Likewise, this Wendy's seems to be a Grubhub/UberEats/DoorDash hub - leading to a backlog of orders that the employees have to deal with. The food is about what you would expect from a Wendy's - cheap, filling, tasty, but super greasy. My boyfriend and I went to the drive through of this Wendy's location the night of July 21st, 2026 and there was a disrespectful cashier named Ana. My boyfriend was in the drivers seat and asked for a spoon for his frosty and she gave it to him without saying anything then while we were waiting for the rest of our food, he was feeding me the frosty. She came back to the window during that and gave us the rest of our food and said to my boyfriend "here you go, honey." She looked around our age (between mid 20s to mid 30s) and didn't have a southern accent so her calling him that was weird especially after she saw him feeding me. I work as a server and I would never call a guy "honey" in front of his girlfriend, especially not after I see him feeding her. Ordered through Uber Eats, ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger, 10 piece, barbecue nuggets, large Coke and a large fry. I did not receive the junior bacon burger, and the barbecue nuggets were not thoroughly cooked to the point where after eating two nuggets, got was violently sick not to mention there was a long black hair embedded in one of the nuggets . I immediately through the food out. I tried dealing with Uber Eats, who was extremely unhelpful and said to contact the store . I had called the Wendy's location we ordered from I talked to the manager, who at first seem extremely irritated to even be talking to me and even said to me. " I'm busy helping other actual customers so I can't just help you." I explained to him what was going on. He said that they are trained into cooking the food properly, so he didn't understand what I was trying to say. I told him I just wanna make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else because I could not get a refund on the disgusting food that we received normally I do not do takeout like this. And considering nothing was really done about the situation I will be contacting the Board of Health along with the Better Business Bureau, so this doesn't happen to someone else. For one. The dam ai ordering. It was fine by me. The thing got it right. But once I got the food that's when the problems started. One the system had flipped all the orders I asked for wrong. I wanted a large ginger ale and a spicy number 8 large combo. The employee gave me the food and instead I got a medium and still payed for the large. I told them this was wrong not once but five separate times. I had to even go in front and tell them how to do there job which I rarely ever do. They said they gave me the sauces when I didn't and I payed about 6 dollars worth of sauce for my family. Not even then after I said it's still wrong I don't want honey mustered I wanted bbq they still have me the other sause. By the time i finally gotnot right was 10 min after the order. My family was hungry and not one dam sorry. I went up to the counter after dumping out the drinks and told them what drink belonged in which sized cup and they still gave me attitude. I drove through this Wendy's on my way home today and was immediately disappointed to hear an AI voice over the speaker. Unsurprisingly, it got the order wrong, and while the error itself wasn't anything too egregious it was irritating knowing that it was not made by a human whose mistakes can be seen as an endearing imperfection. Wow, just wow. Never have I been to a restaurant where I can kill an hour of my time without receiving a single calorie of food. The DoorDash drivers were really making themselves at home during these extended wait times. They were even allowed to take off their shoes in order to feel more comfortable! Talk about hospitality! I found the blood on the floor to be a nice touch as well. As other reviewers have mentioned, be prepared to wait for your order and be sure to check everything before leaving. I've been here a few times to order sandwiches and salads from this Wendy's. On each visit, I've had to wait at least 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready. There are at least 12 orders (not including drive thru) ahead of me when I arrive here as seen on the screen above the counter. The other customers seem frustrated, but accept the long wait times for their orders. The staff here seems overwhelmed each time. I've been to other Wendy's which are as busy as this one, yet the other stores seem to get my order done quickly, in particular the Concord, NH Wendy's during lunch rush. My order (ie a Taco Salad) there is usually ready in under 3 minutes. Here in Medford, it took close to 20 minutes for the same thing. The only thing good about this location is the menu pricing, which is lower than some of the other Wendy's in the area and the locations near my home. read more

