Came up to the drive-through behind another car sat behind him for about five minutes and he was just sitting there too, then finally waited for my turn and I sat there at the speaker for 10 minutes. No one greeted me, said hold on a second or anything. So I ended up leaving and driving around just to see someone just standing at the window doing absolutely nothing. And after I pulled off, I called the store just for them to not answer the phone. Which seems to be a pattern, considering the other reviews say the same thing. I was late to work for absolutely nothing. Smh hire better people that actually want to work. And it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon so there's absolutely no excuse. read more

This location is ran by alot of younger people with a huge lack of customer service skills. Everytime you visit the people act like they don't want to be bothered like they aren't working in an establishment where they need to interact with people. They are constantly out of basic items as well. But overall it's the lack of the cashiers even responding when you simply say "hello", "thank you" or have a "good day". Okay Wendy's in Pooler, GA. Counter employee was friendly, but lacked knowledge of some menu options (should try at least try unusual nugget dipping sauces or ask another employee to be knowledgeable for customer questions, versus just saying "don't know, never tried it"). Restaurant was clean. Tables were open for inside seating. Self-serve drink machine in service. Drive thru was packed, but inside service was quick. The bacon double stack looks nothing like in the commercial; more like bacon smooshed burger. Fries and nuggets not that warm. So lacking in food quality. Tasted good, but kind of cold. read more

Wendy's at lunchtime is typically hit or miss. I swung by the drive-thru to grab a late lunch and while there was a long line, it moved pretty quickly. The gentleman on the intercom was very pleasant. I ordered the $5 bag - JCB, nuggets and fries. Between placing my order and pulling to the second window I waited maybe 2-3 minutes. My food was hot - you could tell nothing was sitting under a warmer! My fries were amazing. Honestly, the best Wendy's fries I've ever eaten. Great job Pooler Wendy's! read more

The only reason this store received 3 stars was the excellent customer service Jayla and Zach gave. The store is slow as molasses but they made sure I was happy. It's surprisingly a joy that you see these 2 young people with great manners. But if it was not for them I would give this store a minus 1. Terrible so very slow cold fries but Jayla fixed that also. I ordered a spicy asiago chicken sandwich and the ghost pepper chicken sandwich through the drive thru. I asked for no tomatoes or lettuce on the asiago. On my receipt they got everything right. Once I got home, I saw that the asiago was ice cold, with wilted lettuce, a soggy tomato, and day old crumbs of burnt bacon on it. The ghost pepper sandwich had bacon on it which is not included, and was a bad surprise as I do not eat pork! The service was terrible, and slow. The people are lazy and I'm disappointed this is the only Wendys in town. Will not be going there and do not recommend them at all. read more

I'm not typically a fast food eater but I decided to try this Wendy's one more time ( my first experience was mediocre). The drive through was full and backed up so I went in to order carry out. As I stood at the counter a few folks came in to return food items that failed to meet their expectations. I ordered a large strawberry frostie and a chicken ranch wrap. They had no large cups so they gave me two cups but never advised me of this until they handed them to me. Both cups were given to me overflowing with the lids unsecured. I had strawberry frostie all over everything in car. The wrap came with no ranch on it or in the bag. I felt like I was being handed slop by people who really couldn't any less. read more

