I pulled into the drive-through at 9 AM and their breakfast was already closed. They could I could not get my French toast sticks and then I told her I wanted a small frosty and she told me the frosty was an upgrade. I said OK well, I'll do that and then I couldn't get a frosty and apparently I don't even know it was just like closed or something overall horrible experience. It was empty. By the way there's nobody in line and it still took them like five minutes to give me my food do not recommend don't come here. Also Emejen is not a good host. read more

This is specifically for the Wendy's on Sheldon road in Plymouth. I ordered through the app (first time) because I thought it was a good deal. I've never been to this Wendy's location and my takeaway was - always check what they put in the bag before you leave. Which I haven't had an issue with Wendy's since 2020. And mostly (after not getting it for a while) it was consistent. So, I was hungry, in a hurry to get home and didn't check the bag. Mistake. I won't be going to Wendy's for a while now, after this. I don't like to judge a place by how long they take to acknowledge you standing there or how young they look (when some young workers truly care and are awesome). But I took pause with these workers because they kinda looked like they'd rather be in hell than working there. But life is hard and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake here. I won't be ordering from the app ever again nor will I ever go to this Wendy's again. I had to throw away the bun from my spicy chicken sandwich and use my own bread. That's how bad it was. The food was normal but customers service was poor. All the YOUNG ladies with long fake hair were ignoring me. As soon as I stepped back from the counter and folded my arms. The young lady that watched the fries remained on her phone and said " KIOSK ONLY". Two more young ladies that started their shift that kept their hoodies on had clocked in on the cash register had politely confirmed what was said and repeated back to me. My question was, what if i had cash only. Would I not have been able to make an order? Are they not training or quick to think on their feet by being creative to take my order on the drive thru cash register. If I could give a negative rating I would. I don't complain often, but this Wendy's is the worst (Sheldon rd.) one I have ever went to. Never because of food issues or my order not being correct, but because of one employee specifically. She is horrible and nasty everytime I go there. Today was my Last straw! Visited a few times at lunchtime in august 2025. Employees are very rude. The woman that works the drive thru has a tone like she doesn't wanna be there and takes it out on customers. The guy who hands you your food doesn't say a single word, just awkwardly takes your money and gives you your food. Walked in, 11:15am Tuesday. Place was empty. Ordered at the kiosk. Waiting for my order, they had just put my cup on the counter and some guy walks up and grabs it. He hadn't even ordered yet. They gave me a new cup. Fountain drink dispenser said "not available" for any drink I selected. While trying to get it to work and talking to the worker, she puts my food tray on the counter. I turned from the drink machine to see some customer's unsupervised child grabbing my fries. I yelled hey...worker says, "oh, that's not your baby?" NO! Wtf. Worker did nothing. Never again. At 8:05 pm - the Frosty machine was turned off for the (Saturday) night. staff was polite in drive thru. Got our ordered and pulled over to eat in parking lot. My fries were cold, soggy, and tasted bad. My husband had good fries. I try to go inside to get new fries; door was locked. Now we are sitting back IN the drive thru to get a fry replacement. I got there a few minutes later, waited about 15 minutes until I received a notification on my phone saying my order was ready. Waited a couple more minutes but no one came out. I went up to the door and knocked several times. Saw one employee mopping behind the counter and he ignored me. I even call their phone number twice and no one answered. I drove around to their drive thru speaker to see if I can talk to some one and they have a sign saying they closed at 5 because they were short staffed. I will never go back to this Wendy's. I specifically asked for no tomato on my Spicy Asiago Club sandwich due to me being allergic to tomatoes. When I received the sandwich, it had tomato on it. I sent it back, and they replaced it. I looked and saw no tomato on this one, so I left. However, after coming home and being in better lighting, I noticed there were tomato seeds still on my sandwich, so they just took the tomato off and gave me back the sandwich. Had I not noticed the seeds and eaten the sandwich, I'd be in the hospital right now because I'm allergic to tomato. I've never had a problem like this with any fast food restaurant! Just horrible! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with some spicy nuggets and a cookie sunday. The line was quite long and the cashier was very focus and Discrete getting all the customers orders in. An older woman behind the counter got my food ready. That same older woman shouted out that she wasn't going to make that cookie sunday and then stingily commanded the cashier to make the cookie Sunday. The cashier was obviously busy with all the customers that were coming in. She went up the cashier and grabbed his arm and told him that he needs to make that cookie Sunday. It was appalling to see the older white woman grab the young African America arm like that. He asked if he was going to make the Sunday would she take over the register which she responded "no that's not my job" very appalling to watch. Food was good. Unbelievably rude service. Store manager was very condescending and actually started yelling at me and had to be physically pulled away from the drive through window by another employee. I've never seen anything like it. Also, while waiting for my order to be filled, the manager and another employee made rude comments about other customers as well. I called Wendy's corporate offices and asked the owner to call me, but I never received a call. Apparently the owner doesn't particularly care about or pay attention to customer complaints. I normally come here quite a bit and it's always great. I went through drive through 5 min after they closed, as one of my friends had gotten a frosty 25 seconds before me. She said "Gary" would be able to get me a frosty. Well, we pull up, literally a couple seconds after my friend got a frosty... and some lady comes up to the window and slams it and screams at us "we are CLOSED!!" I'm sorry, but you don't have to be that rude to customers. It was very rude as we were literally right behind our friends who got frostys. I know they were closed but we thought Gary would be there.