So tonight I got off my eight hour shift, drove to wendy's and there was a super long drive through line (starting to block the parking spots against the building). I said screw it, parked and ordered on the tap screen. I sat in the wendy's for half an hour waiting for my food, I watched my stupid spicy chicken sandwich sit in the window with a line of 6 others because people were not packing the orders of the people inside the store. After half an hour, my name being shown as ready and then waiting another 10 minutes I was given my food and left. There was no line outside anymore, literally only the person ordering. This was ridiculous everyone inside was unhappy, worst experience i've had with fast food service thus far. This restaurant is a total disaster. Everytime I come here, the line is anywhere from 5 to 15 cars deep and it takes FOREVER to get food. And I don't mean once in a while on a busy Saturday night: I mean always. Then, when you DO finally get your order, it's either wrong, cold, stale, or missing an item. The soda is flat and flavorless, and I wouldn't be surprised if that machine had a few cleanings skipped. Also, while I dont need five-star service at a fast food drive thru, it's hard to shake the feeling that some of the crew appears almost openly contemptful of their customers. It's a very hostile vibe. I don't normally review fast food locations or have super high standards for them, but this place is so consistently terrible at what they do I felt obligated to let other people know. Visited my friend that lives 2 minutes from this place. We were in a hurry so we just went for the drive thru. We ordered and didn't wait that long since the lines wasn't long at all. Grabbed our food from the window and just stopped at the parking lot to eat the food real quick. When we grabbed the food we got we can't even tell what we ordered and it seemed like we ordered the wrong burgers. They didn't even give us a straw for our lemonades and on top of that we waited for our burgers for like more than 5 minutes. When it wasn't even that busy in the drive thru. It wasn't a big deal but we felt like what we got wasn't supposed to be our burgers and mine was the avocado blt but it was so spicy and I didn't know. When I came looking for a drink the straw wasn't given to us like I mentioned above which made it worse. Oh well! Thank god I don't live in this area. And I don't really go for burgers for the most part so atleast that's a good thing for me. It was late night so we must have been bothering her break. When we got the food and went home realized that 3 things were missing from the order. Sooo annoying!! Went in this afternoon with my mother for a quick lunch ( 2 small salads). the store was not busy and we walk up to the counter. The lady who barely spoke English took our order. After that she walks over to the kitchen area and starts to chop up chicken to put on our salads. At this point my mother noticed she wasnt wearing gloves (after just touching some money) and she spoke up and said something to the woman. The Lady got all upset telling us she had no idea what we were talking about and she knew how to do her job. I informed her i have a ServeSafe (which i do) and explained that by law she is not allowed to handle food when she is already handling the cash register. and if she is really needed in the kitchen are she must first wash her hands and put on some gloves. She had no idea what i was speaking of. Then a manager came in from outside heard us fighting with the woman and walked right to the back and hid in the office. The second time they charge the day after for a dollar and change with no authorization (thinking the customer won't notice it. When I contacted GRUBHU, they transfer the call to another department because they have no explanation and the other department puts you on hold and gets back with the explanation that the additional charge is a PRICE ADJUSTMENT! i live 2 mins away and would rather drive 10 mins away to everett for wendys. The medford location 100% of the times i been there are always missing a piece of the order or get it wrong. So I was really hesitant to go to this Wendy's after reading all the bad reviews but after smoking A LOT of weed, I went against my better judgment and went anyways(only place close that was still severing ice cream ) I pulled up to the drive thru and there was no line Order was taken promptly Food came out fast and the order was correct The only bad news is that I wrecked my Mercedes on the way home because I was trying eat my frosty and drive at the same time while I was stoned to the bone. Getting a meal from here is a lesson in what not to do in the service industry. You would think that in fast food it would be hard to achieve a description of "inattentive" but this Wendy's managed in spectacular fashion. The guy taking my order at the drive-thru started off fine, but he cleared the screen very quickly before I could review the order he took down. When we got to the window he said absolutely nothing. Didn't confirm the price or anything. Just put his hand out for my payment. Fine. Gave him the card. Got card back without a word or a receipt. When he gave us a bag of food the order was unsurprisingly wrong. The complete lack of attention at all was so low that it feel below my already low expectations. Don't go hear.
