We stopped in for dinner based on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and efficient. We did not get his name, but definitely enjoyed his company. We started with the Beer Battered Cheese Curds. We would rank them up there among the top in the State, and my wife is from Wisconsin, so we have had a Curd or two. Then I had the Fish and Chips, and she had the French Dip for dinner. We arrived just after opening without a reservation (which the website suggests) but were seated immediately. Our server arrived quickly and shortly after our meals arrived. The food was fantastic and the portions were very fair for the price and did not give you too much as this was for lunch. The building is old and they have kept its beauty and decorated quite nicely. We recently visited Loveland, Colorado to see a Michael Martin Murphey concert at the Rialto Theatre. The theater is literally right next door to the restaurant. Since it was a Friday night and also a concert night I had made reservations in advance and I recommend that as it was very, very busy! Service started off sort of slow but in fairness the place was packed. Once service started it was fine. I got one of the specials. Chicken Fried Steak. My husband got a cheeseburger and wedge fries. Food was excellent! Highly satisfied with it all the way around. If you're attending an event at the Rialto Theatre, I would highly recommend this place for dinner before a show. read more

I was here with a friend in the fall. I wanted my husband to try it. Finally, we were in Loveland last week. Online said there were no more reservations that evening, but I called, and people were leaving, so we got right in. From the beginning, service was stellar. We were hungry. My husband had the Cuban sandwich. I had the pork schnitzel dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which was beets with sunflower seeds and feta. OMG! I could have just eaten a bowl of those beets, they were so good! Everything was, though. The pork was tender, likely pounded to within an inch of its being. The breading was deliciously seasoned. We took food home, because there was so much. THIS is a reason to go out. Yes, prices are higher than they were a year or more ago. And most restaurants don't seem to understand that consumers need a reason to spend - we need good service and excellent food. Henry's has it all. And it's obvious that the employees are happy. That's another sign of a good restaurant. Great food and service, reasonably priced. And it's packed, so the word is out! It's loud, but not so loud that you can't hear your companion. We yelped this place and decided in it for the walkable neighborhood from our hotel and the gluten free menu. There was a decent 45 minute wait but they use the text message service to allow us to walk around. I was pleasantly impressed by the separate gluten free menu but they did warn me they use the same fryers. Everyone enjoyed all of the meals and we left satisfied. I've given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately my experience at Henry's Pub continues to be disappointing when Devin is behind the bar. She consistently misses the mark on basic customer service. She rarely acknowledges guests, seems far more focused on making drinks than paying attention to the people sitting in front of her, and creates an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. On my most recent visit, I sat waiting for nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. It wasn't until I asked for my check because I was ready to leave that she suddenly asked if I was planning to eat. That level of inattentiveness is frustrating and completely avoidable. It's especially disappointing because the location is fantastic, the vibe is great, the food is consistently excellent, and every other bartender and staff member I've interacted with, including the manager, has been amazing. There are some truly great bartenders there who provide attentive, friendly service and make the experience enjoyable. But if I walk in and see her behind the bar, I will not stay. She has completely turned me off from being there when she is working. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the rest of the team and the overall experience deserve better than this one recurring issue. First visit, and we loved the place! From the outside it looked completely full (on a Thursday night), but we were seated immediately. They have a great menu full of my kind of food. My wife had the Fish And Chips, and I had a Shepherd's Pie (it being a pub and all). We shared so as to try both. Fish And Chips was the home-run order - it looked amazing and tasted just as good. The fries are lightly seasoned but are so good that I ate them as-is (no condiment). I'd recently had fish-n-chips at The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, and that wasn't bad, but this is on a whole other level; "Perfect" seems appropriate. I enjoyed my Shepherd's Pie for variety's sake, but was openly envious of my wife's order. We both had Killer Boots beer, and it was good but not a new favorite. On tips: A recent review basically said "the service sucked but I tip 20% no matter what". That's as wrong as you can get! Good service deserves to be rewarded, and bad service should be discouraged in a meaningful way (monetarily). I was a little put off by the 3 tipping options - 20%, 22%, 25% - fabulous service deserves only 5% more than lackluster service? But, speaking of service, we were really impressed. Pretty good lunch place in Loveland. Waitress didn't give my wife the option to hold the tomatoes, as they just 'come on the side', which means the juice gets into everything. I said I had a tomato allergy, so they did leave them off my plate, but they also left off everything else...lettuce, onions, and pickles, so I had nothing for my grilled chicken sandwich. My wife liked her quinoa burger, even though the patty was thin. My daughter liked her sourdough burger even though it was rather messy. Fries and tots were good too. Amazing! Off street parking, which a.bit tricky but we found some. The wait was about 20 minutes, but the bar was first come, first serve, self seat, and open, so we did that. I'm glad we did.
