The Taco Bells there are decent, but always out of Baja Blast freezes, close early unexpectedly, often give us the wrong order or leave out things we ordered, etc. We literally have never have a perfect experience with any of the Livonia Taco Bells, and we visit them often. 8/21/26 @ 1:59pm We went to Taco Bell and placed a kiosk order. While waiting at the counter, I watched the male manager prepare my wife's burrito with Fritos. I saw him eating the Fritos and then continuing to handle the food, which was very concerning and made us uncomfortable eating it. On top of that, he was bad mouthing and complaining about my order while preparing it. When I spoke with him, he also stated that Taco Bell doesn't give employees lunch breaks. Absolutely disgraceful. My son and I stopped at this Taco Bell on the way to his competition because he recently became a Taco Bell fan and wanted to eat here before his event. That decision turned out to be a mistake. We were trapped in the drive-thru for more than 30 minutes waiting for a basic fast-food order. The restaurant was not packed. There was no legitimate reason for this level of delay, and there was virtually no communication from staff regarding what was going on. The most infuriating part is that once you enter this drive-thru, you are effectively held hostage by the design of the lane. We could not leave. We could not cancel. We could not go somewhere else. We simply had to sit there and watch the clock while our time was wasted. As a direct result, we arrived late to my son's competition. A 30-plus-minute wait for fast food is bad enough. A 30-plus-minute wait with no communication while customers are trapped in line is completely unacceptable. It demonstrates a total lack of respect for customers and their time. This was not merely slow service. It was a complete operational failure. If management considers this acceptable, then management is the problem. This is my Taco Bell. I am here several days a week during my lunch break. Don't judge me. LOL I have to say the staff here are friendly and they come to know my drive through order. I like the service and they are always smiling and accommodating. The drive through line can get long right at noon, but that speaks to the quality. Everyone and their mama in Northville knows that this is the Taco Bell to hit when you want your order correct and yummy. Went there today and had great drive thru experience. I ordered 3 mini chicken quesadillas and 2 pinto and cheese. The guy Luis told me they no longer have pinto and cheese along with a few other items. I was shocked and a little heart broken since I have been getting pinto and cheese for over 30 years. However the Luis suggested I try their new loaded taco, so I did. The customer service Luis displayed was great...(he told me his name) It actually made my day to see this kind of good service in a place like taco bell. Service at this location used to be really great. They used to always greet you with a smile, had your food order ready fast and accurate, and were genuinely friendly and caring people. Now, the service is horrible. The food preparation is terrible (taco that is 90% lettuce, 8% cheese and tomato, and 2% beef; nachos that are 97% beans and 3% everything else; and food items so poorly wrapped, that they have fallen out of the paper in the bag; etc). They don't even provide napkins half the time. Another issue is the fact that they frequently close the dining room area, forcing everyone to go through the drive thru. This might not be an issue for a place that has minimal traffic, short lines, or short waiting times, but that is not the case with this place. I am not sure if the owner of this particular location is aware of the issues with this place, but I for one have seen this place go from being one of the better Taco Bell locations to one of the worst, which is unfortunate since they just did a complete rebuild from the ground up at this particular location. Updated October 2020-it's unfortunate that I have to update this with an even worse review. I refuse to eat here, but my husband was hungry so we stopped. He was flipped off after we had to return through the drive through when he realized most of his order was missing from the bag. They claimed there was "nothing we can do" about the missing food. He asked for the food or a refund so they finally made the food, then flipped him off. In addition to not wearing masks, a current mandate, this experience has turned even him off from returning to his favorite restaurant. So unimpressed with this location. I ordered a pretty simple meal the other night: pop, cinnamon twists, and a chalupa. The drive tru was quick but the food was so unimpressive. The pop was extremely flat and very syrupy. The cinnamon twists lacked ANY cinnamon or sugar and the chalupa was extremely scare when it can me to any fillings or sauce. With such terrible food, normally I would go back and complain, but fast food for me is a last minute grab and go option because I have no time. I've been visiting