I was between my side hustle shifts where I needed to eat something quickly. As this place was literally right next to where I was at (after my shift) I had no choice but to het me something from here. I wanted something light so I went with the Shredded Chicken Salad. The price wasn't bad at $8.99. You can't find a bowl of Mexican salad at this price anywhere nowadays so I was like what the hiccup. I stood in line of about 10 people (ahead of me) but surprisingly the line moved pretty quickly (fortunately.) The lady who took my order was friendly and welcoming. At least the service is not bad here. What surprised me more was the fact that my salad came out from the kitchen lighting fast! I probably only waited 2 minutes at the most. A young man who handed me my food was also nice. The restaurant was clean (which I took a note of.) It's not like I walked around to investigate its cleanliness but I could clearly see the bar seating area that didn't have any dirtiness ir anything. Once I got my salad, I rushed backwards to my car and started eating the food. And yep, I got what I paid for ($8.99). The salad was barely a decent one. The lettuce tasted old. The shredded chicken was also low quality kind. I don't believe in wasting food so I ate 80% of it before I decided that the rest should be discarded (the brown looking juice that came out from the old lettuce at the bottom truly grossed me out.) Well, like I said, I just needed something quick as I was on time crunch. The money I wasted on this gross food was only $9 so that's not bad.
