Jack's is our go-to for a reason -- it's always solid, the prices are fair, and the service is consistently great. It's a big restaurant, so they can easily seat a large party, which makes it perfect for celebrations. We've done family gatherings here and it's never a hassle. My favorite is the salmon risotto -- creamy, with a hint of lemon and bits of wilted spinach mixed in. It hits every time. My family has tried a bunch of other dishes too: the cod with capers, sirloin steak, mac and cheese, and burgers, and everything has been delicious. The menu has something for everyone, which is part of why we keep coming back. Parking is usually not an issue either, which is a nice bonus. Reliable food, friendly service, and room for the whole crew -- Jack's checks all the boxes.

We came here for breakfast and had a really good meal overall. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and my husband had the Fish Po' Boy. The Fish Po' Boy was absolutely amazing. We would definitely order it again! I liked Eggs Benedict as well. The only downside for us was the atmosphere. We really enjoy places with lots of natural light, especially in the morning, so we didn't understand why all the lights were turned on when there was already plenty of daylight. It made the space feel less cozy than we expected. I think, we would consider ordering delivery in the future. There are still several dishes on the menu that I'd love to try.

As you will see the two receipts..one for our good..hubby gave 18%!! Ughh!! :{ My Mom's to go order..gave 20%!!! :{

Cute spot with a full bar and large screens playing sports . Luckily FIFA right now. Got seated quickly and love that you can see the kitchen and food being made. Food was excellent. Only downfall was drinks came after the meal arrived and sprite was flat . Other than that great experience. Will return again .

I've always passed by and heard of Jack's, but honestly, it never really caught my attention, even with their bright lit-up "Jack's" sign. After dining here for a double date, though, I was genuinely surprised. The food and service were both on point! FOOD: 9/10 ALCOHOLIC BEVS: 9/10 SERVICE: 9/10 AMBIANCE: 9/10 FOOD: 9/10 I loved that there was a wide variety of options without it feeling overwhelming. That said, a lot of the dishes sounded really good, so you might find yourself feeling a bit indecisive. I'm always a pasta person, so I ordered their Italian pasta, and it was BOMB. The portion size was perfect: filling without being too heavy. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and most importantly, served piping hot. ALCOHOLIC BEVS: 9/10 They had a solid selection of drinks, whether you're into beer, cocktails, or hard liquor. I also thought their seasonal Christmas drinks were a fun and cute touch. SERVICE: 9/10 Our server, Cesar, was kind, funny, and very attentive. I really appreciated his service, especially how he never made us feel rushed, even though it was close to closing time. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Jack's was very comfortable to dine in and gave off a lounge-like vibe with multiple TV screens showing sports. They have a good mix of booth and table seating, which makes it great for both casual hangouts and group dinners.

We originally had reservations at another restaurant in the city, but they were canceled due to a power outage in the area. We quickly had to find an alternative and decided on Jack's. Despite the restaurant being pretty packed when we arrived, we were seated right away. Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything we ordered was delicious -- the shrimp scampi pasta, truffle fries, and rigatoni were all great. Our server was very friendly, and we were in and out within 30-45 minutes. We would definitely come back to try other menu items or even visit another location. There's a wide variety of options to choose from.

We have been customers of Jack's Restaurant & Bar in San Bruno for many years. In all honesty, at one of our first visits, I found the breakfast to be unexciting and dinner to be mediocre. So, we took a hiatus of a few years. Fast forward to post-Covid times when we rediscovered the restaurant just down the street from our house. From then to present day, Jack's has been one of our regular eateries from where we order take-out. Nothing wrong with dining in-house here, but since the pandemic, we have just gotten very comfortable with bringing food to eat at our own home. The venue always appears clean and tidy with a family friendly environment. My only complaint about their place is that the private parking lot is a bit tight, so parking large SUVs or bigger can be challenging. Good food at really great prices is what reels is in again and again. My #1 go-to is the GRILLED SALMON. At $25.95, it's a fabulous choice for a perfectly cooked fish with a side of broccoli and rice pilaf. I also love their CHOPPED CHICKEN SALAD ($21.95), but with crispy chicken instead of grilled. DJ is loyal to the BLACK SHEEP BURGER (VEGETARIAN) for $18.95 and the boys like their REUBEN ($19.95), RIGATONI DI POLLO ($21.95), CAESAR SALAD ($13.95) + Chicken ($5.95), and more. What is really worth mentioning is their awesome service, even when calling to place take-out orders. No mistakes EVER, something you can't say about many other places. In short, Jack's in San Bruno is a solid destination for yummy eats and perfect service. I can't comment on their other locations, but this locale gives a magnificent first impression of their chain.

