Unfortunately I had another bad experience during drive-thru. Ordered thru the Wendy's app, picked up thru drive thru. Ordered two biggie bags with a frosty, they didn't have any frosty machine didn't work. Would like something to drink? Me: Not really I already ordered two drinks! Can I just get my money back? Wendy's: you have to go thru the app. Me: can I get an iced coffee? Wendy's: We don't have that either, no hot coffee either. Me: Took the L Got home ready to eat. Three chicken nuggets for both orders. Wtf!! My unsweetened iced tea was sweet asf. Let' me be real my whole order was wrong and I don't understand why they even have an app if they can't follow instructions from the app. All I can say is please do better. DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER. I placed my order through the mobile app. One item was an item that was coupon redeemed for any size drink for 99 cents. Even though I wanted a large, the staff claimed the app ordered a small so there was nothing they can do about it. I requested to speak with the manager on the issue and she refused to resolve it. Instead, she got extremely hostile and yelled at me stating "YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW YOU READ! ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE COSTING US NOT YOU!" The manager remained angry and hostile up until the point where I was no longer in the drive thru. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. No customer should have to deal with this behavior from any staff member and the manager only proved that if she can talk to customers like this, so can the staff. For starters YES, I will be back at this establishment. There are however some areas for improvement. I ordered on the mobile app and walked into Wendy's 20 minutes later. Of the 5 people rotating behind the 2 registers, not one of them addressed a customer in line until the customer asked if they were ready. Private parking is awesome and the dining room was very clean. The music is soothing upon entering the restaurant. There is a television available for those who chise to sit and eat. Wi-Fi is also available. My server was Camilla, she was very kind and attentive. I didn't see the entire menu due to my vision being blurry. I ask if they had the sausage biscuit and she said yes and informed me about the special. She is very professional and kind. Camilla makes a good impression on Wendy's and represents the chain as it should be represented. Camilla possessed the customer service skills to drive the business in the right direction and ensure repeated sales. she has the knack to ensure loyal customers as well. l I ordered the sausage biscuit special, honey butter chicken biscuit, and the mango tea. The sausage biscuit was ok, it tasted like pork. I don't like pork. the chicken biscuit was delicious and my drink was not flooded with ice. I had the medium drink and it seemed like a large. my visit was so nice so I decided to dine in, I retrieved my laptop from my car to use the Internet. I've been a customer at this Wendy's location for many many years however due to the fact that I am now more active on yelp I will be updating on many of the locations I visit normally. So this morning I decided I wanted to have breakfast couldn't make up my mind but I know I wanted to have my morning iced coffee. Wendy's has a new menu and some great options on there so I decided to visit this morning. I went with the number eight Breakfast combo with no sausage. So it's a egg and cheese on a bun the egg as you would expect taste like a microwaved egg but it's really cheesy. A large seasoned potatoes which had a great crunch and taste. For my drink I got a large iced vanilla frosty-ccino now this thing is huge and packed with a lot of ice so now I know next time I would be asking for light ice. When it comes to taste I would say you do taste of vanilla flavor but the aftertaste I'm not sure if I really liked it. One thing is for sure after a little while I'm sure the flavor will change due to all the ice. It was so packed with ice when I got home I decided to empty out most of it as seen in the photos. I also got a honey butter biscuit that was drenched in butter, it has a very rich taste. Customer service: I placed my order didn't know what I wanted but she was patient until I was ready I didn't feel rushed. When I got to the window I asked for ketchup she told me she they were still working on my fries and if I could pull over to the side. I waited maybe for 2-3 minutes and my food was brought to me. I ordered a Frosty-ccino and asked for light ice but the little head broad with the pink braids had an attitude when I placed my order so when I asked for lite ice and extra frosty she said they don't actually put frosty in the drink YOU BIG DUMMY WHY DO YOU WORK THERE! As we were driving along Hillside Avenue of Upper Jamaica Queens on a late night, visibly only few were still in business operation. We were starving and we were looking for the right fast food place for our needs. As Wendy is known being open late and it was on our way, we made a turn to this location as soon we passed by. I heard so much good things about the updated and fresh Wendy menu idea so I want to confirm it myself. As we walk in, we could tell the staff is getting ready for closing . We still have hour to enjoy though our meal. We settled for salad #1-the spicy grilled chicken Caesar salad and #3-the Apple walnut salad. Both were satisfying. We got the freshness we were expecting. Each respective dressing were perfectly selected by the Wendy's chef , thumbs up fir that.,Pricing for half serving is reasonable. The restaurant has a modern look outside and inside. It has a fireplace in a lounge area, a big screen TV for patron use, a stylish soda dispenser, high bar tables , comfy low tables with matching cushy chairs. May they keep this place well. read more

