. They started out in Stow, and the place has really taken off with other locations in Southborough (former Wendy's) and Westford. They've also operated other restaurant concepts (Mediterranean, Mexican & Italian cuisines) in Sudbury. Recently, I decided to place an online order for breakfast pickup to the Nan's Kitchen in Andover since it's about 25 minutes from my place. The pickup time was quoted for 30 minutes, great timing. My food was bagged and ready in the quoted time when I walked in. There is table seating along the walls opposite the counter and prep kitchen. I ordered 3 items including the BYO Egg Breakfast Bowl with scrambled eggs, farmhouse potatoes, broccoli, North Country ham & a small cup of tzatziki sauce ($10.95 plus tax), Chicken & Biscuit ($4.25 plus tax), and Grilled Cinnamon Brioche ($2.95 plus tax). The breakfast bowl had filling a tasty ingredients and I grabbed some ketchup packets for the bowl. The Fried Chicken patty (very hot) with honey on the warm buttermilk biscuit was really great. The thick buttered grilled cinnamon brioche was warm, with soft texture and not too sweet. It wasn't messy at all. Overall, the breakfast food was very tasty and filling to eat. I will definitely come back here for their fried chicken sammies, homemade salads, soups, and banana pudding (grab & go). read more

REGARDLESS, ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD for their drinks. The peach shaken ice tea and raspberry rose teas have every complex note they describe. I'm jaded by all the fruity drinks/tea blends out there that are just too sweet and artificial. Nan's makes it perfectly. The white peach actually shines through, which is rare in my experience. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! You still taste the tea, the fruits, the florals, it's not watered down, and best of all--not overtly sweet. Their fruit drinks have the perfect balance. It's genuinely refreshing and delicious. Went there yesterday and asked for the 2 piece chicken meal. I asked for a breast and thigh. Guy behind the counter says I can see what I have On Hand and give you that. Really?? Its a chicken spot. Outstanding service. I didn't think to order until I was around the corner, so I arrived very early to pickup lunch. I expected to wait. They were very nice to get it out quicker even though I said it was no problem waiting. Someone from the kitchen came out to accommodate a food allergy I mentioned on the the order, offering ways to address that concern. From the first bite to the last, the chicken sandwich was delicious. It was a big portion. I'm already looking forward to going back.
