Man, I am almost stunned at how excruciatingly long it took for them to make two sandwiches on my most recent visit. Like everybody I have gotten used to less than stellar, fast food service nowadays given the challenge with finding good labor. But this Jersey Mike's Location really needs to reevaluate It's current employee roster. And starting with the Young gentleman who was the primary person making sandwiches the day I visited, they need to give this kid the pink slip or find a new way to motivate him because he was clearly not happy about being at work and seemingly took it out on the customers via excruciating, slow and sloppy customer service. From the time we walked in the front door to the time I finally paid for my sandwiches and left, It took almost 25 minutes. And I know you're reading this and saying why would you stick around that long but this was one of those days when I just wasn't willing to go somewhere else Simply because Service wasn't up to standards. But I should have. One of the problems is, they seemingly didn't have a good system for handling large corporate orders, while simultaneously serving regular customers. This was punctuated by two employees, consistently, crossing back-and-forth between the primary employees preparing sandwiches, which further disrupted time and precision. Three or four customers bought their sandwiches back to the front counter while I was in line because they were either made incorrectly or missing ingredients. I would definitely avoid this location if you have somewhere important to be or just need to get things done during the day. read more

I gave this place another chance (same location) and was more disappointed than the first time. I really want it to be good. Starting with the good, the staff was super friendly. There was some good banter with customers which made the space feel really comfortable. For example, I mentioned they kept it cold, and customer behind agreed 1000%, and the staffer made light hearted comment "We sweatin back here in the kitchen". It started going downhill as the wait time was not fast. There were no customers when I entered and it took a long time to make the sandwich. I didn't time it, but estimating over 10 minutes. I did order a hot sub so they needed to cook it. I think cold subs are faster. Secondly, as noted on last visit, I was not a fan of the spongey bread. I ordered the basic white bread this time. I love me some good bread. The worst part was the taste of the sub. This has nothing to do with local store employees, as they are making sandwiches per restaurant chain recipe. The chipotle mayo in my CHIPOTLE BEEF CHEESESTEAK was gross. It didn't even look appetizing (see picture). It was so bad that I questioned if I would finish it, but had missed lunch and was eating a late dinner so I was super hungry and didn't want to find something else to eat. On the way out, the friendly staff asked how I liked the sandwich and I said I would not order again. One piped up and replied, "yeah, i don't like that chipotle mayo either" and recommended the cheeseteak without the mayo. Jersey Mike is my go to place for subs! I always have my JM sub on long driving trips. Unfortunately, the new Chicken Salad sub is a Miss! Maybe I hit them on a bad day because they had to make the Salad. My complaint is there was not enough CS on the sandwich. I tasted more bread then anything. I received 3 scoops. Maybe 4 will make a difference. I made special trip because the commercial looked great. Real sandwich, not so much! My recommendation is save your money on that one. Go with #13! read more

Jersey Mikes has really been my goto for a nice salad. I have noticed they are really hard to come by, especially fresh and packed with protein; but Jersey Mike's has this covered. The 1 purchase is generally enough for 2 servings and is packed with great ingredients and freshness. This is my favorite place to stop in during lunch for a sub in a tub. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to allergies and I love the set up they have for it. Their protocol is to wipe down the area and the cutting machine, change gloves and they get out a fresh tray that they used to put the meat on to keep everything separate for slicing. They add a clean knife from the back to use so nothing is cross contaminated. All items like lettuce, tomatoes and additional toppings are pulled from another area so there is no risk of runaway crumbs being hidden. I do feel bad when I'm craving a salad and pop in during their rush lunch hour with my request but they have never made me feel bad or given me attitude. When I know some people would be annoyed to have to stop and clean everything down for a random allergy but they remain helpful and happy. Which is the main reason I keep coming back. read more

Jersey Mike's is my go to place for Philly Cheesesteak. I've never been disappointed. My experience with JM's includes stores in Spartanburg, SC, Atlanta, Pooler & Statesboro, Georgia. Every store has been well maintained. Workers are competent, friendly and knowledgeable. My wait time has always been within expectation. Pricing on items are acceptable especially when you take into account the quality of the items available. Good food, good service and a clean environment is my experience, plus they have Danny DeVito as their spokesperson. read more

