Turns out to be to complete scam the store does not close until 1 but on doordash they state that they are closed. I called the phone no one will answer. This is very poor customer service. Staff usually pretty friendly, but have come across several that just didn't seem to know how to human properly. Why do your sodas taste different than the sodas everywhere else? Like, your Coke doesn't taste like Coke, your Dr. Pepper tastes like Dr. Pepper that has been mixed with two parts water, your Sierra Mist tastes like someone spoiled a 7-Up. But I can head down to Wendy's at 176th and Meridian and everything tastes pretty much the way it should. Also, when I order a custom chicken sandwich (as in, without tomato), how is it that I still get a less-than-warm sandwich? Do y'all just take the tomato off of one that was already made? Don't be lazy. I have also had multiple cheeseburgers with cheese that was absolutely not melted even in the slightest. This is the worst of Wendy's in the Puyallup area. Trust me. We've been to this location a few times and the food has always been good. We were in the drive-thru this afternoon and the guy on the speaker seemed a little off. He questioned each item we ordered and when we asked that my baked potato be bagged separately due to a gluten intolerance he seemed a little stumped. I was surprised he was so confused considering Wendy's was one of the first fast food restaurants to have a gluten-free menu. Despite the gluten issue, I didn't think it was a difficult request. Then we pulled up to the window and they proceeded to hand us 6 cups (3 beverages, 3 Frosty's - yum!!). Uh, really? Do you think A: our car has 6 cup holders, and B: that 2 people can carry 6 full cups + food bags? I just think a drink carrier would have been common sense - but maybe it's just me. Ok, we all now that all Wendy's food, and fast food in general tastes exactly the same so this review is based solely on customer service. We went here with family after making the trek out of Eatonville, and we decided to dine inside. The inside itself is a tad dated but it's been newly remodeled so it looks a little bit better. This nice man behind the counter was the nicest fast food worker we had ever met. He was friendly, and helpful, and was nice enough to take a dollar out of his wallet for us so we didn't have to break a twenty. I don't know what this man's name was, but all fast food employees need to take lessons from the cool and amazing guy :) Afterwards, we enjoyed our food and had an overall positive experience. I have eaten at Wendy's for years....always one of my very favorites.....but not since I moved into the South Hill area. First time...ordered a double meal and a Fish on the side. Got home, no double. Called the Store Manager, and was told to come in with my receipt, and they would redo the order. I did. The Manager on duty really couldn't be bothered, and walked out of there with....another fish sandwich and fries. I wasn't ready to give up, so after a while tried again. This time it was a double meal and nuggets on the side. All the food was there, but had to ask for some sauce...and seemingly this was an unexpected request. Tonight was the last straw for me. Went inside because of the above, I had no trust in their attention to detail or getting my order right. After standing in front of the counter for five minutes....without even an acknowledgement of my presence I realized this store doesn't want my business...so I went down the street to find somebody that did. My wife and I went in for some kinda cheap fast food. I paid, we got our drinks, we sat down, our food was ready and then the little asian girl says "I'm going to need your card again. I don't think it went through." I was already suspicious by the receipt that was already on my tray, but I gave her my card anyway. This is by far the worst Wendy's location in existence. My 2 experiences I never got my order started because on drive thru "the machine wasn't working. It'll be a little bit" (30minutes passed by) drove off and guess what? The drive thru started to work again. They completely ignored us. Last night came in with my family of 4 and the staff was about 7-8. But the customers were waiting for there food for up to half an hour as well. When the order came out to one of the customers. They got there order wrong. I stood there by the counter waiting for somebody to take my order. A gentleman was playing around with the burgers and avoiding eye contact with us. He finally gave in for about 5 minutes of doing anything but interacting with the customers looked up and said "sorry for the wait guys we only have 1 cook." ONE COOK WITH 7 PEOPLE WORKING INCLUDING THE MANAGER THERE?! Bull. Don't waste your valuable time. Go anywhere else but here. Period. read more

They carelessly and groggily were taking care of someone else's order with their bags and food all over the counter. As he was talking to someone else and it sounded like he was eating. When I went to pay, he told me that he didyeven have my order. So who was I talking to??? Myself??!!! And it got worse.... after waiting for 18 minutes I finally get up to the second window and there is a Bluetooth Speaker by the soda machine - blasting Rap music. Motha F... F... F... bitch... and so on. I was furious. When a lady came to the window I asked her - "do you think that your customers want to hear that?" She said- " probably not" and then she rolled her eyes and walked away. Needless to say, I didn't get my proper order and I didn't even get my frosty this was a disaster. In a competitive world, time is money. I feel sorry for all those people in line. And for the owner of this establishment, for all the money that they will lose for this type of ridiculousness. I worked for Wendy's in Bellevue, I know it is not easy, hence the two stars instead of one. I went through the drive through last Friday before a road trip and there was a young woman with blond hair at the South Hill location, that took our order and she cut me off multiple times and gave me the price of our food before we were even done ordering. I added a drink and she seemed really upset and snapped that she would have the corrected total at the second window. I pulled up and she didn't greet me or even look at me just said the total. I asked her what the total was as I was handing her my card and she said " I said $9.84 already". I told her she has a head set on and didn't look at me so I assumed she was talking to someone else in the drive thru. We headed on the freeway and were missing both our burgers and she gave us the wrong drink. She was horrible representation for such good food. Wish I had a better review to write. read more
