Yeah, normally I would rate your average Wendy's 4 stars, for their tasty, fresh, never-frozen beef patties in their burgers, affordable prices, and delicious fries and spicy nuggets. This particular location I'm going to give a 5 star rating for a couple reasons. Convenient location: This Wendy's is located walking distance from the South San Francisco Caltrain station. The few times I came to this Wendy's is because I either missed my train, or I showed up early and wanted to kill time and grab some food. The Wendy's is located within a gas station which makes it convenient for drivers filling up on gas. There's also a tractor/truck wash so it serves a bunch of truckers. It's also close to the SF International Airport. History: Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams ate here. I have the Wendy's app, which gives you points and rewards when you order so thank goodness it was free but I could not drink it. The cons here are that they are half maskers (people who don't wear their masks OVER their nose) so I saw two girls preparing food and the window lady who did not wear their masks properly. This Wendy's location is located at the Flyer's gas station inside the convenience store. It is not your typical Wendy's restaurant, It is small but they do have seating inside the convenience store. We arrived late to our hotel and wanted something to eat. Luckily, it was nearby and was opened late in the evening. Just be careful coming in the evening because the area is a little sketchy. read more

Experience from 4/12/2019: This is the best Wendy's restaurant I have been to. There was a line when I came but it wasn't very long and it moved quick. Friendly staff and excellent service. So bonus points to the crew for this part. I came in, looked at the menu and had my order placed. My fries and salad were fresh and delicious. The ingredients in that salad was freshly prepared and this is certainly the best salad I have had. I enjoyed my quick meal here. It is located at a gas station with a convenience store and a Starbucks at this facility. This definitely a great spot to get a quick lunch or a fill me up. Sure it is fast food and not a very smart choice. But at least it's still a quick meal. Yes, seating is available. Overall, positive experience here. Besides the occasional grunt or the judging eyes from the drive thru ladies... which honestly is understandable, just in my opinion, a poor "best" example of the highest standard of professionalism for fast food industry. But "gruntingly," passable because the food is hot and delicious, the non-approachable ladies move with a sense of urgency that outshine the associates that work for me and they can unload a 1000 packages in an hour, and even if I make a request for extra condiments, a grunt or stare may ensue, but they actually or set up well for success that they actually GIvE me the right condiment and plenty. That's a simple personal preference that is executed and completed with the highest form of professionalism that the early-morning-grunts or challenging no smiling stares seems minuscule. I will always be down for Wendy's! If I had to choose to wait the 20minutes until they open after a 15 hour work day. I will gladly keep being cheery till I hear the iconic drive-thru greeting "good morning welcome to (establishment name) May I take your order?" I love cheese. Especially on my sandwiches. I always ask to add cheese onto sandwiches that would normally not have cheese on them. That's how much I love it. But you should see me at the drive-thru! I'm screaming "ADD CHEESE" so I know they heard me! CHEESE! CHEESE! CHEESE! And when they repeat my order back they'll usually repeat it correctly. But for my own peace of mind, I say it again. I almost never get fast food. And even then, it's typically In-N-Out. However, I had been craving a Frosty from Wendy's for almost a month. During our lunch break on a Sunday, my coworker and I made a trip to Wendy's for a Frosty fix. I ordered a small Frosty, small fries, and a 4-piece spicy chicken nugget with sweet and sour sauce. The Frosty was good. I think I might have over-hyped it in my head. The fries were decent -- room temperature and lacking in flavor, but a good texture. The spicy chicken nuggets were not spicy and overall disappointing, especially when I know McDonald's has much better fries and chicken nuggets. The little old lady that's always at the cashier scams you out of your money. I went to get fast food, some how on the recepit it says change is $0.75, she hands me $0.25 back, I said it says 75 cents, she hands me another quarter, but I said you owe me 50 cents. She tells me its an error, I told her its not. So I just let it go, she scammed me out of 25 cents. But went I got my burger it was gross. The top bun was hard like it was toasted an hour ago and was sitting there, while the bottom bun was soft. Also the guy ahead of me almost got scammed too.
