    Blackmoor Salmon BLT Sandwich
    Alice D.

Came here on a Friday evening and we managed to snag seats at the bar without too much an issue. The ambiance was very much a sports bar with your typical Americana food so it fit my expectations well there. The menu had a good mix of entrees and things to share - nothing special honestly. The service was extremely slow. The bartenders were apologetic and we tried to be understanding, but we quite honestly waited about an hour for our food. If we had known it would take that long, we would've just gotten drinks and that's it - the food also was pretty disappointing. The calamari was all right and the sandwich was extremely dry and not at all worth the wait. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back for food - the vibe and drinks were probably the highlight. I would say you're better off getting dinner elsewhere in the end.

We have tried Longcross a couple times, and one of my favorite things about the restaurant is that it's open late and serves food late. The restaurant is nice and cozy on the inside, and pretty spacious. We ordered to go this particular time, and it was good but not amazing. we got the steak tips and the turkey tips. Half of the turkey tips were a bit dry, which is unfortunate. The amount of meat in the turkey tips and the steak tips was also a bit disappointing for the price. My boyfriend really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and I did enjoy the grilled vegetables with the turkey tips. There were way bigger servings of the sides than the meat, which left us wanting more. We will definitely go back.

Service! Service! Service! Alright.. so I was in town on a short business trip last week and walked to this quaint little spot just a minute away. The menu has a variety of interesting options and I was scoping out other dishes while they came out of the kitchen. I was able to chat with both bartenders while deciding what I wanted to eat. Eventually, I had them pick my mean and it did not disappoint! I had the chx enchiladas with the sauce on the side. Absolutely amazing!!! I also ordered a small side salad, which was anything but small. Next time I shall try the gumbo as it looked amazing too. Thank you to the LongCross staff! It is rare these days when you get to go out solo and have friendly and welcoming service. You made me feel like instant friends. I wish you all the best!

Food: Burrata salad was perfection. We even had leftovers so I took it to go. I got the Gaucho steak sandwich (replace french fries with fingerling potatoes), which was very meh. The steak wasn't anything special, and honestly the sandwich felt kind of soggy lol like the cheese or whatever didn't do well inside. The potatoes were good though, so I had a ton of leftovers lol because you could easily split a sandwich/burger among 2 people. Service: The kitchen closes pretty fast haha at like 9, so we were rushing to place orders. Ambiance: The place was like dead on a Sunday night (like 8pm). It does get pretty in the summer with outdoor seating though, plenty of seating inside.

It was our first time here but it was the perfect spot to watch the Celtics finals game. They have a big bar with plenty of seating as well as side tables all with decent views of the TV. There is also a corner area where the TV is projected onto a screen which is great for groups. They also have good brew options but also good menu options for bar food. The prosciutto fig pizza was surprisingly delicious. A good amount of prosciutto and they were also generous with the balsamic. Also had a great crispy crust. Bangkok wings were also delicious! We thought the jalapeño Mac and cheese was OK. It was rather bland with Jalapeños just thrown on top. Other than that, the bar tender was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

I had my Daughter's bridal shower at the Long Cross. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The venue provided linens and flowers for the tables. We had complete use of the back part of the restaurant and patio. They allowed us to set up a balloon arch and backdrop for pictures, and several tables for displays and games. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I would recommend having your party or shower there.

Great place for food and drinks. There is also plenty of parking. We will definitely come back.

10/14 went for a late evening dinner to LongCross! I've been here before but just for drinks, came for dinner with my mom tonight. The ambiance is cute, cozy and dark. The fire gives such great cozy vibes. It is dark, my mother had to use her flash light to read the menu. We came on a Monday and started with their .50c wings! AMAZING deal for some great wings, had the hot honey and buffalo. The hot honey was good and the buffalo was not a traditional buffalo. The ranch, GOOD. Next shared their new turkey tips. The meal is huge and was enough for two (we even had leftovers). The Mac n cheese here is the real deal. The glaze on top of the turkey tips was top notch. The green beans were seasoned well but undercooked and very crunchy. Our service was good but god they over work them here. Whole restaurant and only two servers, our guy was busting his butt off. Hard to get excellent service when they are severely understaffed. He still did wonderful and were appreciative to him. My mom said this was one of her favorite meals since visiting me.

You can't really go wrong! Not a bad seat in the restaurant, service is great, and the food (at-least what we have ordered) has always been tasty. My favorite dish is the Kentucky Tenders! Super flavorful every single time!

Very good food and the service was also very good. I liked that they didn't rush us out and gave us time to decide on entrees'.

The short rib poutine meat was way over done and there was not a lot. Kind of over priced for what you get. The chilli was good tho.

I ordered a draft beer from a large selection of drafts and bottle, cans options. It was Jack Abbey beer... pint came 3/4 full as left a large head on beer and better for establishment pours 12-14 oz in a 16 oz glass.. Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips . I wanted my spinach on the side with a garlic oil next to sone grilled oil drizzled roasted peppers . I don't consider these some of Boston best but certainly not the worst .

It's still Tree House's beer but it's kind of bastardized. Imagine putting a Michelin star restaurant in a food court next to a Chic Fil A. It loses some of its luster. I went up to the makeshift portable bar and they had I am guessing 8-10 beers on tap. No flights. So, I ordered the girlfriend and I each a beer which were poured into plastic to-go cups. She got a Julius and I got an Ultimate Haze, both excellent. The atmosphere is just open mall area and then an outdoor atrium, both kind of blah. There was a kiosk to buy gear and a cooler around the corner to buy canned beer to go. Next time I will rent a car and go to one of the real brewery locations but for now I will be thankful that I could basically get a Julius hazy IPA next to an Orange Julius. Ha!

My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. This was dessert or breakfast, depending on your perspective, in a glass. I also got a hazy IPA, a peanut butter stout, and a hefe. All were really good. For lunch I got some honey jerk wings. They usually have at least one good cider but more recently, they have been "out." With so many great cideries in New England, it's disappointing that they don't have a collab with one of them. I mean Downeast is just just across the Harbor!!! With that being said, the food is awesome. Our favorite go tos include: the jalapeño arancini, the roni' roni' pizza, the cobb salad, and the fish tacos. I will say for having "roni" twice in the name, they could throw some more on top of the pizza. Regardless, the dough is perfect every time and we always get it with a side of the spicy ranch. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy another meal here! If you're in the area stop by to check it out or if you're heading to the garden for a game, plan to stop by before. It's so worth it.