this Taco Bell for the better part of 3 years. It's located extremely close to my work so it was convenient more than anything else. Since the Pandemic, this Taco Bell has went to absolute poo. I continued to visit once per week even with the declining service and missing items, because I know times are difficult. Over the past month, it has reached rock bottom. Charging full price for meals, but giving a medium cup instead of the large it is supposed to come with, many missing items, not having change so they keep the extra, and so on. I'm not normally one to call, but they don't answer their phones anyways. Unless I drive back up to let them know they forgot things, they would never know. I showed up to this location to pick up my doordash order. I walked into the store and the employees said "Oh that door is supposed to be locked". I apologized and said I was there to pick up my order and they told me to pick up my order, I need to leave the store I just walked into and go through a long drive through line. I leave and go through the drive through. When I get up to the speaker, they tell me my order is timed out and that I need to contact doordash and send the order back through or get reimbursed. I ordered three burritos with just nacho cheese, shredded cheese, and beef. i also asked if they could grill the outside of them. i get my food and the burritos aren't grilled on the outside and there is an ounce of lettuce in one of my burritos (which i didn't ask for). i call them and tell them the problem and (i'm assuming the manager) lady comes out to my car and takes my bag and says she'll fix it. i get my food back and ask her if there is still lettuce in my burrito. she tells me yes. she continues to say "sometimes the toppings mix and we dont have any control of some of the toppings mixing." i told her they need to have better quality control if they are mixing toppings without control. and she said "there's only two of us {employees} in here and you're arguing with me right now." POSSIBLY WORST TACO BELL IN MICHIGAN I moved to an apartment down the street from this restaurant recently. Normally I love Taco Bell so much I have it two or three times per week, so I started visiting this one pretty often. Within a visit or two I knew something was wrong with this particular store. First, the employees are often either completely apathetic to customers at the drive through, or they seem intoxicated. Late at night when only the young men are working especially, the employees smoke cigs outside the kitchen in front of the drive through line. When cars pull up, they slowly make their way inside to prepare food. I once saw a young man carrying what appeared to be a small bottle of liquor into the kitchen saying something like, "there's only a little bit left but it'll do." Second, the wait times are extremely high. The worst part about it is that there's no escape from this drive-through line, as it's a single lane blocked with a concrete wall on both sides. After about 15-20 minutes, I've been tempted to destroy my car to get out. The worst part about the wait is finally getting my food. The order is messed up at least 1/3 of the time in a way that is completely avoidable by simply paying attention. I get the same order every time. A $5 cravings box with every item fresco, as I'm lactose intolerant (very). Sometimes "every item fresco" means no cheese add pico. Other times it means cheese on one or two items, something with pico. Sometimes it means cheese on everything, no pico at all. Sometimes I get my receipt and it has additional items that weren't ordered, no cheese, add pico. Other times it means no cheese on anything, no pico and no lettuce, as though they were passing off extra tomatoes as pico. Not even kidding, this just happened 10 minutes ago, but it's my fault for trusting that it was correct before leaving. These complaints align to my friends' complaints about this exact Taco Bell. If I ever bring this place up during a conversation with somebody who's been there, they mention the same low quality food and service before I even have a chance. TO SUMMARIZE: 1. Extremely apathetic employees 2. Very high wait times 3. Often incorrect orders (1 out of 3 times at least) 4. Low quality food preparation and service I've been to a lot of Taco Bell's in my life all across the country. I love Taco Bell so much. This particular restaurant might be the worst one I've been to, and unfortunately it's the closest one to my house. read more

Brought my 92 y/o Granny in for lunch around 11 am on a Saturday. The dining room was completely empty. I noticed, whom I assume was the manager, had a relentless cough and was standing in the front next to the cashier coughing up a storm. He did not cover his cough every time, and if he did, he coughed into his hands. The next customer in line was helped by him, and he did not wash his hands. I was really concerned about the food we were just about to consume based on this guy's total disregard for the illness he was obvwilling to share with others.
