In general, Wendy's is one of the top fast food chains in my book. I find their food always fresh, and their toppings in particular are downright luscious for the fast food category - large, ripe, juicy slices of tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, plus they add mayonnaise along with their ketchup and mustard. The buns are hefty enough to hold up to the fillings, without being overwhelming. Their soft texture and rich taste (not white Wonder buns) are the perfect vehicle for these good value sandwiches. I was in the neighbourhood and glad to find this location still operating. I was even more glad after I parked and got inside. It's been updated, and I love their soda dispensing machines. Sooooo many flavours to choose from, and I like the self service that allows me to control ice and refills. Having said that, I still prefer to order at the counter, although they do have a couple of ordering kiosks. They have a drive through at this location. I opted to dine in. Can't beat free wifi and a good variety of seating to choose from. The dining room is kept fairly clean, except for the salt on the floor, which I don't fault. The staff here were all pleasant and cheery. No way I'd go to a machine to order instead. I love their 2 for $4 breakfast deal, although I am a bit miffed that you get the $1.79 small size coffee rather than a $2.09 large. So, I recommend maybe getting your coffee apart from the deal for best value, if you want more than 2 items total anyway. This experience at this location firmly cements Wendy's as one of my go-to's for a fast food stop. Keep killin' it, girl. read more

There are two service counter plus two ordering ordering screens. Lots of tables/seating. There are two sofa dispensers that allow you to mix soda flavours, which is loads of fun. Overall cleanliness is decent, I've come here several times during non-peak meal hours.... I should not see cold fries on the floor, congealed bits of ketchup on the tables, or spilled condiments on the chairs. It's the only real harsh criticism I have for this location of Wendy's. read more

Hello fellow foodies another food review for the brand new just released Wendy's korean bbq cheeseburger ..I seen the commercial on tv so I had to try it out. And let's just say Wendy's you did it again you came through with a really nice burger Burger rating 5/5 the combination of the pickled onions that were just amazing with the unique flavored bacon and topped off with an amazing bbq sauce they used made for the perfect combination . With a slight bit of heat this burger tastes like a high end gourmet burger and not from a fast food burger joint . This one is a winner Price 3/5 only reason I am giving this burger a 4/5 rating is only because its pricey at $8 including tax for the single . If you have a chance try out this new burger its dilicious. read more

Four stars for fast food? Really? Yes! And let me tell you why. First of all, I rarely eat fast food, but I'm working in a part of town that's more industrial and I am currently without my car. So, that means when it comes to lunch options, my choices are very limited. Because I don't know the area too well yet, I just chose the closest place with food: Wendy's. I love that their menu has so many different choices - both healthy and "not so healthy" depending on your mood. I chose the Power Mediterranean chicken salad on my first visit, and the second visit I had the Apple Pecan chicken salad. Both come with - you guessed it - grilled chicken. The ingredients in both salads exceeded my expectations for fast food salads. I'll admit, I've rarely ever eaten at Wendy's before, so I didn't expect much. However, I'm impressed with what they put in them. The apple pecan salad was my favourite of the two, because it's got lots of blue cheese in it. And to top it off - Vanilla Frosty!! What?! When did they add vanilla to the menu? I only remember the original from when I was a kid. In any case, it was really good. Hands down best healthy fast food lunches I've ever had. I like eating at Wendy's restaurants especially for their triple patties hamburgers. I came on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. and there were a huge lineup. I have to wait 10 minutes to get my food. They have a drive-in service which delay the service. read more

This is the best fast food spot in the area- too bad it isnt 24hr! They always get your order right- ive really never had them make a mistake. The staff is always courteous and efficient. My food is always neatly packed with napkins, utensils, and the proper condiments. Ive never got a stale bun, or a flat pop. My poutine is never short on any ingredient. Consistency is key!!! Why review a Wendy's, you may ask? What's to know about this widespread fast food chain, or this location, at Lawrence west of Dufferin? Believe it or not, I'm reviewing their new soft drink machine. This location is one of the first in Canada to get a Coke Freestyle machine. It has so many choices of soft drinks, plus "flavour shots" you can add at no extra charge, that one middle aged man grumbled because he was bewildered (probably the same kind of guy who hates ATMs ;) I however am an enthusiastic geek, and I happily pressed for ice, type of soft drink and flavour, and went back twice. How can you resist trying vanilla, raspberry, orange, grape or lime cola or Sprite or whatever, I literally can't remember all the options. You can order all the flavours diet or regular. You really gotta try the Freestyle machine so Coke will install them at more restaurant locations. I want to say that I receive incredible service at this Wendy's. Drive thru Associate is Amazing. I have been going here once or twice or three times a week. I order the same thing every time: Half size Avocado Southwest Salad with an extra piece of chicken. It has got great macros for Keto and I have lost 65 pounds over the past year with this salad at this location being my go to lunch. I have had this salad over 100 times maybe 150 times and it has never disappointed....never ever even a piece of bad lettuce. Better than what you could buy at the grocery store. The service is sensational!!! They recognize me and my slightly off beat order now!!!! Nothing but praise. @Wendys the only thing is that health wise the dressing could be made with less ingredients and better healthier oil vs Soybean Oil. Also more Keto friendly options with great macros would be great. read more