Reservations are a must if wanting to go during Early Bird Special. Not a lot of items to choose from if seeking the special but so worth it. Most items $25 which includes entree, soup or salad, veggies, choice of mashed potatoes or rice pilaf, and choice of coffee, tea, or soda. The NY steak is a little extra. Sourdough also brought to the table. Good sized portions and everyone was happy with their food. Service was great as well. No complaints.

Another good evening drop in for a quick burger and mix appetizers with a cold beer. Staff are on point with smiles all around. Comfortable seating in familiar surroundings never too loud just right.

Friendly welcoming restaurant with good food and nice decor. Parking lot always full. Got the lamb burger which was thick and juicy, and a side of fries. Meatloaf was huge and enough for 2 meals. Tried the churro waffle which was just ok, too sweet for my taste. Spanakopita was excellent

A great spot to dine with friends and family! The food is absolutely delicious and the menu has something for everyone with food restrictions in mind too (gluten-free Mac & cheese for example)! Service is always of the highest quality and shoutout Ernesto P who is attentive and amazing!

Wonderful happy hour menu! Great portions as well. Ambiance was great! Restaurant is very clean and neat. Our server, Jason, was very attentive and kind. He was great! He was very quick. Would definitely recommend coming here if you want a small bite for happy hour, or to eat a full meal! Staff overall are very hard working and kind. My favorites from the happy hour menu would be the wedge salad, and mediterranean sample platter.

Solid food - a must for me when I'm trying to catch the game with friends and family. A crowd favorite. This location is great for before I fly out or when I'm landing hungry. I love breakfast here but brunch/ lunch / dinner are good too. Their fish plates, burger and meatloaf is bomb. I don't ever order meatloaf out but it's one of my college buddy's favorite's so I've enjoyed. The salmon is a solid choice along with the Reuben and wraps. Oh and the fries are good - bet you can't eat just one!

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

I've been exploring all the breakfast burritos in SanFran but this place is now also at the top of my list! I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage and was happy with all the fillings - chunky potatoes, good amount of egg, onions, tomato, and chunky pieces of sausage in a spinach tortilla. (Instead of protein, my friend added avocado instead. And you can choose different types of tortillas - flour, whole wheat, spinach, and others) Just overall good and very filling. Not huge but not small either. The only thing I missed was salsa to put on it. Tapatio packets were given instead. (To be fair, these are Latin American-inspired breakfast burritos not "Mexican" burritos with salsa on the side.) Great breakfast burrito! Looks like there are other dishes to try. This is officially my new airport dining choice when available. I'm not a coffee drinker but they spend an equal amount of love on their matcha and chai!! This warms my heart! Both times I went for the breakfast burrito. Big fan of the veggie breakfast burrito with added bacon :) The chipotle sauce is the liquid gold! I find potatoes and hash browns to be fillers when not extra crispy for texture. Sadly they were filler here but so far they are light handed on the filler so all is right in the burrito. At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. My pork chop dinner included soup or salad, slice of toasted and buttered sourdough, potatoes or rice, vegetables and choice of dessert. All for just under $30 before tip. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. DH had the cheeseburger with potato salad and praised the meal. He also devoured my dessert--ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, making me want to return. Next time I'll have something like a sandwich or burger.