Friendly staff and the restaurant was clean! I love how they cut the meat for your sandwich when you order. The rosemary bread was fresh and super yummy! Would you order a sub with just cheese, lettuce and onion? What if you didn't like onion... just cheese and lettuce? I was asked what I wanted to order, and requested a giant veggie sub. The person taking orders knew there were no bell peppers or tomatoes left. If they had told me, I would have decided not to order a sub today, which I would have been fine with. After the bread and cheese were sliced, I was told there were no bell peppers or tomatoes. I don't waste food. I took this sad sub home and sliced my own tomatoes and bell peppers for it. I have the New Jersey Mike's 3 stars because they are new. But i should've known they were going to mess up my sub when I saw and heard another lady complaint about all her sins being wrong. I knew I should've checked my sub before i left. Buy instead i asked if they add what i asked and the one of the employees said yes. Turkey, provolone, pickles, banana peppers and hot cherry pepper relish are piled high to make up the contents of my all time favorite fast casual sa-lad. The meat and cheese are always sliced in front of my eyes by an cheery sandwich master and the wide assortment of peppers are so crisp and flavorful. But let's not forget the best part- the pickles. I've been in this store twice. Once a month ago and once this week. Sandwich was good both times but sorry, $15 for just a cheese steak with no drink or chips is ridiculous. First time I went, the guy who made my sandwich was not friendly at all. He seemed very rushed and was annoyed when I didn't specify right away what kind of bread I wanted. Only one other customer was in the store at the time. Second time, different guy, same attitude. I was the only customer in the building. He seemed very short with me and was slamming the meat on the slicer while making an order that must have been called in ahead of me. Another guy came out of the back to dress a sandwich that the first guy had made. After he was done, he went back in the backroom. Not expecting anyone to roll out the red carpet but would have liked to have been treated both times like I wasn't a nuisance. Not interested in contacting anyone after the fact so please don't respond and ask me to do that. We all have bad days, but two times was enough for me. Leaving 3 stars because the sandwich was good. Almost every person I have seen working in this place for the past few years seems to be annoyed by having customers coming to buy their overpriced sandwiches. Today when my wife and I went in was worse than any other experience either of us has had here before. I don't know who was in charge today but I think it was the one who took my order. When we walked up she was like "what can I get you?" No hello nothing like that. My wife said something like "Hey how are you?" The response to that was "fine." I spent 15 years working in restaurants so I was pretty surprised at the attitude I got from this chick in the first 5 seconds. When I was ready to order I said the number of the sandwich and then was asked what bread I wanted. I said I'm sorry what kind of bread do you have. The response was "they are right up there" and pointed to the sign. Second time there was attitude in 15 seconds. After I ordered I went to the restroom. I come back and my wife tells me the same girl said something to the extent of "can you handle this before I lose it on somebody?" This was to another girl working there. Who actually was nice and was the only reason I left a tip because this was some BS. That comment had to have been referring to my wife because we were the only ones that had just been at the counter ordering. I don't know what is wrong with this person but she should be canned. Worst service I can remember and we eat out all over this city all the time. I won't spend another dollar in this store. Not worth it at all. This is a new location for this chain in our area, at first I was very excited because it is on the way home! I have visited this location twice now, and my husbands encounter there on 12/2 simply enforced my reason for the 1 * review. Last night the store was busy, so going in be expected a wait, there were three people ahead of him in line, so no problem. When it was his turn he ordered 4 sandwiches, one hot 3 cold, and three combos with the hot sandwich NOT being a combo. The staff got to work prepping ingredients and he said his hot sandwich was done well before the cold ones were complete. The individual on the register nearly forgot to put the hot sub in the bag. When he asked about the sub she re rang it (never giving him a receipt at the end) and added an extra combo on as well. When he mentioned this the cashier gave him an attitude about it, a little too much attitude for the obvious level of experience she had, or lacked as the case may be. In all he waited in line for over 40 minutes and by the time the cold subs had been finished he came home to a hot sub that was cold as well (and the store is only a mile and a half from the house) When I attempted to call today to speak to a manager of the situation no one would come to the phone. Despite this being the closer of the two locations it will be the last time I visit for until the manger had some more time to get a handle on the lack of customer service given by some of the team members in the store since. This Jersey Mikes is mediocre. It cost me $19.88 for 2 bags of chips, a wrap and a regular sub just for them to make both of my subs wrong. I asked for a #44 buffalo chicken sub which is supposed to be made with the philly chicken instead I got grilled chicken drowned in hot sauce with no ranch to be seen or tasted. Now for anyone who has gotten grilled chicken on an 8 inch sub knows that's like a hit or miss for bites of chicken. I used to work at a jersey mikes in a different state so trust I know exactly how the sub is supposed to be made. My bread was soggy as a bog by the time I got home (15 mins away). I asked for other add on to my sub that were also no where to be found. The store was not busy. 2 other people in store when I walked in. Poor customer service was also a total downer.
