If you want burnt chicken tenders cold fries watered down soda this is certainly the place to go. You never get the sauce you ask and pay for. They can't even put the patties on the bun evenly. As a fellow food service worker, wth was that. We came in to try the Wednesday Adam's meal which is the exact same fries and chicken nuggets usually served just different sauce. So i am a little confused as to how we waited 15 minutes just to get a frosty alone, nothing else. There were 4 orders. That's it. The girl in the front had like 5 opened empty bags waiting and a bunch of drinks with nothing coming out. All 4 workers seemed extremely overwhelmed with the 4 orders they had. We ended up asking for a refund and to cancel the order. While we were at the register we realized how filthy the back actually was, like Jesus the whole floor was covered in fries and nuggets everywhere. Yes I can see why this has 2 stars. I haven't been to a Wendy's in a long gregg time and it was the dirtiest Wendy's or fast food I have been to. The bathroom was so gross I went in and out. Our food was good and warm however when my boyfriend and I went to walk out the South door it was locked and there was a sign that said to not use (not a big deal) so we turned around when the lady that had just helped us yelled across the restaurant at us to not use that door after we had already turned around. We were craving salad, so we had dinner at Wendy's. Like the previous reviewer, we were a little leery because of the low ratings. However, there was no reason to worry. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, is very clean. The staff were pleasant, and our food was delicious! I the pop machine had nothing with sugar in it diet, zero and sparking water so I told that gal at the counter and she said we don't have syrups but we do in the back. Im here in North Platte for work, so I figured my first dinner here would be something easy. I got to my hotel room and ordered Wendy's thru door dash. I order a cheeseburger with everything on it, minus the tomatoes, plain fries with ranch dipping sauce, some chicken nuggets, a cup of chili and a chocolate frosty. I receive my order and the door dasher informs me that my order is altered because the store was "out of stock" of some items. The receipt on my bag indicates that this is in fact my order, as everything that I did order is printed as clear as day. I open the bag to find a singular cheese burger, with tomatoes on it, chili cheese fries, no nuggets, about 37 salt packets, no ranch, and a singular "hot chili seasoning" packet? And a vanilla frosty, no spoon. Similar to 1917 communist Russia I tried to make the best of it and just eat what I was given, only to bite into a freezing cold burger. If the burger isn't terrible enough, it's the chili cheese fries that sent me over the edge. You have normal fries, you have chili, and yet you chose violence and combined the two due to carelessness? Ignorance? A 2nd grade reading level thus resulting in difficulty in comprehending the order? What about the frosty? Not only am I being denied a delicious chocolate treat and instead given a vanilla one, but I have no way to enjoy it as there is NO SPOON. I enjoy while traveling the Wendy's salads. I saw this Wendy's had a bad rating but decided to try anyhow and the lines were long which I thought would be a good sign. However they failed miserably to meet basic expectations. The salad was not as described on the menu and they failed to put the pecans in the bag for the salad. When traveling you can't go back for things they forgot. And I had had the salad the previous day couple hundred miles in a different state and it was made as described with the red and green apples. This place is full of rude and dishonest employees. I went through the drive thru and the lady ran one of my cards twice and said it was denied, so I gave her another card that was accepted. Once I got home, I checked my online banking because I knew I had plenty of money to pay for this meal. In reality, my first card has been run twice and I had been charged a total of three times for the same meal. I called them, and lo and behold, the drive thru worker answered and I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. This girl was younger than me and I am 20 years old. She gave me this bullshit reason that their system runs the card as many times as you swipe it and it will be put back on your card at 3 am when the system resets. Now, um, if my card was denied how did you charge it?? I think that girl stole the 46+ dollars I was charged extra. I went through the drive through and when I checked my order it was made wrong. I took it back into the store and they remade my order. Upon checking it before leaving I discovered they had once again got the order wrong. So I took it in for the second time. The only thing I got was a "sorry for that" from the girls at the counter. The worst part is that this happens all the time. I'm done with this restaurant. I have given them more than their fair chance to. To me this is a sign of "POOR MANAGEMENT".
