Jack's is our go-to for a reason -- it's always solid, the prices are fair, and the service is consistently great. It's a big restaurant, so they can easily seat a large party, which makes it perfect for celebrations. We've done family gatherings here and it's never a hassle. My favorite is the salmon risotto -- creamy, with a hint of lemon and bits of wilted spinach mixed in. It hits every time. My family has tried a bunch of other dishes too: the cod with capers, sirloin steak, mac and cheese, and burgers, and everything has been delicious. The menu has something for everyone, which is part of why we keep coming back. Parking is usually not an issue either, which is a nice bonus. Reliable food, friendly service, and room for the whole crew -- Jack's checks all the boxes.

This is your family Sunday breakfast spot. I sat at the bar. The bartender was cute and friendly. I tried their chicken omelette, which I never had chicken in an omelette before and it's become my go to. Too family oriented for me. I'm looking for a girls that brunch spot.

We came here for breakfast and had a really good meal overall. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and my husband had the Fish Po' Boy. The Fish Po' Boy was absolutely amazing. We would definitely order it again! I liked Eggs Benedict as well. The only downside for us was the atmosphere. We really enjoy places with lots of natural light, especially in the morning, so we didn't understand why all the lights were turned on when there was already plenty of daylight. It made the space feel less cozy than we expected. I think, we would consider ordering delivery in the future. There are still several dishes on the menu that I'd love to try.

Cute spot with a full bar and large screens playing sports . Luckily FIFA right now. Got seated quickly and love that you can see the kitchen and food being made. Food was excellent. Only downfall was drinks came after the meal arrived and sprite was flat . Other than that great experience. Will return again .

Food is good depending on what you order, service is ok depending on how your server's mood is, ambiance is different depending on the time of day.

I've always passed by and heard of Jack's, but honestly, it never really caught my attention, even with their bright lit-up "Jack's" sign. After dining here for a double date, though, I was genuinely surprised. The food and service were both on point! FOOD: 9/10 ALCOHOLIC BEVS: 9/10 SERVICE: 9/10 AMBIANCE: 9/10 FOOD: 9/10 I loved that there was a wide variety of options without it feeling overwhelming. That said, a lot of the dishes sounded really good, so you might find yourself feeling a bit indecisive. I'm always a pasta person, so I ordered their Italian pasta, and it was BOMB. The portion size was perfect: filling without being too heavy. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and most importantly, served piping hot. ALCOHOLIC BEVS: 9/10 They had a solid selection of drinks, whether you're into beer, cocktails, or hard liquor. I also thought their seasonal Christmas drinks were a fun and cute touch. SERVICE: 9/10 Our server, Cesar, was kind, funny, and very attentive. I really appreciated his service, especially how he never made us feel rushed, even though it was close to closing time. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Jack's was very comfortable to dine in and gave off a lounge-like vibe with multiple TV screens showing sports. They have a good mix of booth and table seating, which makes it great for both casual hangouts and group dinners.

Local and reliable restaurant filled with various great dishes. The family can always find something they want and have been going here for years. The service makes you feel comfortable and the place is cozy. Sometimes it is hard to get into on weekends, but definitely worth it.

We originally had reservations at another restaurant in the city, but they were canceled due to a power outage in the area. We quickly had to find an alternative and decided on Jack's. Despite the restaurant being pretty packed when we arrived, we were seated right away. Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything we ordered was delicious -- the shrimp scampi pasta, truffle fries, and rigatoni were all great. Our server was very friendly, and we were in and out within 30-45 minutes. We would definitely come back to try other menu items or even visit another location. There's a wide variety of options to choose from.

We have been customers of Jack's Restaurant & Bar in San Bruno for many years. In all honesty, at one of our first visits, I found the breakfast to be unexciting and dinner to be mediocre. So, we took a hiatus of a few years. Fast forward to post-Covid times when we rediscovered the restaurant just down the street from our house. From then to present day, Jack's has been one of our regular eateries from where we order take-out. Nothing wrong with dining in-house here, but since the pandemic, we have just gotten very comfortable with bringing food to eat at our own home. The venue always appears clean and tidy with a family friendly environment. My only complaint about their place is that the private parking lot is a bit tight, so parking large SUVs or bigger can be challenging. Good food at really great prices is what reels is in again and again. My #1 go-to is the GRILLED SALMON. At $25.95, it's a fabulous choice for a perfectly cooked fish with a side of broccoli and rice pilaf. I also love their CHOPPED CHICKEN SALAD ($21.95), but with crispy chicken instead of grilled. DJ is loyal to the BLACK SHEEP BURGER (VEGETARIAN) for $18.95 and the boys like their REUBEN ($19.95), RIGATONI DI POLLO ($21.95), CAESAR SALAD ($13.95) + Chicken ($5.95), and more. What is really worth mentioning is their awesome service, even when calling to place take-out orders. No mistakes EVER, something you can't say about many other places. In short, Jack's in San Bruno is a solid destination for yummy eats and perfect service. I can't comment on their other locations, but this locale gives a magnificent first impression of their chain.

Reservations are a must if wanting to go during Early Bird Special. Not a lot of items to choose from if seeking the special but so worth it. Most items $25 which includes entree, soup or salad, veggies, choice of mashed potatoes or rice pilaf, and choice of coffee, tea, or soda. The NY steak is a little extra. Sourdough also brought to the table. Good sized portions and everyone was happy with their food. Service was great as well. No complaints.

Another good evening drop in for a quick burger and mix appetizers with a cold beer. Staff are on point with smiles all around. Comfortable seating in familiar surroundings never too loud just right.

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

We walked up to the bar and the bartender let us know we can sit anywhere. We sat in a booth up top. The vibe looked semi-formal, but I guess it was super casual. Looking at the menu, the pizzas were all pretty unique! What caught my eye was the Mushroom pizza which had portobello mushroom, cheese, thyme + scallions, and a creamy garlic white sauce. I'm a sucker for mushrooms and my five year old who is picky af likes them too. She enjoyed her slice. I felt the pizza was delicious but could use some parm and pepper flakes. We also ordered the Brooklyn. Omg, my favorite pizza now surpassing Blue Line's White Pie on my list. Pepperoni, jalapenos, basil, ricotta (omg!), and hot honey. Salivating just thinking about it. Downed these slices with a pint and the rest was history. I do have to note that the booths and tables were full of crumbs. Understandable as it's a pizzeria, but it would be nice for someone to clean in between guests. The staff member behind the bar had served us our meal and drinks as well and he was very kind. We will definitely be coming back to Industry!

Within the context of everyday no-frills cuisine, I would rate the food a 3.5/5. NY steak $28 - there was a nice grilled flavor and it was cooked perfectly medium but the meat itself was a little tough/chewy (which is why I prefer other cuts, but I can't be too picky here). It came with decently flavored mashed potatoes & gravy and a good-sized portion of sauteed vegetables. Chicken Parmesan $19. Generous portion. Came with fettuccine with tomato / marinara sauce. The sauce was a little too sour for my liking, and the chicken itself was a little dry. Shrimp with lobster sauce $22. Sauce doesn't actually have lobster (it's more of a thick Chinese black bean sauce with bits of minced pork, sauteed onions, and bell peppers). It's served over white rice. It was surprisingly hearty. I liked how there was enough sauce to coat each spoonful of rice. I personally would not return because I don't have a reason to gamble here and I don't like getting carded when entering (which I guess you could consider a compliment), but if you did spend the day here at the tables, the restaurant isn't a bad choice to have lunch/dinner.
