Shake Shack located inside Yorkdale Mall, second floor right before you hit the food court. This was my first time having Shake Shack in Canada, all previous experiences were in the states. You order through the self serve kiosks and wait for your number to be called for food pick up. Pretty spacious with their seating and area. I thought it was great in taste but the burgers are surprisingly really tiny for what you're paying for. ShackBurger 4/5 - Made with Angus beef, lettuce, tomato and Shacksauce on a potato bun. It was quite tasty but very small - like the size of my small palm. SmokeShack 4/5 - Angus beef cheeseburger with applewood-smoked bacon, shopped cherry peppers, and shack sauce. Tasty! Overall, I thought the food was good and service was good. But I just can't get over how small the burgers itself were - didn't really feel like it was worth it at all. read more

When I heard that Shake Shack was doing a collaboration with Pizzeria Badiali, I obviously knew I had to check it out. So it was that we found ourselves at the Yorkdale Shake Shack on a recent Saturday morning. The ordering process via the automated kiosks was super easy and the food was ready within minutes. We wound up trying the crossover's entire lineup: Spicy Vodka Chicken Parm, Pizza Fries & Creamy Pepperoncini Dip, and Brio Chinotto Shake. Everything was quite tasty, although nothing really knocked my socks off. The sandwich reminded me of countless other similar concoctions, the fries were flavorful but way too salty, and the milkshake was definitely reminiscent of Brio (which is both a good and bad thing). I think I'll probably just stick with the superior and always-reliable hamburgers when I go to Shake Shack. read more

Came to pick up their Chicken Shack since there was BOGO deal on skipthedishes. The sandwiches came out nice and fresh and there wasn't much of a wait since I ordered on the app ahead of time. The sandwiches themselves are not very good and were quite small. The sauce was garlicky and creamy with a subtle herb flavor. The chicken breast itself was crispy but was so rubbery and dry. I also felt like they used really old oil to fry the chicken breast. Anyways, I think for BOGO, it was fine. But next time, I'm just going to stick to their beef burgers. read more

Though a bit on the pricier side, you really can't go wrong with a crispy edged smash burger on a soft potato bun! The ordering system is efficient, you can order at the counter or on an iPad and then grab a buzzer while you find a table. The Yorkdale location does get quite busy- it's a decently sized dining area but the mall traffic can be unpredictable. The staff is super nice, they help keep an eye out for seating. They're constantly helping with clearing off and wiping down table tops to reset them to keep the flow going. read more

Had an amazing experience here at Shake Shack yorkdale location on a weekday afternoon. I came here while they were having a collab with Mimi Chinese restaurant, May 2025. Food: - I ordered the Shack Stack combo with a side sauce of shack sauce for dipping. Beef cheeseburger topped on top of a mushroom burger with lettuce, tomato, served on a potato bun. YUM! Fresh ingredients, flavourful and filling! If you're a fan of cheeseburgers & mushrooms stuffed with cheese, worth the try! - Black sesame coconut shake ~ a limited edition shake during the Mimi collab and I'm super happy I tried it. Thinking about it right now, I'm sad I didn't go back again and order another one :') I enjoyed the little bits of custard, along with the super flavourful black sesame globs, and coconut shredded pieces. Tasted like creamy cookies and cream, black sesame with coconut bits. Service - order at the counter and they give you a beeper. Pick up order at counter. Quick. Effective. Relatively fast depending on how busy they are. 5-10 min wait, fresh ready to order. Overall, would definitely come back for burgers and their custard shakes. Would recommend!! read more

MIMI x shake shack collab til may 26!! The black sesame coconut milk shake was sweet and cool. The mala chicken was good and crispy but nothing special. Loved the mala fries! it was super spicy and it came with a good dipping sauce. Lining up was kind of long as all ordering pads were broken but it went by fast! You get a pad for your order and will ring when it's ready. Your name will be displayed as well on screen to see its progress. I will forever love their CHICKEN BITES. basically chicken nuggets, 100% antibiotic free and tastes rich. Please get it if you haven't tried!! Ambiance is cute, and there's quite a few seats since they replace the big cafe. Great location and easy to find parking or take the transit. I went to the Shake Shack location at Yorkdale today They are on the 2nd level of the Dine on 3 level Inside you can sit down .... I chose to take my meal to go since we had a table already in the food court Typical fast food spot and vibe Upon arrival they have kiosks that you can order your meal from You have to order everything individually Could have been simplified with an option to combo up your burger with a fries and drink instead of having to go through each one separately You get a buzzer to let you know when your meal is ready Roughly about a 5 - 7 minute wait Service was friendly which I could see They were coming around asking for refills of drinks The menu offers up everything from burgers to hot dogs You can even get for dessert frozen custard I had the smoke shack burger with crinkle cut fries and a half and half drink which is lemonade and unsweetened tea Fries were excellent Drink was good The burger was okay but not as hyped up as many put it out to be I have had better and the spicy relish on it kind of overpowered the taste of the burger Maybe I will try a different one next time Will have to give the frozen custard a whirl too But the first here was ehhhh read more

We managed to bypass the lines by going at opening, but despite the hype, service is still relatively fast. They offer a buzzers system for your order. The burger, delicious and fresh as expected! The crinkle fries were crunchy and newly fried. They have quite a few servers in the seating area, helping patrons clean up and offering high chairs to families. It's a nice added service! read more

Came for the Mimi Chinese collab and the burger, fries, and shake did not disappoint. My favourite was the black sesame shake. Wished these items would be on their permanent menu. Service was self-serve but quick and there were plenty of seating in the mall. Great overall! read more

I just went to the square one location. The burger was so small. Definitely not worth $8.49 , it must of been only 3oz burger the most. For the price you're it should be at least 5oz. That burger is only worth $4 the most. There was also no receipt at the keois also. The staff there were useless in answering any of my questions. read more

Incredibly grateful and happy that they have moved to Toronto! Yorkdale is the best idea for a location, and the quality of everything is fantastic! Easily one of Toronto's best takeout burgers. Perfectly cooked beef, cheese oozes through the beef, love the potato bun and perfect toppings. Fries and shakes are always on point! It's been surprisingly efficient and quick every single time I've gone given that it's a busy mall! Will keep attending and definitely happy Shake Shack is here to stay! read more
