It has been a while since I've left a review for Taco Time, and my previous ones were based on my disappointment with some food I got at that time. So they, unfortunately, were not at all glowing. I have been back several times since then, and the experience has been far better. Wonderful customer service at the window and the food has been on point just about every time. They seem to be doing well as every time I come, the drive-through line is quite busy, but it's been worth the wait. I really like the simple chicken taco with a bit of their mild salsa. A big sister loves their baja fish tacos. So I will keep coming back when in the mood for this type of fast food. I am pretty sure that the reviews will continue to be positive. read more

My family uses two hot sauces per item. You are cheap and petty charging for the second one. I could understand if I was asking for ten sauces but two! It's hard to believe that an extra hot sauce hurts your bottom line. This 25 cents isn't worth the ill will it causes. read more

Taco Time has been one of my guilty pleasures and the deep fried pinto bean & cheese burrito was my thing. I would ordinarily give four or five stars to any Taco Time while mentioning how lousy Taco Bell is by comparison. But now I'm afraid to set foot in ANY Taco Time. The deep fried bean burrito apparently no longer has any cheese in it whatsoever, just beans. And it's made out of a dry powdered beans! I'm sure it was supposed to at least be a little moist but it was totally dry and powdery. 100% inedible. Now every time I drive past any Taco Time instead the "pull" toward the parking lot I've felt for decades, I get a little twinge of upset tummy. I sometimes try to remind myself they DO have semi-healthy alternatives to the deep fried burrito that's totally ruined for me now, and surely the mexi-tater-tots will always be a treat, but that dried out powder burrito haunts me, absolutely haunts me. read more

Customer service has really waned. I did a mobile order before leaving home-takes 20 min to get there. I arrive and an order is being placed-I'm told they are working on my order at that moment by the young man at the counter. I sat down and waited 15 minutes & approached the counter to inquire about my food. They said they were just going to start it. My order was for asap and here it is 45 minutes later when I finally got our 2 soft tacos. I've come thru & will randomly tip these people cause they work hard & typically are on top of things but the manager was stressed & seemed overwhelmed. Disappointed cause I really dug this place-after eating our food we got a veggie taco w about a table spoon of black beans we requested instead of the pinto...this just sucks. read more

I've recently ordered enough food for a family of 4 twice now, and the first time I didn't take a receipt so I wasn't sure if one of my tacos were paid for and missing or just missed being included in the order completely. Well, the second time in, the delightfully friendly staff-member (Jon) who helped me last time (and super nice while taking my order on the phone too), remembered me and the missing taco, so he compensated my new order. I've come here two times now. And sad to say that all two times were sub par. I came to this branch first time last year after moving to WA and it was ok. Thought it would be better second time. Sadly, I am wrong. I ordered the two fish baja combo. While service was better this time (first time I came here, they got the combo wrong and over charged me!), and got the order right, but the actual meal was cold. The fries are hot and delicious, but the two tacos were extremely bland, badly chopped thick vegetables and not enough sauce or size of fish. Pictures provided. Looks like a kid vomited it out. Not only was the taco wrap cold, it broke apart as soon as I unwrapped the wrapper paper! Had to eat it with a fork... Very very disappointed. The only saving grace is the Mexi-fries. read more

I frequent this location at least a couple items a week coming and going for lunch and dinner. Most of the time I order the same thing, chicken soft taco either by itself or with mexi fries. The food is always consistent and the service has always been excellent. The other day I went through the drive through as usual and placed my normal order and realized that I forgot my wallet and told them to cancel the order because of it. When I got to the front front to make sure they cancelled it, they said not to worry that they were taking care of it for me. I was completely blown away and thankful for the amazing gesture. I have a puppy at home with a small bladder so I have to go home on my lunch breaks to let her out and sometimes it is hard to get food especially when I do something like forget my wallet. I loved my experience here, one employee even went out of their way to let me know when the soda machine was done resetting. The only thing is, Taco Time, when you have customers order a small mexi fry and it is the "free medium mexi fry day", let the customers using an app know. I have lost probably a hundred dollars because of this, and I spend a fortune at your restaurants as it is. Kind of shady and lazy guest service. So this is a first for me to review a "fast food" restaurant. Being that I'm an owner of a small restaurant in a neighboring town I guess I can be pretty critcial. With that being said I was floored at the staff of this restaurant. They all worked in unison, very stress free environment. The staff was SO friendly which for some reason I just hadn't expected it. We were greeted first thing through the door by a gentleman who seemed to be the manager? Then the girl taking our order was so pleasant. The entire time we sat eating the girls were wiping tables and interacting with the customers even offering to clear their tables. The manager seemed to be taking a break for a bite to eat when a line formed very suddenly at the front. With no hesitation he popped up to help. Wasn't even bothered by the interruption. I wanted to grab him before we left to let him know how wonderful his staff is but he was busy helping at the drive through window when we left. Before leaving I hit the restroom and on my way caught a glimpse into the back kitchen which looked spotless even after their dinner rush. Seriously can't get over the service. Smiling, helpful, hard workers and just all around great environment. Applause all around. Keep up the great atmosphere, great management and hard work. read more

Taco Time, outside of one or two locations in Snohomish County, turns out to be a winner more often than not! This location has efficient employees with freshly made and hot food. We are generally always pleased with our vegetarian selections, and we enjoy the close proximity to the highway. Taco Time is well-known to local residents for their freshness and has been since their inception back in 1962. Every order is made to your specifications with fresh, hand-chopped vegetables, freshly grated cheese (not from a bag!) and local ingredients delivered daily. They make their own hot sauce in the restaurant each day. My favorite thing at Taco Time is the 2 Crispy Taco (w/ ground beef) meal deal, with a large side and large Coke. The best part is, that if I get two of these meals, it's barely over $10. What a bargain for a family dinner. Moved up to beautiful Washington State from Southern California. I have shuttered my fetish for Baja Mexican food and am willing to accept well intended attempts towards TexMex cuisine primarily available here. It's what it is. Had my first visit to Taco Time today and found customer service to be excellent. The food was fresh and hot. The food was not bad but not in the realm of what I'm prepared to accept in this food genre, it's not close enough. Would recommend overhaul of beans, rice, beef, and chicken recipes. The seasoning pallet is a little off on these. I wish the business good luck but will not be returning. read more

We love Taco Time for a quick Mexican meal. This is technically fast food, but it really does not seem to be in the same category as Taco Bell, given they use local farms for their produce when possible and have many great fresh options. I also like their "mini time meals", which include a small entree + small mexi fries (tots) + small drink, these really are the perfect size. I usually choose their bean options although I am not vegetarian because they are pretty damn tasty and filling! The only strange thing to me is they serve sliced tomatoes on everything. This is my fave place to eat Taco time food. It is always clean and the service is exceptional. I was even served at drive through with complements from the chef that "I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I hope you like your Tostada Taco salad " Indeed it was beautiful and tasted great considering most places would have served mushy food haphazardly thrown together - not here!!. Always been a great place to go to when I'm hungry. Yes, Yes, Yes! I love Taco Time! It's not the cheapest "fast food" you can get, but there's no disputing the flavor or quality. I particularly like the kids meal chicken soft taco. And, the Mexi-fries - I could make a meal of those. When we have company from Colorado, we always take them there for a special treat. Although they have authentic Mexican restaurants there, they are so sad they don't have Taco Time! Don't visit Taco Time expecting "authentic Mexican" food. And, don't complain when you don't get "authentic Mexican" food. Taco Time is the fast food with "Mexican" flavor and we love it! read more
