Two burgers for $57 ??? Too expensive for the quality which is similar to MacDonalds.

$57 for two burgers is too expensive. At 6pm on a Saturday it was crowded and noisy, we had to wait 20 minutes for our food and at-least 10 minutes to get a table. Not worth the wait or the money. I can go to the Keg and get a burger and fries for $25 which is much much better and the seating is much more comfortable. Ambiance when we were there was like a high school locker room.... there was a basketball tournament at the neighbouring high school and they arrived when we did.... screaming, yelling, and one of the teenagers punched another teen in the crotch. Never coming back again.

Rosie's Burgers is a popular hamburger restaurant. They also sell chicken sando and fish sando. Of course no burger joint is complete without milkshakes, fries, rings, and poutine. Burgers are typically 2 patties but you have the option of ordering a single patty. This is their fifth location; there is 4 in the GTA and 1 in Calgary. The grand opening was on 2025-04-12. On that day, the first 100 burgers were free. I ordered the following: 1. The Classic ($11.75). 2. Chunky Monkey Pudding ($6.00). This is their Apr 2025 special. The Classic was good. I should have ordered no onions. The Chunky Monkey Pudding was good. The pudding was a mix or banana and chocolate mousse. There are large Easter Eggs in it. It is topped with graham cookie crumbs. They were crazy busy. I ordered on a Fri 20:13. They close at 21:00. The cashier estimated 25 mins wait. My receipt has an order number; mine was 376. Order 367 was completed. I received my order at 20:25. There is a staff member who cleans tables when customers leave. Here are 6 tables seating 2 people each. There is counter seating with 12 stools. There is loud music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are two gender-neutral washrooms, and they are both wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-058

They specialize in Smash burgers, I came on easter weekend. It was SUPER BUSY, very chaotic but easy to order, The line up set could be better but can't do much when they're so busy. The bacon cheeseburger is great and not too greasy. Their fries are crazy good even when not fresh. Service was nice and kind of fast got my food within 20 mins. Ambiance is causal there is lots of top seats and only a few tables . FYI banana pudding is good but way too sweet

Mmm Rosie's has some amazing smash burgers. I had a Rosie's single and it had a perfect cook on it, tender with a slight crisp on the outside. The Rosie's sauce gives the classic burger a nice twist. It was a good portion too, one patty was enough to fill me. I got the combo with fries and their fries are nothing to look over - they're super crispy and remind me of Shake Shack fries. Lastly, I tried their birthday cake pudding; I was ecstatic to see this flavour come out as I love pudding but I'm not a fan of bananas, so was never really drawn to their classic banana pudding. The birthday cake pudding is such a treat though, it's more for the sweet tooths out there as it's basically just cake and pudding with sprinkles. I looooove it though, I hope they make it a permanent flavour!

Hard to find a good dessert in Toronto; I don't mean decent, I mean actually good that you'd want to go back. The pudding here is definitely one we will keep going back for. It's creamy, but light. There are chunks of fresh ripe banana. The crumble is delicious and not skimped on.

Just a heads up though, if you order "mild" it is still definitely spicy, but in a good way. That said, the service was a big downside. When I went with friends, the place was not even busy, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to come out (yes I counted because we were in a rush). We only ordered two tenders with no drink. For something that feels like fast food, that is pretty unreasonable. I also went specifically to try the mozzarella sticks, but we were told they had not even started making them and it would take another 40 minutes, which is kind of wild. Even when our food was ready, things moved really slowly. The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

I chose the spicy chicken sandwich with coleslaw and Cajun fries through Uber Eats based strictly on how it was presented. Delivery took a while, which I understand isn't always within the restaurant's control. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't match the expectations set by the photos. The chicken tasted low quality, with an unappealing texture and very little flavor. The fried coating lacked crispness and seasoning, the pickles looked different from what was pictured, and the sandwich overall felt hastily assembled. The coleslaw also tasted low quality and didn't elevate the dish. I was hungry and still couldn't finish more than a few bites. The Cajun fries were underwhelming as well, with seasoning that felt basic rather than bold. I requested extra ketchup but received only one packet, and the two sides of dressing came in a very small plastic ramekin that didn't feel proportionate to the order. This may be intended as fast food, and I'm open to that, but when a restaurant presents elevated visuals on Uber Eats, the expectation is that the delivered product reflects that standard. Based on this experience, I wouldn't order again and regret choosing this spot.

Overall, my experience was alright. Nothing screamed out "Oh I have to go again!" or "let me tell…read moresomeone about this!". The piece of chicken on my sandwich was a rather peculiar piece in terms of its shape. It did not provide an enjoyable eating experience. When I took my first bite, after figuring out which would be an easy bite, a piece of chicken fell out which made me realize it was two separate pieces of chicken inbetween two buns. It got rather messy after having to pick up the fallen pieces. Other than that, it was flavorful but wasn't the best I've had. I prefer Dave's Hot Chicken over this. My fries were pretty salty. If given the option, I would have requested lightly salted or no salt at all. Space was small but understandable as it seemed to be a carry-out spot. Customer service wasn't quite all that. The girl took our order and that was it. Not much of a greeting nor farewell/thanks for coming. We didn't receive a follow-up during our meal to see if we may needed anything. I would have benefited from extra napkins. My friend enjoyed his meal. He stated it was a good meal but he wouldn't go out of his way to get this. He would have preferred to uber-eats it if he lived here. What made me want to go was the name. My last name is the same as the restaurant name so I figured give it a go! Also saw positive reviews on TikTok.

Toasted bun, very nicely constructed, very tender perfectly cooked chicken. We had it spice level HOT the last time we were here and it was just spicy enough to get the lips warm but not enough to overwhelm. The Szechuan taste is a brilliant partner for this southern classic. You can eat in at the counter, or in the summer the patio is a nice place to enjoy your sandwich in peace and soak in the busy Queen West energy just up the street. Love this place, the staff give off a good vibe.