I swear on everything that I possibly can that if this Wendy's location EVER got an order or charges correct that Jesus himself would come down from Heaven and begin the rapture. That's unfortunate, because if that were the deciding factor then it would never happen. After at least a dozen visits since they opened this location they finally get some of my time for a review, because this time they really messed up. They didn't put a toy in the happy meal for a little girl that was so excited for it, they didn't put bacon on my burger for an American who was really craving a bacon burger and they did put bacon on a baked potato for somebody who explicitly requested no bacon. The French fries taste like they took a day trip floating down the great Salt Lake. 80% of the time the customer service here is nonexistent. If I were a betting man I would say the franchise owner for this Wendy's is also the owner of the Pooler Starbucks. They both equally don't give a crap about timeliness, customer service, quality (which is ironic because they have a whole BS phrase mounted to the building "secret ingredient"). Helen Keller would be a better hiring manager than whoever they currently have doing it there. Please keep in mind that I do realize that this is fast food and my expectations are low and realistic. We visited the Wendy's on Pooler Rd in Savannah Ga tonight I ordered a chili cheese fries with the chili on the side so they would not be soggy when I got back to the hotel, (chili was on the fries) my husband ordered a lg chili and received 2 packs of crackers & a jr bacon cheese burger plain. (It was not plain) I called the restaurant many times and let it ring until It hung up on me automatically from 8:36-8:51pm someone answered the phone I could not tell if it was a man or woman. Told them what had happened and asked if someone could deliver the food to us. We have driven all day from Richmond Virginia to here. Asked what could be done for us, was told we could come back to the restaurant and they would make it right. I told them that was not going to happen. It was late, I'm not from here and all I wanted was some decent food and to go to bed. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Asked for the district managers number and name to complain. I was told to Google it. They were not allowed to tell who the DM was or how to contact them. I asked for the employees name and was hung up on. I am attaching pictures of the calls I made. This is not acceptable for a customer based service facility. I am very unhappy with the rudeness , food and service from that restaurant. We do not live around here so I do not want a meal replaced at that restaurant. I wouldn't be going back anyway. read more

I would like to give a huge shout out to Naleria. I went through two drive thrus to try and get breakfast and left both based on their customer service (or the lack there of). Decided to try one more so I decided Wendy's. I was very happy that I did. From her very first greeting she was very polite and did everything with a smile. If you have all day to wait this is the place for you. I have never in my life been to a Wendy's as bad as this one. The drive through always has a ridiculous line so we decided to go inside. We waited over a half hour to get our order take. - there was one guy taking orders and filling them. And no one looked like they were in any kind of hurry. It is really hard to fathom how bad this place is and they don't seem to really care either. I live on Biggie bags and frostys, so naturally when I'm hungry on the road I always hit a Wendy's. This was a different experience, me being a Wendy's regular, I knew exactly what I wanted. Management thought differently and proceeded to give me an additional 30 minutes to really think about. With my mind already set on Wendy's, I decided to wait it out. In the middle of my order, I was told to "wait a minute" like I hadn't already been there for 30 minutes. Finally my food was ready only to missing multiple items from my order. Overall, food was still good but the customer service really lacked. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received from any restaurant!! I know many businesses are very short staffed . My family and I waited for 30-35 minutes in the line only to be told when were were next customers to order that we can't take you order.. This happened at 8:42 pm on Thursday 9/9/21. Rude and so inconsiderate for all of us in the line. He actually didn't care one bit about any of us and said we can't take any more orders because we're clocking out. I will never not Will anyone in my family go to this restaurant again. This is the only review I've ever done. I hate talking bad about businesses and always support local. To be honest. The managers there suck. They don't care about their employees and make the food pretty sloppily in a bad day. Working there is very stressful everyday. people don't want to work. Most people really don't get breaks. And those headsets suck. We can't hear anything through them most of the time and the beeping gives people headaches. When we tell managers how we feel they get mad and act like we do something wrong. If people don't have rides to work managers complain although most people there are 15/16 and don't have cars(obviously). Although a couple good managers will try and come and get you. The atmosphere of being back there when horrible managers are there is like fucking sad because nobody wants to work with bad managers and their attitudes cause you to have attitudes. That's pretty much all i have to say. Customers i'm sorry if you've waited for you're food for 30+ minutes. We really are stressed back there and MOST of us are doing the best we can. If you want to micro manage the staff your self come here! There isn't one thing this location can get right Ex: salad with no croutons or dressing, salad without chicken or dressing, cold nuggets & hot fries.
