I stopped by Savvy Sliders in Plymouth, Michigan, and had a really good experience. It's still a pretty new place -- they've only been open for about a year and a half -- but everything tasted fresh, hot, and made to order. I ordered a fish slider, a chicken slider, and a bacon cheeseburger slider, and they were all really good. The fish slider was especially tasty and probably my favorite. The fries had a light crisp to them and the flavor was pergect! My custom order took about 15 minutes, which seemed pretty reasonable, and it was definitely worth the wait. The sliders had a fresh, homemade taste that really set them apart from typical sliders you might get somewhere else. The prices were pretty fair too and seemed about the same as other similar spots around here. My order was $23 which included the custard shake My to-go order came in a sturdy cardboard box, which I liked. They also included ketchup packets, and napkins. The only downside was that it was packed so full the lid didn't close all the way. With three sliders, fries, and a couple seasonings all in one box, everything got a little squished by the time I opened it. Using two boxes for bigger orders might help keep the food in better shape and make it look a little more appealing. The staff was friendly and welcoming, there was plenty of parking, including handicap parking. I also liked that the drink station was self-serve, so you can grab your own drink and refills. They even offer catering, which is a great option for parties and events. Overall, it was a great experience with fresh food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Went through the drive thru and ate at home. Drive thru experience was pretty great, the person taking our order took a lot of care to ask about any changes to the burgers (ketchup, onion, pickles, etc) and offering different seasoning options (Cajun, salt, house blend) for the fries. They listed what pop products they have (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, lots of great choices!) in a concise manner. It took roughly 5 mins for our food to be ready once we pulled up to the window. Food smelled delicious in the car, and was very satisfying to eat. The buns are brioche and went really well with the burger. Fries were a 4/5, thicker and adequately seasoned! Onion rings were very crispy and had a lot of batter on them, they were a 4/5 as well. Overall, a good experience, and I'm excited to go again! Saw their 3-for-10 deal and decided to try a Classic Savvy, a Fried Chicken, and a Cod slider. The three were all good, but unremarkable. The buns were a bit doughy. The Classic Savvy was my favorite of the three. The drive through staff were really nice. I felt like it wasn't much food for $10 (not including fries or a drink). I've been to this place a few times now, so I thought I'd share my thoughts. We've tried almost all the sliders, and they're all really good. I like the options from beef, chicken, fish, and even a falafel slider. The sides are a bit limited to fries, curds, and onion rings, but that's okay because the sides are actually pretty good. I highly recommend the fries with the house seasoning. And the custard shakes? Oh my gosh, they're amazing! Especially the strawberry love shakes, which are perfect for Valentine's Day. Really small sliders and tenders. Liked the savvy sauce and seasoning on the fries. Wish the fries were crisper. Paid extra for a piece of Texas toast since it looked like canes - it was not good - dry and not buttery. I decided to give this new Savvy Sliders a try. I order a combo with 2 sliders-classic beef and fried chicken-plus onion rings and a drink. I don't normally drink shakes but decided to give one of theirs a try going with a banana flavored shake. I ordered everything through the drive-through. The service was friendly and quick. Each slider was a good portion for a slider. Cooked just right. The onion rings were great along with their sauce. The banana shake was great. The packaging is great it's served in a cardboard box in the style of a pizza box but smaller. Nice and insulating during these cold winter months. I agree with other reviewers that ordering online and picking it up takes longer than going through the drive though (don't understand why they don't have a designated person as a cashier). Visited on 7/10 and went through drive thru to pick up a call in order. Came home (was visiting family in town so trying to feed a crowd back at their house) and was going to feed my kid, when I noticed there was mold at the bottom of the bread of one of the sliders. I started going through the box to find the mold on another slider bread as well. I called immediately. Whoever I spoke to that day said he found it hard to believe they served molded bread because of how many sliders they sell a day. After expressing concern that my kid already ate one of the sliders (I didn't serve it to him, so I didn't check the bread), there was no "I'm sorry" or "i hope your kid is ok," the response was- "i find it hard to believe the bread had mold." I sent a pic. Was told I'd get a refund that day. Fast forward to 7/14 and see the charge posted to my card. I called back and spoke to someone who cut me off to find a manager. Amazing customer service. Anthony told me he couldn't refund my card unless the charge was refunded that day. I told him whatever manager was there last Thursday told me he refunded it that day. I guess it wasn't really a manager I spoke with at all last week, and that it's just a teenage kid posing as a manager. So Anthony told me to come in and get a cash refund, and after explaining I didn't live in the area and could not come in to get cash, that I wasn't getting a refund to my card. I have already disputed charges. And for those who find the mold "hard to believe," I've attached a pic because it's ridiculous to insinuate a customer would lie about product quality. I was there on opening day in Plymouth, looking forward to sliders done right. The staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my visit..... I ordered 2 beef and 1 chicken slider for the introductory price of $1 each. Three bites and on to the next. Me and my buddy were looking for food after the gym and tried this place. Amazing food and the guy who said he was the operator was the coolest guy ever. Service was great. Burgers are great but the chicken is definitely our favorite. Definitely our new spot to grab food after the gym. Good song playlist in the seating area as well. read more