I don't know if this is the WORST Wendy's in existence but it's far from the best. The food is as you would typically expect at any Wendy's but I'm really giving it 2 stars due to a safety concern. There are crackheads that knock on your car window as you approach the drive thru begging for money. They need to hire at least sporadic security to clean up the loitering in the parking lot and create a safer environment. read more

When people talk about an experience of a lifetime they obviously have yet to go this Wendy's. Upon arrival I was exited to try their premium product "Sauced Nuggs" but of course plans dont go as expected. The body language of the staff was saying "Why are you here" and they'd rather play around than take customer orders. The Sodamix had barely any drinks no ice and everything came out flat and hot. I've always had decent experiences at this Wendy's but unfortunately tonight changed everything. A common standard should be mad at every establishment there should not be one Wendy's that is better than others and there shouldn't be this Wendy's which is the bottom of the barrel if I had to pick to either stay starving or go to this Wendy's I'd rather stay starving. honestly, this Wendy's is not worth the money. The workers obviously don't care about satisfying the customers and when you're driving for many hours drinking bottle bottle at the bottle cup after a cup of soda, you end up having to use the restroom really really badly of course the bathroom experience I can't even mention since it was out of service and it's hard to believe that a fast food staff don't have to use the bathroom at . the body language of the staff was screaming that they are closing for good really soon. read more

So I'm not a big fast food burger-chain kind of guy and, the truth is, this location has never been very appealing buuuut.... They recently did a full renovation of this location both outside and inside (at least as far as the dining area is concerned). The first thing you'll notice is that it looks like a brand new and modern Wendy's which it largely is. The access doors into the restaurant have changed a bit and that's due to the completely redesigned and reconfigured interior. An interior which I have to admit may be among the most attractive and thoughtfully done up for such an establishment. It features all manners of seating from your typical low top tables, to a few 2 person high top tables, to a "bar seating" configuration which overlooks Hillside Avenue (and all its beauty...just kidding), to a few seats next to what appears to be a gas fireplace over which there is a (not-yet-working) flat screen TV. It's all clean and attractive and, at least for the moment, very well maintained. Here's hoping it stays that way, especially with Van Buren High School very close by which should mean high student traffic. read more

Went here for a late night snack with my hubby. He was super excited about getting the baconator and I got the S'wesome bacon burger. Unfortunately, when we got home from the drive thru we discovered that my husband had got a triple burger. He was super bummed because what he wanted was the bacon. I used to really like this Wendy's, but the supervisor chased me away. The food tastes decent, it's fast food so there's not much difference unless you go to a location out of NYC. The drive thru service is really fast, expect your food as you get to the window, the lines inside take a long time. If you want to eat inside, I advise you buy at the drive thru and bring your food inside. One late night, the guys and I drove by after a long day of having fun. We pretty much racked up an order of about $60, which is alot of food at a Wendy's considering the awesome $1 menu (or almost $2 menu for even more items lol). We finished our order and told the person over the speaker thank you. The guys in the car went back to talking among themselves. As we pulled up to the window to pay and pickup the food, we see one of the employees standing there looking at us with no food in his hands. He said someone in the car had called him some name or other, and he wasn't going to serve us anything and to get the hell out because now they are closed. Well Mr. Assistant Manager, who's name was Cortney, no one said anything to you, everyone is tired and just want their food. We try to talk to him and explain nothing was said to him or about him. This could quite possibly be THE WORST WENDY'S IN THE WORLD. Went there a few weeks ago and there was no heat on in the place and it was freezing. To top that, we were on line for about 25 minutes (yes, literally that long) because some lady asked the cashier questions about every single item on the menu, but after we told her if she didn't hurry, we were gunna push her off the line, the workers were moving so damn slow, like the didn't care how long we waited on line. While we were on line (which I expect at wendy's but this overdid it), at least fifteen customers left because the workers were moving so damn slow. I used to go to this Wendy's a lot. The food was okay, but could have been a little more on the fresh side. The staff there weren't the brightest people around. They were way too slow, and some of them couldn't understand English very well. They appeared unorganized behind the counter, and I remember one young lady who became so rude after giving me a wrong order that I gave her an earful back as to the proper way to treat customers. If I happen to be around the area when I'm hungry, I'll stop by again.
