OMGosh. Went to Wendy's a few days ago in Port Orchard off Bethel. It was the best fast food - ever. The burger was nice, hot and very fresh. Orderd salad for another meal, it was fresh, well packed and very generous. Tonight, coming home from Sequim, I stopped at the Wendy's in Poulsbo hoping for a repeat fresh meal. Wrong. My sandwich was cold and very dry as if it was sitting on counter for hours. The salad was wimpy and container was not even 1/3 full. Had few pieces chicken. See photo. Well. We went to this Wendy's at 12:40am. They close at 1am. While in line, a man with midlength hair and a Wendy's uniform walked out the back door and yelled 'They're wrapped around the FUCKING line at 12:45. FUCK!' And slammed the door going back inside. I was in line about to get my food and was super taken aback. Figuring an employee was having a bad night but he was yelling so loud. When we got to the window, the woman who took our card was super nice. She handed us our drink and we waited. Then, the man who had screamed fuck outside ran to the window, reached out and basically pelted my boyfriend with the food bag and said 'HERE YOU GO!' And ran back inside. My boyfriend was surprised and almost got hit in the face with the bag. Went 'OKAY?!' And the employee smirked at us from across the inside. I ordered a biggie bag meal. I choose the BLT crispy chicken sandwich. The only thing on the sandwich was a bunch of lettuce, very little mayonnaise and the chicken. I double checked my receipt to make sure I ordered the BLT, not the plain crispy chicken sandwich, that is also a choice, and I ordered correctly. I took the sandwich and the receipt to the counter and I was told that I needed to tell the cashier that I wanted to add the bacon and tomato when I ordered. I asked what about ordering the BLT crispy chicken sandwich was not sufficient to expect what I ordered? I was told that is what I should have done. I was not pleased at all. The drive-through is efficient and quick. The food comes out hot. I like that Wendy's has breakfast food too. Nice variety of fast food items to choose from during all hours of the day. I never leave bad reviews and even feel bad doing so but here we go. I ordered food at the Poulsbo Wendy's last night. I normally don't eat fast food but was exhausted and overly hungry and didn't want to cook that night so I stopped at Wendy's on my way home from work. I got a salad and a burger and when I got home realized the burger wasn't there. I called and I was super nice about the whole thing even though I was a little bummed cause just a salad wasn't going to cut it and I didn't want to cook or go back out. The manager wasn't rude but she also didn't say sorry for the mix up or anything but she said to come back for a burger. So I did tonight and got home and opened the burger and it appeared to have been sitting for awhile cause the edges of the cheese were hard and when I bit into the burger it was still pink in the middle. This Wendy's has a sign on the window saying they will not give you any ketchup (or other sauce) unless you specifically ask. I appreciated knowing this insane rule ahead of time, so when the employee came to the window I asked for "a lot of ketchup for all these fries " I ordered 3 (THREE) large fries and whatever size comes with the Biggie Bag. That is 4 orders of fries. They felt it was appropriate to give me five packets of ketchup. How did that math even work? A pack per order means I would get 4. Two packs per order means I'd need 8. Where is the logic? How is 5 packets for that many and that large of an order acceptable? I do not fault the employee, rather the franchise owner who is so tightfisted his employees are reluctant to even hand out condiments. Shame on them. read more

I Was very impressed one morning when I was out running early errands. I was hungry and stopped at Wendy's- I'd never had their breakfast menu but thought it a convenient choice. The food was really fresh, hot and good. I got a delicious egg and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich. The egg was very moist and the biscuit was perfectly crumbly. The potato wedges were crisp and hot, glad I saw the sign telling me I'd have to ask for ketchup. The person working the window was lovely, efficient and kind. Absolute trash! This place has some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Placed an online order for pickup and headed to the store, figured if I got there a bit early I'd just sit in the lobby. A few minutes after I get there another customer walks in and places an order. I was surprised by how quickly he got his order, it was only like two minutes, that's when they realized that they had given him my order by accident. No big deal, the guy and I ended up laughing and joking about it while they remade his burgers (he got to keep mine as he had handled them), 2 minutes later he's walking out with my order and his freshly remade order. Again no big deal. Almost 20 minutes later the lady behind the counter who wasn't paying any attention and mixed up our orders rudely asks me if I'm planning on ordering anything. I tell her that I'm still waiting for them to remake the order that they incorrectly handed to the other customer. Then she starts to rudely berate me and tell me that "next time you pick up a DoorDash order you should tell us". Then she gets angry when I point out that I wasn't picking up a DoorDash order, I was there for my own mobile order. She then continues to blame me for the fact that she couldn't pay attention and do her job correctly, it's my fault for not speaking up. Like I legit had 0 complaints until this lady started giving me attitude just because she failed to hand the order to the correct person. 0 chance we'll be heading back to this place. I stopped at this location at about 10:30 am on 11/25/24. I ordered my food and sat in the completely empty lobby to wait. From where I was sitting I could clearly see the toung people behind the counter joking around and even pushing each other. I waited almost 20 minutes for a simple chicken sandwich and fries. As I was about half way through my sandwich I found an approximately 5 inch hair. I looked and spotted a yound man probably in his early 20s with all of his hair pulled up through his visor and framing his face. He apparently th inks its a gashion accessory and not a substitute for a hair net. One thing I know after 30 years in the service industry is that if you get food like that once you will get it again so I did not ask for a replacement sandwich. Then I get to the next window and the employee is rude and shoving drinks into my hand. This Wendy's has always been slow, especially the drive thru. I came in at 2 pm, hopefully to avoid the rush. Big mistake. I had to squeeze by to get to the dining area to get to the end of the line. About that time a customer starts complaining about waiting 20 minutes. She had to wait longer to get her food. I was at 19 minutes when I got my food. A record for me. And never again. The lobby remains FULL of people waiting still, as I leave. Management shows no concern. read more

We decided to drive thru a fast food restaurant on our way home from Paulson to Sequim. Absolutely horrible experience. We pulled in at 4p.m and got our food at 4:37 p.m 2 vehicles in front of us actually pulled out of line and left. There were at least 5 employees that I could see. Then when I got the order, I not not had things I asked to not have but doubled. The worst is the cheese for someone whose lactose intolerance. I had to have the receipt to prove the order was wrong. Wendy's has the best salads! They are just as good or even better than ones you'd order in a restaurant and other fast foods don't hold a candle to them. Today, I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad and everything was freshly made. Crisp salad, fresh tomatoes, corn that looked to be fresh roasted, crisp bacon and warm barbecued grilled chicken. Loved it! My other favorite has been the strawberry and blueberry salad... Sorry to heartiest coming back this year (though they said there will be a new strawberry one soon). I gave 5 stars because the food was fabulous. And that is what matters. Unfortunately, the lobby had every table dirty. But the food made up for it! read more

The new beverage/soda dispenser. With over 100 drink options I can't help but be stumped when asked what would you like to drink with that. I can see the drive through lines getting long all because a beverage. And on the inside... one soda machine! This thing is intimidating. A touch screen and only one dispenser. I feel like I need training in order to fill my cup with a refreshing beverage.
